A lovely hotel with excellent service in a really exceptionally lovely location

Unfortunately, this is not how guests should be treated. I booked through American Express Travel / Expedia, including breakfast. At check-out, there was a discrepancy between the amount I had already paid in advance (which was higher) and the hotel’s invoice. Instead of resolving the issue with the booking platform, the staff insisted that I pay for breakfast again. I was even told that, if I refused, I would be “blacklisted.” The room itself was fine, and the view was nice. But the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression. Guests should not be caught in the middle of a billing dispute between a hotel and a booking platform. I expected a more professional and customer-oriented approach for a hotel like this.

It's definitely the kind of destination you'll happily return to — whether for a romantic getaway or a relaxing break in nature. 🌞
