Definitely not a 5-star hotel. The experience fell short from the moment we arrived: there was no concierge available to assist with luggage, no proper seating area in the lobby, and every available space seemed to be rented out. We even had an argument with one of the wine shop owners because of the limited space and overcrowded layout.
Overall, there is a lot of hype but not the level of service, comfort, or atmosphere you would expect from a true 5-star hotel. I would not recommend it.
Very nice breaky in the morning! Views also ok but bonus is central to downtown location. Heavy traffic if you travel by car, rather take metro. Staff not best in english, but it ok. Recommended! Value for money!
The location is convenient, walking distance to West Lake. On the way there, you can visit many shopping malls.
The staff at the hotel are very helpful. They helped to hail taxis for us & also provided useful information. The rooms are clean.
The hotel is beautiful and strategically located. The services are too notch and and stands out. Room services, complementary breakfast and warm welcome at the reception of exceptional. There are eateries and malls around the area. It’s got over 15 floors and there wonderful views form these heights. Very amazing
Nice place to stay. Good location, only about 20 minutes by taxi to the train station and 10 minute walk to West lake with lots of shops along the way.
The hotel was slightly dated but still modern enough. The gym not particularly good but if you needed a work out you could do a little. It did have some cardio equipment. The WiFi was average. I had lots of drop outs. Didn't use the restaurant so can't comment.
They have a coffee shop in the lobby which does lousy coffee but pretty standard for china.
No door man around the entrance so getting a taxi can mean walking down to the road. With luggage, that's not so great.
The rooms I thought we fine. A little child I thought and the thermostat is just a dummy, any user change did not change the room temperature.
The both room is a stumbling point. Very small and awkward. The door swings in front of the shower door the toilet right in the middle. For 1 person it's fine. The bedroom is fine in size, they should have made this smaller and the bathroom bigger. Big shower however.
All and all I'd definitely stay here again but if I went back id probably prefer to try somewhere different to see if others are better.
