Everything good but a bit overcrowded. If you on business trip this is very good location just opposite side of the Yiwu market just cross the street and find anything you need.

This hotel is the best I have stayed in China, it is amazing location, for both business and eating and entertainment. Incredible quality and clean, Big shout out to Albert Tong restaurant manager, he is incredible, and hands on, by example, the coffee station attendant was busy, Albert didnt appologise please wait, he made my coffee!! he is all over the place ensuring an amazing experiance, also when there was a small problem, Alberts handling was really skilled. He also covers the club lounge, making sure it runs smooth. His English spoken language really good, really great guy. Cleaning room was great, and the room everything right. Swimming pool the best, I could go on.....
For a simple review, the room is nice and the food is nice. However, the check-in queue is too long. I notice that the check-in process takes too long! I even counted one room needs like 2-3 minutes, just imagine when you come to the hotel with 10+ rooms.
2nd time staying at this hotel. Staff like Bola make this place bearable cause the other staff might as well be non existent. I am a Jade member and have been with the brand for a long time. Not sure if this Shang is up to the mark. Staff does not speak English, expect for 1 or 2 people. There is a base rudeness in the staff here. Need 3-4 people like Bola to manage this place. Food mediocre, most rooms smell of smoke. I am not sure why Shangrila has tied up its name to this property. Staff needs some serious training in hospitality and guest relations management. And the funniest part I have ever seen is that all the female staff has to wear heels, in which they cannot walk or walk funny. Please take the heels away. Let me be normal. It looks like the entire female staff is being punished to wear heels and none of them can walk straight with the heels on. Not much choice in Yiwu, either This crappy Shangrila or a crappier Marriott next door. But definitely not a Shangrila in my books. Never will be!!
Update: After posting this review, Bola from the hotel stepped in and handled the situation well. We were moved to a new room with no smoke smell, and the hotel also offered complimentary breakfast, which we appreciate. Original experience: We are currently staying at Shangri-La Yiwu, and unfortunately this has been a very disappointing experience for a hotel of this standard. We booked a non-smoking room (Room 3201) for January 23–25, but upon arrival the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We contacted Guest Services and were moved to Room 3001, which also also smelled like smoke. Since both rooms had the same issue, we were asked to return to our original room and were told an air freshener would be used to fix the problem. More than 12 hours later, the room still smells heavily of smoke, to the point that it is causing headaches and discomfort. This is not what we paid for or expect from a Shangri-La property, especially when booking a guaranteed non-smoking room. The handling of this issue has been slow and ineffective, and it remains unresolved. Very disappointing experience and not up to Shangri-La standards
