Mercure Fuzhou Downtown

The rooms that were given to my travelling party faced the front. It was very noisy. Cars honking at all hours, construction sound. Recommended to get rooms not facing the front. Staff were quite friendly. Room comfortable other than the sound. Breakfast spread isnt bad but personally, I wasnt used to the taste. The cereal were hard, i just couldnt stomach it. The fried udon were hard and some tasted as though not cooked properly. Location's fine though.

Comfortable room, neat and ckean. The bathroom door need to improve.

SCAM ALERT! This is the worst hotel I have experienced in my many years as a platinum member of Accor. We were a business contingent of about 20 pax staying 6Aug to 8/9Aug 2025. My booking was for a room 38m sq as stated on Accor website but the room assigned is more like 16m sq. The reception gave the reason that the information on the website is wrong. A colleague of mine could not even check in until 7pm and had to wait till the current guest leaves. They just said, "We are full house". No apologies whatsoever from the hotel, shocking! This hotel absolutely tarnishes the image of Accor hotels, we will never come back.
