Wanda Vista Quanzhou

We checked in at Wanda Vista Hotel upon arrival at Quanzhou. After that , we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. When we finally went up to our rooms, there was a delay in bringing up of our luggages that night and everyone in our group were already complaining. I also had to request a change of room because we were assigned to a room that smelled cigarettes. The room we were transferred to was not as nice as what was previously booked but I was thankful that it was a non- smoking room. The staff was kind enoug to help us until we were settled. The rooms booked include buffet breakfast. The food selections were all good. Overall our stay was okay.

I didn't actually stay here, but I visit the dining room of this hotel often. The dinner buffet is extraordinary and the lunch buffet offers very good value as well. If a person can't find something to eat here that is entirely to their satisfaction, then it has to be their own problem or fault. The service wonderful also.

The hotel is a good place to stay for a short Business trip. The Mall next to it offers a big choice of Restaurants. The rooms are in average conditions, the smell in the room was not so nice. In the end, we expected more and got a reasonable result. There is a better choice a bit more outside of the City if you look for something in a better shape.

This hotel is located at a very convenient area for food and also shopping. The roadside pathways and area in general are brightly lit and CCTV'd. You will generally feel quite safe. As for the hotel itself, it is a grand looking hotel with a massive chandelier to meet you as you walk in. My room was on one of the club floors and I must say that it is a very comfortable hotel. The details are immaculate and they have staffs that can speak both English and mandarin. I will really recommend this hotel if you are here for business or leisure.
