Yesterday, our tour guide Leo recommended this amazing local restaurant. The food was so authentic—we got to try real, home-style Hangzhou dishes and experience how locals actually live here. Today, we explored a water town. It was raining the whole time, but we did the full tour anyway. It's such a unique place.
Just like my HZ West Lake experience, the provided the guided personal experience which avoided the larger tour groups (present everywhere at this location, too). Allowed expropriation and experiencing on a much more pleasurable pace.

As a solo traveller it was really nice to have a day being guided around (with someone e who can translate too!) and directed to the best places. My tour guide June was really friendly and confident in her knowledge of the town. I was able to see parts of a theatre performance, puppet light show, bamboo climbing ritual, and go into museums (all of which I would not have known to see otherwise). The boat ride was a really special experience too. Moreover, as a vegetarian I was well catered for with excellent food. I had a great time!

Wuzhen is a beautiful a dfin place to visit. So much history preserved. May aka xiaozhou was a great tour guide. She was knowledgeable about the history of wuzhen. She was very sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour.
I booked this tour as a way to explore the local area as a first time visitor at the end of a business trip when I had a few days free. This was my first experience of a private tour and what can I say - it was amazing!! The organisation and booking was so straightforward and easy to do, great communication throughout and I instantly felt like I was in great hands! My guide, Sherry, was simply amazing! From the moment I met her she was warm, friendly, and made me feel so comfortable and safe in this place so far from home. Sherry shared loads of interesting facts and information about our starting point, Hangzhou, and continued to amaze and impress me throughout the course of the day! By the end of the tour I was exhausted! But felt like I had learnt loads, and also felt like I had a new friend in my life. The water village is absolutely worth a visit, for anyone wanting to go, and I cannot recommend booking with this team - from the organisers behind the scenes, to the amazing guide and even the wonderful, friendly driver! This is absolutely worth the money and I just want to thank the team once again for making my visit so memorable!
We took a day trip to wuzhou and it couldn’t have been better: as we saw Hangzhou yesterday, we were offered a very organized excursion without compromising our departure from the city (flying today out of Hangzhou) making it a very good use of our time in a Private and convenient tour in a nice and comfortable car with friendly staff. Sam is a very patient and nice guide and he took care of everything rapidly and efficiently.

We had a great day. Picked up at our hotel by a friendly driver/guide. During the day we received good informations about history, culture and local things. Our guide was speaking perfect English. All in all, the trip full filled our expectations.
We went to Wu Zhen Ancient water town with our lovely tour guide Sharon, who speaks both English and Chinese fluently. She had everything organized for us, tickets, boat ride and more. During our tour, she told us many many stories of the ancient city, and she's also very helpful in most other Tourist related questions. Boat ride at night was amazing, night lights was delightful! It was a truly memorable experience for us, I highly recommend a must go place, and remember to choose Sharon to be your guide.

We signed up for a one day trip from Hangzhou to Wuzhen at the last minute (in fact just the day before the trip) and were pleasantly surprised that they could confirm the tour at such short notice. Our guide was David, who speaks excellent English and Chinese. He is very knowledgeable of the history and culture of China. Hence, it was a educational tour for us too! We are really thankful that David was able to steer us away from the crowd and hence we were able to take in the sights at our own pace. He provided nuggets of information at every locations we went into. Enough information for us to appreciate what we were seeing. Never intrusive, he gave us lots of time to explore on our own. We were supposed to arrive back in Hangzhou at 4pm but we enjoyed the tour so much that we extended it till 6pm! :) We highly recommend David for this Wuzhen tour.
We booked this tour at the last minute by phone. But overhang thing was confirmed very promptly. Excellent customer service! Everything was organised and well planned. Our tour guide David speaks very good English. He shared many lovely stories about the ancient water town. Would definitely use their services again.
