Very nice hotel and peaceful in the city center with a very beautiful and huge botanical park and lakes in it, very nice.At the hotel breakfast is very varied with lots of options.There is a beautiful restaurant on the roof of the building that offers a breathtaking view of the whole of Hamburg. The food is excellent,I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a billiards room and other games that were completely free.I went to the gym, which is also great, and also to the spa center, which is very relaxing and beautiful.I had a great time,All praise to the friendly staff and how they met my requests. and I can't wait to come again. We had a really great stay at the Radisson Blu Congressplatz. One of the biggest highlights for me was the housekeeping. Everything was kept exceptionally clean, and the room was comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. The bed was also very comfortable, which made coming back after a long day of exploring a real treat.
The breakfast was excellent for a hotel buffet. There was a good variety of options, and it was a great way to start the morning. The staff throughout the hotel were also quick, kind, and helpful, which made the stay feel easy and welcoming.
The location was another huge plus. It’s very close to two train stations, making it really convenient for getting around, and we never felt like the area was seedy or uncomfortable. There was also plenty of good food nearby, so we had lots of options within easy reach.
Overall, this was a great hotel for our stay. Between the comfortable bed, excellent housekeeping, good breakfast, friendly staff, and convenient location, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again.
Awesome hotel with good food for breakfast as included, very continental, the hotel rooms are nice and one thing which no felt off was, the bathroom has a glass window which can only be blinded from outside, so if someone is using the bathroom , another person can simply open the blind, a question on privacy here , but may be it is common in Europe LOL, but the rooms are well maintained and cleaned
The ambience around the hotel is really good, this hotel is right in front of a DB station, it had StadtRad rented bicycle stands right above, a big flower park right next to it and commercial places very nearby, the Alster late is in the vicinity and barely takes a 6 minute walk
Splendidly located and made our trip worth the stay, will definitely stay here again. I have posted the view from my room window, an amazing thing to wake up to if you get your room in one of the top most floors, very recommended.
I stay at this hotel often and the staff are ALWAYS INCREDIBLE. On this visit we met Yadi who was so warm, welcoming and has the most engaging personality and smile. He was in the bar. He looked after us Monday as we were sat outside. We were greeted by Armando for breakfast who was so welcoming, helpful and always smiling. Made our breakfast very special! I cannot recommend this hotel enough when they have staff like Yadi and Armando. They are a credit to your team, hotel and ethos of the Radisson Brand. Thank you for everything. I have had the occasion to stay at this hotel several times travelling as air crew and I've always had a very enjoyable stay.
This hotel itself it's quite iconic since it's located very close to the old town of Hamburg, just next to Dammtor train station, Stephansplatz metro station and directly linked to the Congress Center Hamburg, and it's itself one of the tallest buildings of the entire city.
All the interiors are very modern and smartly organised.
Rooms are quite spacious, clean and furnished with all comforts. Not very silent I have to admit, since you can easily hear what is going on in the corridor and the lift moving up and down, at least in some of them.
Leisure club is quite nice, furnished with machines and equipment to do most of the cardio and basic weight workouts, a better selection of dumbells and a rack for pull-ups and dips would be recommended.
Very appreciated as well is the sauna and the steam room.
Breakfast buffet is simply amazing, with a huge selection among savoury, sweet and healthy options.
Don't take me wrong, but from an international environment like Radisson Blue in Hamburg, I would expect a bit more international cusine. Relaying everything on middle Eastern cusine, both in Balustine restaurant and in Rooftop Lounge as well, it's a bit "limitating", maybe some fusion cusine would be more recommended.
Tuna tartare's taste was completely covered by the overdressing tahini sauce, on the other hand steak was perfectly cooked.
Staff has always been very polite and professional.
Strongly recommended hotel.
