Great private tour with Catherine. Informative, patient. Willing to answer lots of questions and delivered the answers promptly. Only criticism would be the that the food was not wholly German - but that was not in the description of the tour so cannot mark the experience down on that point. We were unsure as to what we would eat but can certainly say that you will not need to eat for some time after the 5 snacks!!Recommended as a good morning or afternoon filler in the Hafen City area. Not too strenuous a pace or lengthy a walk.

It is worth going up to the platform half way up the building to enjoy the view and to admired the impressive architecture of this 2nd landmark of Hamburg. It's just a short walk from nearby Speicherstadt.

We were 2 couples from the U. S.. Catherine was our guide. She was easy going and took her time explaining the history of Hamburg. It was a plus that Catherine was so fluent in English! Catherine went deep into the history of the area and gave great explanation of the revitalization of the urban developing. We talked about architecture and food all in one! The stops we made along the way for tastings offered an amazing mix of delightful treats. We had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the food and even a beer. Interesting tour with great guide Ute. He most spectacular part of the tour was the Elbphilharmonie. With a 360 view of Hamburg harbour and city. The history and the future of Speicherstadt was interesting. Be aware of that the tour was only in German and there was no pre information of this as we booked this through Booking.com.

Eine rundum gelungene Kulinarische Stadtführung durch die Hafen City, Speicherstadt und abschließend auf die Plaza der Elbphilharmonie. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an unseren Tourguide Vanessa, die uns mit ihrer sympathischen Art, ihrem Wissen und ihrer Begeisterung durch die Tour geführt hat. Obwohl wir selbst Hamburger sind haben wir viele interessante und spannende Informationen zur Geschichte der Speicherstadt und die Entstehung der Hafen City erhalten. Hopefully it will reach you! 🤗 We were on the 20th of March from 3pm to 6pm with her. Wonderful weather! We thought it was so nice, just the three of us. Great information, explanations, good conversations. Incredibly this knowledge of her and so loose and relaxed passed on to us. We've seen corners we wouldn't have discovered ourselves. The food stops could not be made in terms of quantity. We went back to Bremen with some well packed leftovers. Everything was delicious. The conclusion on the Elphi Terrace at sunset was the i-Point. Great tour that was fun. Tour guide Jörg picked us up on time and showed us around in a friendly manner and with a lot of knowledge. Besides culture, it is also a culinary tour and really rich. We had a very nice tour. Jörg gave us many impressions and showed us great places. We were also lucky enough to be just two and thus get an exclusive tour , through the Hafencity and very interesting insights into the Speicherstadt. The small treats rounded off the experience. At the end of the guided tour, the tour of the Elbphilharmonie was still on the agenda. Which was very impressive. All in all a very successful experience.

Today we did the culinary tour of Elphi and Hafencity. In Hamburg's gloomy weather, the four of us were exclusively provided with historical and modern history by our top tour guide Ute. Even we as "locals" learned a lot of new things and discovered great places we had never been before. We were also very impressed by the culinary delicacies. All great places that we will definitely visit again. It was a really great tour. Thank you very much Ute for guiding us so well. It's great to explore a city on foot. This tour through the parts of Hamburg that were most interesting to us was perfect all around and we didn't regret it for a second. First of all, to start: Due to the "reunification festivities" in the city, our accommodation being a little outside the city and a very large construction site right at the meeting point, the "Überseequartier" subway station, we were unfortunately 20 minutes late. After contacting the office, we soon had our first contact with our tour guide Katrin (Catherine). She was very keen to make it possible for us to take part. She even waited with the other participants and kept everyone in a good mood so that the other participants at least didn't seem completely angry about the delay. The tour provided a lot of great impressions and information. Thanks to Katrin's extremely friendly and relaxed manner, we were able to enjoy a successful, entertaining event. Katrin was particularly impressive with her expertise on the historical background and various amusing anecdotes. Thank you very much, we would be happy to book another tour!

It was a very interesting tour through the Hafencity with a small group. Andrea, our tour guide, made it very entertaining and gave us plenty of time at the culinary stops. She also had answers to all of our questions!

We were on 28.6.23 with 20 people on the Culinary Tour. Ole our tour guide was mega nice, funny and explained everything wonderfully and enthusiastically to us. It's as good as it gets... A great guy! I was completely satisfied. It was a lot of fun.

