I enjoyed my stay here, great views over the bay, rooms were clean, air conditioning worked well. Plenty of light in rooms, basically everything had everything needed. Breakfast has vast selection. Most staff spoke enough english it was easy to get by.
Service is rly good. But rooms are really old. Will choose to stay at newer hotels the next time. Didn’t like how old and dull the toilet was. room was really dark also, would be a more pleasant stay if it was brighter.
The rooms are too hot. They won't run the air conditioning to cool the rooms. So friggen frustrating when you are the customer. Revised review.... Rooms still too hot. Dinner buffet is not up to Western standards. The building is nice and new.... Could be better managed. DoubleTree brand tarnished by this location, when compared to other Western hotels in the area which include The Hyatt, The Westin, etc.
The hotel is okay, friendly staff, breakfast has plenty of options, rooms are typical business standard but are not cleaned to well. Complaints have been taken care of but after a few days had to complain again so quality is not consistent (other colleagues had similar experience). Another disadvantage is that the location is far from downtown, it can take easily 30 minutes each way.
Service like never before . Despite the limited English known by the staff they totally went way out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Great rooms . Beautiful views . Clean and organised. Facilities and amenities for everyone . Breakfast was our only issue as we eat halal and there was nothing except for fruit and cereal that we could consume. Nonetheless it was amazing .
