Enjoyed my stay overall. The rooms are the standout — spacious, modern, and the beds are very comfortable. Great value for what you get. The Regency Club was a bit underwhelming, particularly the food offering. Limited Western options, though that’s understandable given the location. There’s a mall next door which is handy.
The room size is huge. I really like the big table that both of us can sit for using laptops and dining. The bed and pillows are definitely 5 star standard, and we had a super good quality sleep. The location is not close to the tourist spots but it is convenient to get around. I actually prefer this area more than the tourist area because the buildings around are newer, when you walk around, you feel safe.

The hotel is located next to shopping mall with a supermarket. For moslem travelers, in front of the hotel there is a halal restaurant called “Yilan Beef Noodles” owned and operated by Chinese moslem family. The restaurant doesn’t just sell noodles… there ara variety of food (including fried rice, stews, vegetables, etc) But, the best goes to steam mutton Mongolian/Tibetan style cooked 👍🏼 very tender, juice and the aroma of the herbs (maybe ginseng etc). The owner and cook are very welcoming and helpful… for info… I am Indonesian… I don’t speak Chinese at all… just with the help of google translate 😁 Will love to be back to the restaurant one day
I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Hyatt Regency Xiamen Wuyuanwan. The hotel ticks all the right boxes — modern rooms, warm service, and a very convenient location. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a large bathtub and a comfortable bed. The view of the bay was a nice bonus, and despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and well soundproofed. Service from the hotel staff was professional and attentive throughout. Whether it was the front desk, concierge, or housekeeping, everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful, which made the stay all the more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet — a good variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, including a noodle station. Everything was fresh and tasty, though I do agree that the price is slightly on the high side if breakfast isn’t included in the room rate. What I especially appreciated was the hotel’s location right next to 湾悦城, a modern mall with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants. It made it very convenient to grab a quick bite, do some shopping, or just take a stroll in the evening without needing to venture far. The area also offers easy access to public transport, including metro and BRT, and is just a short drive from the airport. Overall, Hyatt Regency Wuyuanwan is a great base for exploring Xiamen, whether you’re here for business or leisure.