Die Gäste konnten bessere Aussagen zur Hafen City machen als der Guide. Es wurde um ca. 30 Minuten überschritten und die letzte 1,5 Stunde hat sich sehr gezogen.

We were a relatively small group and our guide Jörg accompanied us on a very nice and informative tour through HafenCity and Speicherstadt. We learned a lot and also the selected places were good. The composition of the 5 dishes was a bit strange in my eyes, but that is a matter of taste. Sometimes it took a bit of a long time to eat because there was a lot going on around lunchtime. All in all a recommended tour!

Christa, unsere Gästebegleitung, hat uns von Anfang an mit ihrer empathischen Art begeistert und ist auf die Bedürfnisse aller Gäste eingegangen. Andrea was our tour guide, it was a very entertaining interesting and varied tour, Andrea answered all questions and could always represent a connection to the culinary intermediate stations to the current location

Start of the tour very bumpy, as 2 participants came with a long delay and the guide had to make phone calls again and again! The tour itself was very informative, the guide explained everything well, the culinary highlights were rather meagre and measly, drinks were not included. Negative highlight: Visit Elbphilharmonie via outdoor staircase was announced in the program, but had to be omitted, as free tickets were no longer available at the special issuing point and there were long lines at the issuing points immediately in front of the Elbphilharmonie!

It was a great tour of Hamburg. The little things to eat in between were all very delicious and sometimes something different! Our guide Ute was super nice and told us a lot worth knowing. This trip was certainly a highlight of our weekend trip to Hamburg. Also our child (14 years and 17 years) loved it. THANK YOU UTE:)

Yesterday’s tour was very refreshing not only because of the wind. Thanks to the very sympathetic Christa, it wasn't just about the culinary delights, no, you could tell how much she loved Hamburg. Lots of interesting information, loosely conveyed, entertaining and amusing. The three hours passed like a hurry. We had a small group, really nice - they understood each other - a nice experience. The tour was very informative and it was very entertaining due to the various stops in cafes and bistros. Our guide Christa took very good care of us from start to finish, was very warm and was able to answer all our questions. The tour was also a culinary highlight! For vegetarians, there was even always a delicious alternative.

It was a round thing. Even if you already know Hamburg a little, it was very informative, historically interesting and also the snacks very delicious. You can tell Jörg the fun of the job, he made a great trip out of it.

For almost 80 euros for two people and the services offered, I would not book the offer anymore. Better read 5 articles on Wikipedia about Hafencity, visit the Elbphilharmonie with Plaza for free or reserve your ticket online for 2 euros in advance. With the remaining money, you can buy as many food and drinks as you want.

The tour was just great! Very interesting, entertaining and of course super delicious! Jörg is a great guide, with him you have a lot to laugh about, so the tour is twice as much fun, there is no rain disturbing.

Price / performance was disproportionate.The tour of Patricia was fine. She tried very hard to keep the small group happy despite the bad weather. The first stop in the "Schmidtchen" was successful. A piece of tasty quiche was served. At the next three stops, the quality and quantity remained well below our expectations. The last culinary "climax" was not served as advertised in the Störtebeker restaurant of the Elbphilharmonie, but the "further, great pleasure highlight" was just a quarter piece of Franzbrötchen, which was served unkindly on a cardboard tray in the corridor of the Plaza.

There were only two of us with the great company of Anna a very sympathetic guide. She has us with charm and wit into the secrets of Hamburg . Thanks a lot of fun.

Without Christa's phone call, we would have missed the tour. A more precise note from Booking.com would be appropriate here, because near the "Elphis" there is the station of U4 (in our case the right station, but further away) and that of U3 (treewall=the wrong station where we have been waiting for inexpert tourists). The competent and understandable guided tour of Christa through HafenCity and the Elbphilharmonie quickly made us forget the stress. The culinary appetizers on offer were very delicious overall. We used this tour for our company outing. The tour was very nice and not too long. Christa, our tour guide, gave us great information and tips about the new harbour district and Speicherstadt and Elphi. In five small, sweet restaurants we were able to taste delicious food in small portions. The tasting portions were also sufficient. Closing on the platform of the Elphi offered us a great view. A big thank you would like to send to Christa. It was a great day. The tour was a lot of fun for us and we will definitely come back.
