Not 4-star hotel. Rooms have a mildewy smell. Room was generous size for the area, which unfortunately takes a long time to cool down with AC. Ended up sleeping on a sweaty bed. Let's hope staff cleans the room for the next guest...

Pros The location was good, close to many sights Cons Says you get lounge access with suite, but there is no such lounge (or we weren't informed of it). Along with some other details on the room, the description is false, like the living room and bedroom are separate, getting a sofa bed, The initial room provided wasn't as per the booking details, was small, and in need of much maintenance The walls are too thin. You can hear all drainage sounds from the floors above you when it flows past your room.
Where to start.. what a terrible hotel. Rooms are cramp, damn and the AC smells. The one small window doesn't lead to the outside - but to narrow shaft - basically a death trap. The top floor has a bar (which was ok) that plays music and all of this music travels down the shaft into your room. Great for sleeping right, loud techno in ear? Asked twice for them to lower it, they finally did, so there's that. Location is great but still... wish we picked a different place as the room really affected our sleep. Staff was average at best, not at all as friendly or helpful as you'd expect in Vietnam. Finally, when checking out the receptionist asked me to give a ten star review - the audacity. It wasn't uninhabitable but basically just barely above. Serious avoid.
What a disappointing stay. After 1 month travelling in Vietnam I’ve seen my fair share of hotels and this was definitely the worst. Firstly there is some false advertising when you choose your room online- most hotels make it clear when you are choosing a room without a window. This one doesn’t, the options are ‘room with balcony’ or ‘room’- I didn’t realise that a room without a balcony also doesn’t have a window. I asked if they had a room I could move to with a window- they said there weren’t any available… There was no running water for the first day in the hotel (consider it’s also 37 degrees outside)- honestly I sympathise with plumbing problems, however the customer service quality in dealing with this issue was 0- there was no communication or sympathy. Just when asked, they responded ‘oh they will fix it in the next hour’. I recommend if this happens in the future that the hotel staff 1. Give a genuine apology 2. A realistic timeline and 3. Something to compensate with the problem (a discount would be nice but even a free drink would ease the pain). Once the water returned we had a bad leak in the bathroom dripping into a bucket which we alerted the staff about- again no apology, no offer of moving our room- “if you want it fixed we will need to make a construction mess of the room and remove part of the ceiling while you’re staying in the room”. There was also nearly no hot water in the shower throughout our stay. The room itself was fairly clean with just a few hairs found (I assume they were the cleaners) albeit a bit small. The hotel staff totally ignored us the whole time- not greeting us once or smiling when we walked through reception. They were often watching movies and generally seemed unapproachable and offered no help- certainly I felt awkward approaching them with questions. In general it felt that the hotel doesn’t care about the reputation of the establishment. I was happy to leave.
Avoid the message service here. Major rip off demanding tip the price of massage service. The quality of massage was probably the worse I’ve had in Vietnam. Set up of massage place lack privacy so you’re getting dressed which is visible to everyone in the room covered by a see through sheen curtain. Massage bed is just a normal portal bed which is commonly used at facial salon. Not ideal for a proper massage. Massage oil used is cheap baby oil. Avoid at all cost! My masseur was rude and when tipped her an amount she was unhappy she made it clear she was not happy.
