Would highly recommend this old school hotel, as it has excellent guest service and good food quality, aside from its strategic location.

First time at Xiamen with my family and siblings to visit our relatives. Initially upon reaching, disappointed with the room smell and ventilation at block 5. However, upon feedback, the hotel change our room to another room. The room service and morning breakfast is great 👍🏻👍🏻. Specially like to thank Aunty 马俊霞and also 吴凤莲. Their service is fantastic. Thank you 😊.

The hotel is really near to the city centre (you can reach it by walk). All services are near (also the new metro line) and you can book the touristic tour (like the one to the Tulou) directly in the hotel reception. They don't speak english well but they'll try to help you in every manner. The rooms could be better and more modern but they're ok.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, one of the best places to stay in Xiamen City. Most of the rooms are with smoking facility. Foreigners may find their menu unrecognizable, specially if they are vegetarian. Seek help form the hotel stuff regarding what to eat. Some of the dishes contain variety of mushrooms, edible weed and such things. Be aware if you are allergic!
