Mercure Hotel Hamburg Mitte

We stayed at Mercure Hamburg Mitte as a family and booked two rooms. In both rooms, the beds were exceptionally comfortable – honestly the best hotel beds we have ever slept in. We had an amazing night's sleep every night and woke up feeling truly rested. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. There is a beautiful park directly across the street, perfect for a relaxing walk, and the hotel has good public transport connections, making it easy to explore Hamburg. The only minor downside was that we could sometimes hear other guests through the room door from the corridor, so the sound insulation could be improved. Overall, a wonderful stay with outstanding comfort, a fantastic breakfast, and a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Generally good experience. Staff were excellent. No bar fridge. I was on third floor, overlooking the busy intersection. Traffic noise was significant. In their room descriptions, they say rooms are soundproof. Not the case. Other little things like the basin tap is short and you get water all over the bench when washing your hands. WiFi was great.

Mercure hotel in Hamburg is one of the best hotels we've stayed at overseas. We did not experience any language barriers, the staff were friendly and gracious, and the room, although small, was kept clean. The location was perfect for us. When we return to Hamburg in the future, we will book another room at this location.

Great hotel very clean, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Has level access from the street and 2 lifts. Good location, especially for the flower garden and the conference centre. Staff were fantastically helpful and speak excellent English.
