An exceptional choice for a one-night business trip. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed. The room was fantastic—modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable for a restful night. There is plenty of convenient parking available all around the hotel, making it ideal for those traveling by car. Highly recommended for business travelers looking for comfort, peace, and great accessibility.
A good modern hotel with air conditioning. Clean spacious rooms with the best hot chocolate in the package that I have tasted ( confirmed chocoholic)! We stayed there twice coming and going on our road trip. Super nice underground parking, one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Walking distance for many good sights. Some could be a little long if you are not Into walking. We didn't have the breakfast, but Scandic is known for their super good breakfasts. We felt that they were over priced.... just our perspective.
I do not know whats accepted in Germany but here goes. Came for a 3 night business trip. Very nice hotel. I think expensive for what it is, but like I said, I don't know the local prices. Nice little sauna with a comfortable in-between area, and small gym with a single treadmill, some weights and a multi pulling machine. Nice little bar. Immaculately clean. No room service at all after one night (again, maybe that's the way it's done here, hence service 3 stars. Front desk friendly and nice). Bed super soft but surprisingly comfortable. Water pressure very low and not hot enough. TV placed off to the side, a bit weird. (These last maybe just my room). Overall very nice stay but I don't get the high price - hence the 4 stars. But I might be missing something.
Location wise it is walking distance to junfenstige and minitur wunderland. Restaurants nearby. The house keeping is on demand. Pls remember to order your cleaning before 11am. Do buy or bring along your own bathroom slipper. The pillow and mattress is very soft. The breakfast is great especially the bread rolls are my favourite.
I visit this hotel often on business trips and I'm always happy to stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful and their services are always good. The hotel in general and rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Their breakfast is always good, offering a wide variety of food and drinks. When in Hamburg for any reason, I recommend staying at the Scandic !
