I had a pleasant and satisfactory stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou.
The rooms are very spacious, and I especially liked the clever sliding divider that allows you to separate the bathroom area when needed.
Breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was prompt and efficient.
The hotel is also very conveniently located, with the metro entrance just a 3-minute walk away.
The service provided by the staff here is impeccable. Love the hospitality of the Chinese. The breakfast buffet is pretty good with a wide spread.
The rooms are clean, only beef I have with it is the room doesn’t have good ventilation hence initially I can smell some musky smell from the bathroom. Probably due to the dated design. But overall it’s still a comfortable stay.
Special mentioned that we went during winter and it was pretty cold, the room service team provided us with a heater when we requested for it. Thankfully they have it and were willing to let us use it.
We came with a 3 YO kid and the bathtub in room came in pretty handy for us.
Above average location, good just because didi made it convenient to go anywhere, but just nearby there isn’t much within close walking distance.
There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel which serves very good food. Good for situations when you just need to stay in hotel and need food. Anyway meituan is convenient enough to get almost anything so it’s not going to affect much
It’s been a great and convenient hotel. The staff is very nice and efficient. Unfortunately the rooms are non smoking but some people do smoke and it smells like cigarettes. It’s very clean. The breakfast offers a large choice of items. The lobby is great. The location is great and the subway station is right there.

The Intercontinental Fuzhou is a clean and smoking-free hotel. The room features a pillow menu and you can order specific pillows from housekeeping.
There's great Fukienese food from the hotel's Chinese restaurant with complimentary vegetarian Buddha Jumping Wall soup and fried fish.
Their lunch buffet has a wide selection of Chinese, Western and Japanese sushi. Its features a fresh seafood personal hotpot with live seafood from the tank.
We would happily stay again.
Great location. Great rooms. Great service. One of the best international hotels I have stayed. They go out of the way to pamper you.
