The Rosedon is definitely a must stay when visiting the island. From the second you check in, you are welcomed with your drink of choice. Rachel and the entire staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. You’re located centrally in the city and there are a few food options on the property. Would highly recommend staying in the Superior rooms.
A unique situation led to this review but I am extremely grateful. Got in late, here to meet family and was essentially stranded due to complication at another hotel, needing a one night stay. Found myself walking alone in the dark, entered the Rosedon which appears as a beautiful boutique-style hotel with a cozy atmosphere and creative design….but most notably I have to express my deepest appreciation to the night manager (Melody?) who heard me scrambling around outside, assisted me to get a room, and took the time to care about my unpredictable situation. She represented this hotel and the people of Bermuda with composure, warmth and kindness - and really saved me this particular night. Thank you so much!!
If you are in Hamilton and looking for a killer dinner spot, you HAVE to check out Clarabell’s (right at the Rosedon Hotel). Honestly, this place is a total gem! 🤤The lowdown:The Pizza: Real wood-fired perfection. Thin crust, crispy edges, and toppings that actually taste fresh. The Truffle pizza and the classic Neapolitan are 10/10. Even if you’ve had pizza in Italy, this spot holds its own! 🇮🇹✨The Vibe: It’s like a secret garden. Super cozy, especially at night when the fairy lights are on. It’s the perfect mix of elegant and laid-back — great for a date or just hanging with friends.The Drinks: Definitely try their cocktails. The mixologists here really know what they’re doing. 🍸Clarabell’s is officially my new favorite on the island. We were so impressed with the Rosedon. The friendliness of the staff and the ‘small family’ vibes made this boutique hotel feel a bespoke experience. The grounds made us feel secluded from the outside world. The location in downtown Hamilton was as convenient as you could get. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, transportation, etc. Good variety of restaurants at the hotel which offers something for everyone. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel if you visit Bermuda!
We had a wonderful stay at Rosedon Hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda. Arriving late one evening, we were warmly welcomed and escorted straight to our garden-level room, which felt inviting from the moment we stepped in. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful details—a vibrant wallpaper accent wall, painted concrete floors for a modern touch, and a cozy sitting nook with wicker chairs and a table. The bed was low and very comfortable (perfect for easy access, though some rooms have standard-height beds). The kitchenette was a nice bonus, with a fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, and complimentary Illy coffee pods. Temperature controls kept everything perfectly comfortable, the large TV was great (even if the remote took a minute to figure out), and the bathroom stood out with its roomy walk-in shower and plenty of counter space. Housekeeping was excellent and daily—something we truly appreciated, especially since it’s becoming less common. We spent most days exploring Bermuda, but returning to the room always felt relaxing and refreshing. The location is ideal: close to Hamilton’s shops and restaurants, with just a pleasant 5-10 minute walk to the main business district and Front Street. Dining on-site was a highlight—we enjoyed outstanding meals at both Huckleberry and Bagels & Brews in their lovely settings. Above all, the staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging. We loved chatting with them and felt so well taken care of. Rosedon perfectly blends boutique charm, great location, and warm Bermudian hospitality. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning!
