Meet your private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning, and head up to Hangzhou City by taking a 1-hour bullet train ride. On the train, discuss your Hangzhou things-to-do list with your guide. Hangzhou is a great place for a day trip. Beautiful Lake, Tea Gardens, Buddha Temple. All are out of this world. Kimi our tour guide is a nice gentleman with good English and also great knowledge about the history.
Great sites to visit - West Lake, Tea fields, Liying Temple. Guide was awesome. Very attentive to everything. Explained everything thoroughly. I learned so much more than I expected. The full tour was all worth it. First class train seats, delicious lunch at a restaurant that is beautiful and displayed a lot of cultural details. Key is be ontime as there was a lot of traffic. But amazing trip and will likely do it again, with adjustments to spending more time in my favorite area, when I come back.

We were able to experience things that we wouldn’t have done independently. Car pickups were punctual and our guide Queena was organised and knowledgeable, giving a good insight in to some of the culture of China. A very enjoyable day.
A great day out with Kimi, my guide, who so patiently and knowledgeably answered all my many questions on Hanzhou and China as a whole. Tour was fantastically organised by Alana who took care of every detail including our very punctual and professional drivers at both ends of the trip. We managed so see so much in one day that it was unbelievable. This included a boat ride and a hike in a tea plantation and was crowned off by possibly the best meal I have ever had in China. We all had a fantastic time. The lunch was wonderful, the boat ride relaxing, and the temple absolutely gorgeous and fascinating. We enjoyed the bit of shopping we got to do, and our guide Wen wen was informative, attentive, and efficient, as well as a pleasure to be around. I would absolutely recommend this experience. We are two families with teens and it’s pretty intimidating to think about navigating transport and activities in another country, and the tours we’ve been on make it seamless and so wiorth it. We can actually enjoy ourselves without stressing the whole time. We really felt paid attention to and taken care of. Highly recommend.
The lake, tea plantation and the Buddhist Temple are major sights, not to be missed when visiting China. Kimi our tour guide is knowledgeable, proficient in English and easy to understand. We had a wonderful tour in Huangzhou and can highly recommend it! Our guide Queen was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole day very enjoyable. We had a lovely boat ride on the lake, visited a beautiful tea village with stunning views, enjoyed a delicious lunch with the famous Beggar’s Chicken, and explored amazing Buddha temples full of history and culture. The transfer was excellent as well — very comfortable car, always on time, and thanks to the great organization we could see much more in one day. Truly a fantastic experience!

We love their great customer service and professionalism. We changed pick-up point at last minutes and they quickly turnaround to support us. All other arrangements (ie: transport, timing, tickets for attraction, …) are flawlessly arranged. The tour guide, Kimi, is knowledgeable. He showed us in-depth history or local insights for places we visited. The food at local restaurant for lunch time is also very tasteful. In short, we did enjoy the trip and felt like it is personalized uniquely for ourselves :)

Today we do private tour to Hangzhou. Caroline is the tour leader. She is a very friendly, cheerful, and bright person. Going on this one day trip with her is very enjoyable. She shows us a lot of tips and is very helpful throught out the trip. She takes pictures for us, explain the history well, and she also help us order the best and most delicious food I've ever taste.
Great day on the water, visited the largest housed Buddha temple and had a delicious lunch. Caroline is very knowledgeable and kept us on time to each destination. Make sure to buy the grade A green tea from the local farmers. A wonderful gift and treat for yourself when you arrive home.

It is obvious she pressurizes her employees to remind clients to leave 5 star review..my message to Alana is: cool your jets you have provided a first class whirlwind prescion experience and most everyone will be happy to provide a 5 star review. BUT: DO NOT TELL ME TO LEAVE A 5 STAR REVIEW! I make up my own mind. I felt i had to make this 4 stars to bring to peoples attention amongst, what I am sure are all 5 star reviews because of the high quality experience.
My wife provided the main review which was very positive, however I just wanted to highlight that the tea tasting involved a polystyrene cup of green tea with our tasty lunch. "Tea tasting" description, to me, conjures up a totally different scenario. Otherwise an excellent day out.

Wonderful day start to finish! We began at West Lake with a lovely boat ride and walk around the lake and then enjoyed a little hike up to sea the tea plantation. After enjoying some local green tea we had a delicious lunch and then went to the temple which was amazing. Caroline was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommend!

This was an exceptional tour and highly recommended! We don’t usually book tours on Tripadvisor but had a free day during our week in Shanghai and it has turned out to be a highlight of our trip. We have travelled extensively and are very comfortable independent travellers, but this would have been a tricky and stressful day without the tour, which ran seamlessly. Our guide was Queena and she was perfect: excellent English, extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful photographer! She was respectful of our preferences and ordered delicious dishes for us to try at lunch. We understand so much more about China thanks to her. The private boat ride on West Lake was very peaceful, the tea plantation interesting, and Lingyin Temple was truly spectacular. A big thank you to Alana for so smoothly arranging everything including dropping us off right at our dinner reservation back in Shanghai. 5/5 stars.

Lin was our guide. She was patient and very helpful to us during the whole trip and made the experience so much more enjoyable.
The tour from end to end was seamless with a very supportive team to guide us through every step of the way from hotel to the train and thereafter the tour. Queena was there to guide us through the formalities of getting on and off the right train and security checks at the respective train stations. Something we couldn’t have done alone on our own. She looked after us well and this was extremely appreciated. Rebecca our tour guide for the tour was really upbeat and was great in guiding us through the tea plantation and temple despite the bad weather. We also had a lovely time at West Lake and an incredibly delicious local lunch. It was such a delightful tour that my husband and I decide that we want to come back and perhaps stay in Hangzhou for a few days instead of Shanghai.
