The hotel is brand new with a well‑laid‑out room and great service. However, the bathroom emits a foul odour at night, especially the en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom, making it impossible to sleep through the night.

This four-star hotel-style apartment is located in Siming District, Xiamen Island, about a 15-minute ride by Didi (ride-hailing service) from Wutong Wharf. The hotel is about 280 meters from Exit 3 of Lingdou Station on Xiamen Metro Line 2, making transportation quite convenient. The rooms have an island kitchen, refrigerator, and washer-dryer, which is decent for a long stay. I stayed for three consecutive nights and ate breakfast every day. The main dishes were pretty much the same, but the side dishes changed slightly each day. It's fine for a few days, but I think if you stay for a week, you might start to get tired of it.

I came from Singapore and am currently staying here. (1) The heater not turning on during winter. We requested from hotel but the answer is that the locals here are used to 5-10 C temperature without heater, and the heater only turn on from mid December regardless of how low the external temperature is. So my advice is it not suitable for visitors from tropical countries (so cold to take shower and you need to wear outside clothing in the living room and bedroom throughout the day. (2) The WiFi in hotel has multiple network name. The front desk didn’t explain well. When we connected to a network name which apparently belong to our room, the network requires local mobile phone to get OTP frequently, and often cause the network to break away from WiFi and go into mobile network roaming and incur roaming cost. the frontdesk should explain clearly during check-in.
