We expect welcome check-in, (staff English level only so-so), clean rooms (room carpet was badly soiled) and efficient cool looking design (glass shr wall electric blind was missing louvres), efficient comms. equipment (wifi was terrible and only suitable for data cable connection), room service was tenuous - see additional comments below, (tried ordering food but Kitchen dun speak English and hung up on me), room maintenance needed attention.
The only saving grace was as Starbucks adjacent to the front lobby entry and the city location.

The hotel was very good for my business trip. Everything worked well, from check-in to support by the staff regarding my requests.
The hotel is 2 min walk from the metro station and a shopping mall with plenty of food options.
I particularly liked that the room temperature was pre-set at a "normal" level. I often observe in other hotels in Asia excessive heating in winter or excessive cooling in summer which I don't support due to it's negative environmental impact.
Really disappointed with the service here. The staff at check-in were completely uninterested and didn't even make eye contact. Made me feel very unwelcome. And to top it off, the hotel itself was pretty grim. Definitely wouldn't recommend it, and I've already posted about my experience on Red (小红书) so hopefully others can avoid this place. Oh, and they promised a room upgrade that never happened - what a joke!
Rooms are novotel standard, clean and comfy bed. Breakfast is ok. Location near convention center. Surrounding is perfect, food and minimart is no problem. Luxury mall walking distance as well as metro. Morning walk on riverside is perfect.
Spacious room with nice technological touches and sleek design. Hotel is easily reachable by the metro. Comfortable to stay in the room but once you leave the room, it’s a bit annoying to deal with the family travelers that let kids run wild in public area, which also makes dining in this hotel a challenge ( which isn’t to blame on the hotel) it’s only probably families choose this hotel for a certain reason, such as family benefits?
