This hotel has a superb location and offers great value for the price. It is very convenient, with easy access to the town center and nearby attractions.
However, the bed comfort could be improved. I had difficulty sleeping because the pillow was extremely large and took up almost half of the bed, which made it uncomfortable to rest properly during my stay.
The staff were kind, but they denied our booking made through Booking.com. I showed them my booking confirmation, yet they said it was not in their records. They claimed the booking was for another branch of Canary Hanoi Hotel, but when I searched, there was no other branch with that name.
The photos on my booking matched their hotel perfectly, but they still refused to honor the reservation. Instead, they offered us vacant rooms at a higher cost or told us to find another hotel.
We were already exhausted from traveling, so we had no real choice but to take their rooms just to get some rest.
Had a very bad experience with the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights there and during that time we used the towels and sheets there and had some stains that were removable and not tuff. And there they told us to pay for the stains. We insisted them to clean the things properly but without even cleaning the towels and sheets they charged us 1,000,000 dongs and told us that stains are unremovable. And when we washed the things ourselves the stains we removed properly. We have also been to many hotels and have used stuff there but nobody charged us for that. Totally unacceptable. Even some lights were not working in our room. I would not recommend anybody this hotel and will not come to this hotel again. Charging for some removable stains and not even trying to remove it is looting people.
Very efficient personnel at the reception, and very helpful for ordering a taxi, finding a place to eat etc
Room is very comfortable, and relaxing. Bathroom has a big shower, and toiletries are provided.
Air conditioning works well and can be altered to suit yourself.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 10th, top floor. But there is no possibility of lunch or evening meal.
Highly recommend. New hotel with spacious rooms and large shower (and we only booked standard) and amazing value! The young gentleman who checked us in around 11pm was super helpful and offered to order us food from his phone as we were hungry after a long flight and all restaurants in the area were closed. Breakfast has nice selection with a good cooked to order menu as well as continental buffet. Not in the old quarter but Grab cars are so cheap. Would stay here again.
