Kastens Hotel Luisenhof

A really nice hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. I would have rated 5-stars except the shower completely flooded the bathroom when I used it (thanks to a gap in the two doors). Housekeeping was prompt with bringing more towels though. One weird thing is the morning housekeeping team tried to enter my room to clean it at 08:30 on my day of checkout. There needs to be better communication with reception as to rooms that are checking out that day so they can be cleaned afterwards. I wouldn’t have expected that to happen at a 5-star hotel.

I stayed at the hotel while attending the WBC2026 conference. The room was quiet with good air conditioning, which made it comfortable for rest after long day during the heat wave (36C). The team was polite and professional throughout my stay. Although I experienced an unusual issue, the hotel handled it well and I truly appreciate the efforts and the action the hotel took to address the situation.

We stayed at Kastens Hotel Luisenhof for three weeks for a mix of work and vacation, and it truly felt like a home base in the city. The location is perfect — after long work days it was so easy to step outside and spend the evenings exploring with my spouse without needing transportation. The staff consistently went above and beyond. Every interaction felt personal and attentive, and they quickly learned our routines during the longer stay, which made it especially comfortable. The food was excellent throughout our visit — fresh, high quality, and something we actually looked forward to instead of just convenience dining. For both short stays and extended visits, this hotel makes the experience feel relaxed, welcoming, and memorable. We would absolutely stay here again.

On Monday 02.02.26 I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and the experience offers great value. From the moment you approach the breakfast area, the atmosphere already sets the tone for a high-end, personalized experience. Even before entering the hall, a selection of newspapers in multiple languages, such as The New York Times and Hannoversche Allgemeine are available, clearly catering to an international and diverse clientele. Upon entering the breakfast area, I was warmly welcomed by a staff member who kindly offered to take my coat and hang it for me, before escorting me to my table. I was seated in a charming little "cabin", which allowed me to enjoy breakfast in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast buffet itself was abundant and beautifully presented, filled to the brim with tasty products. Everything looked inviting and well maintained. In addition to the buffet, there was also a separate menu offering freshly prepared, personalized egg dishes. I chose one of these options, and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. Overall, both the service and the breakfast offering were truly delightful. Considering the quality, attention to detail and overall experience, the price of €32 is more than reasonable. It is a luxurious, yet comfortable start of the day.
