Good way to get a view of this nice clean city. Cost 18 Euros Seem to see much of it but its also easy to take one of the other routes as well.
Surprised to to see how much survived WW2 bombing. I though the place had been flattened. Seem to be lots of museum's. Am told the Town Hall is worth a visit!!.
About 30 minutes from Cruise Ship terminal by their shuttle which drops you off by the Town Hall Cunard charge $10.

Decided to do a bus tour as the weather was poor. Bus clean and managed to get the audio working eventually. It was good to get a wider feel for Hamburg and its various sights and attractions. Very enjoyable however my only comment would be that the audio translation was quite limited. The German bus driver literally provided commentary the whole route and this seemed to go down well with the German speaking passengers. A shame but at least we felt we saw a little more of Hamburg.
Stressful and not really multilingual766masoudm

In reality there was loud guide on all the bus speakers in German and other 5 translations from the headsets including English were overpowered by the speakers. The bus driver did not consider a few tourists’ requests to turn down the volume on the bus speakers so the headset could be heard. In fact the bus driver was rude and unpleasant. We tried to hop off and hop on another bus on but unfortunately all tour buses were the same. It was a stressful tour and not worth the money. I do not recommend it if you don’t speak German.

A good overview of the city, others know more about the route planning, for me it was not that logical.
The information was okay so far. The chauffeur was very safe and customer-friendly... Also drives slowly at times, so that you can take pictures.

Route B maritime is spectacular. You can see the fascinating harbor and receive great explanations. The viewpoint at the entrance of the old Elbtunnel is a MUST. Crossing the Köhlbrand Bridge - a fascinating experience. Driver Peter is super friendly and makes it even better. Thank you!
