A very interesting tour, which got up really close to some huge ships! There was plenty to see. The commentary was all in German (fair enough in Germany!) but we used Google translate and mostly kept up.

It was a really fun trip on the south part of the Elbe - the commentary is in German only so this is something worth mentioning. Also sensibly priced drinks on board
This trip only includes the port and none of the canals (as opposed to the description). We also couldn't hear anything from the speakers and the explanations were uninteresting anyway.
Was including going places larger/taller boats could not. I don't speak German so couldn't laugh at the captain's comments when others did. Google Translate didn't even pick up half of it so I just enjoyed the tour.
I haven't explore yet. So it difficult to say. But I would like to learn more about Hamburg City with this tour and meet people.
The Guide was Great. I have Never Been so close to big ships. Fantastic ride. Very useful informations about Hamburg.
Great tour of some canals with enormous old warehouses down the side. Then out into the port to see enormous cruise ships, huge container ships, yachts, naval vessels, rigged ships and even a U-boat. The downsides were the poor directions to the place to collect the ticket (a man at the top of a ramp) and lack of any information in English or map so very hard to know where we were!
We got lucky with our timing as there were only 8 passengers on the barge so there was plenty of room to walk about the deck, at other times I saw these boats full of people! The captain’s commentary was funny, at least what I understood – note that it’s German-only. We were taken round the docks and got close some interesting vessels, as well as got great views of the notable buildings along the banks. The main attraction for me was getting very close to a giant container ship as it was being (un)loaded. It makes you think how large scale these operations go. Time and money well spent, would recommend to anyone interested to learn about the docks and the surrounding area.
With an English guide, you had to do the job yourself. Bring phone, earplugs, and charge with the app. It was therefore the case that half of us did not get a guide they understood
Highly recommended harbor tour in a launch!
It was a great trip through the harbor. The captain, Mr. Sadiq, made unique experiences possible for us. We were close to the largest container ships. His funny remarks rounded off the tour.
Entertaining ride with nice and interesting information. 😀
Pleasant trip with a great deal of interesting information about the Port of Hamburg from someone who knows what they are talking about. A nice experience - I would book it again.

Nice tour around the old warehouses and out into the modern new harbor. The loading of ocean-going ships was worth seeing. However, the guide talked at a fast pace but mostly about how expensive it was to buy apartments in different neighborhoods. The sound was bad and we did not see well under the roof. Thankfully we chose the tour that took an hour and not the one that takes two hours…
Funny captain, very informative, and saw a whole lot. We can only recommend the tour and we would book it again anytime.
We had a lot of fun. Relaxed, informative, and with North German charm and wit. We will definitely do it again
Very personal reception. The boat was not overcrowded, allowing for easy movement between the seating area and the observation platform. Czem's wordy, witty explanations were very entertaining. In between, one could engage in conversation with him. The boat captain willingly allowed the children to look over his shoulder, explained the buttons, and permitted them to press the button to open the lock. This also provided insight into his perspective on the harbor. Next to the huge container ship, we felt like we were in a nutshell. The tour is highly recommended.
Very informative and the captain of "Hansa" was very funny. Especially recommended for German-speaking people. We also greatly appreciate the trust of the barge business, as you had to take the drinks out of the fridge yourself and put the money in a bowl. All in all very good and cheap.
Great tour with real Hamburger Schnack 😉. Totally recommended. We were three and because it is a smaller boat, you immediately feel comfortable if you do not want to be with tens of hundreds of people on one boat.
Very nice harbour tour with Popeye a real hamburger, also former workers in the docks, who holds a lot of anecdotes and expertise and gives everything with hamburger charm to the best. Thanks also to co-helmsman Robin and the rest of the crew Bülow for this beautiful ride.
Interesting comments, good choice of route with different aspects, funny explanations. Unfortunately, a little many financial elements
Eine ca. 1 1/2 h Fahrt durch den Hamburger Hafen mit vielen sehenswerten Punkten. Interessant und entspannend.
Highly recommended!!!! Due to the fact that the barges do not depart directly from the landing piers, the prices are cheaper and the boats are not as full. And I love to go with the old barges and not just any new tourist boats. In addition, Captain "Popeye" has a real idea as a former dock worker and not just reads down general information. Thanks to his entertaining but informative explanations it was totally exciting and I got many new insights. As a hamburger, I have already made some harbour tours. That was the best! Next time we'll be back! Danke, Popeye!
Alles lief reibungslos . Der Kapitän war super nett . Er hat alles sehr gut erzählt . An Bord konnte man Getränke kaufen . Man konnte drinnen oder draussen sitzen .
Vielfältige, gut ausgewählte Strecke. Kompetent, lebendig und witzig vorgetragene Hafenrundfahrt. Sehr empfehlenswert- danke!
Einmaliges Erlebnis, unterhaltsamer Kapitän. Die Fahrt kann ich nur jedem empfehlen! Rundet einen Hamburg- Urlaub perfekt ab.
Very informative! Since we were traveling in a small barge, it was possible - despite the flood - to drive into the Speicherstadt! That was great! Many thanks to "Popeye"!! ;-)
A one-hour harbor cruise in Hamburg's huge harbour. Started in Speicherstadt and then went past shipyards, container port and cruise ships. Skipper was very informative and funny.
An impressive and fascinating experience. Easy and practical access. A discovery that is definitely worth it.
Very enriching visit to the port of Hamburg. However, the meeting point for boarding is unclear. It was enough to mention that the access point is from the wooden bridge and specify the name of the company, that would have avoided stress and waste of time.
Nice entertaining tour of the port of Hamburg. The captain has entertained us excellently. We'll be back!
Authentic, funny and informative!! Great ride with super exciting information about life on and by the water. Questions from the children were answered great and responded sympathetically. A really great experience, I can really recommend it and on the next visit to Hamburg we will do it again 🤩
Were massively approached at the landing piers to make a port tour near Habich. Were there to 5 people and it was called 16.- € per person by the recruiter, with the Hamburg Card. However, they collected 20.-€ per person, which our anxious friend also paid. Didn't find out about him until after the trip, otherwise I would have complained about paying 100.- instead of the 80.-€. The ride was otherwise fine. However, I also find 5.-€ for a small bottle of sparkling water too expensive. Everyone has to decide for themselves, but due to the Waiting time mentioned at the beginning you have a drink on board. So, watch what gets collected.
If you are planning a harbour tour, you should go to a small barge. Because only they can drive through the canals and locks because of the tide. Our trip took a little over 2 hours. It began with the Speicherstadt and then across the Elbe into the container ports and locks back past the shipyards. With the barge you can just see more, because it comes through everywhere. We were thrilled as Hamburgers with our visit from Saxony. Another little tip: Buy drinks beforehand as there is nothing on the barge. Have a good time.
After a long time we made a harbour tour as Hamburgers again. It was really nice and worth it. We were on the Till Abicht with Captain Michael. He made the ride very entertaining, fun and informative. Compliment! The 1-hour drive was quickly extended to 1:40. So everything's fine.
Great harbour tour with Rainer Abicht barge We went on a two-hour barge ride. The boat was a good size, was modern, there were heaters and toilets. But the best was Yannis, our shipman, who drove us for 2 hours through the Speicherstadt and the port of Hamburg. He's extremely funny. He made it very entertaining and entertaining, and yet the facts were not neglected. Even if it got long for our young children, we really liked it.
The ride with the barge was informative and entertaining. The journey through the Speicherstadt with Elbphilharmonie is only possible with the smaller cruise ships.Super
highly recommended is a harbour tour during a visit to Hamburg. The port is somehow the heart of the Old Hanseatic City and established the prosperity of the old Hanseatic merchants
Nice view of Speicherstadt and container port, with beautiful views of Elbphilharmonie, landing piers, etc. Interesting info - with wit but without being intrusive. Family card priced ok.
We chose a smaller ship of the shipping company Meyer for the harbour tour and had a 1-hour informative , but still fun trip to Blankenese, to the container ports and the Elbe Philamony in the best weather.Corona-related enough distance.Cost:18 € More individual than with the big ships or the paddle steamer.Recommended.
