We were told we were VIP but didn't feel like it. Except for initial welcome staff were friendly and helpful. Location to the city was great. Room was below par. Bed that had you almost falling off as mattress clearly needed renewing. No telephone. Industrial decor went a bit too far. Generally a nice place to stay. Revisited this hotel 3 weeks later as we precooked. Couldn’t get room until 3.40pm. Two single beds. Poor breakfast room management. Arrived for breakfast at 10.am. Had to ask for spoons to be replaced then for milk. No croissants, muffins, pancakes. Food was not replaced for guests, seemed have. More focus on clearing tables than replenishing food stocks. 52 euro for cereal, toast and a cup of tea compared to restaurant night before 64euro for 2 veal schnitzels and large wine with great service. Maybe kitchen staff could learn something from dinner staff. Overall a disappointing stay. They even tried to charge a 2 year a full breakfast charge when her mother only shared her breakfast with the child. Very poor!!!!

This hotel has NO AIR CONDITIONING only a fan and heating system. Very poor sleep. Rooms are hot at night so unless you like sweating you'll be forced to open the window letting in light and traffic noise. My room had a weird metal container like on a truck for the fridge and wardrobe. Totally impractical and just a waste of the hotel money. Makes loud metal clanking noises to open it. The curtain arrangement let's in lots of light so the room is never dark anyway and youll be woken up by light in the morning. This hotel is advertised as having air conditioning which is a lie and false advertising. Would never have booked this hotel if I'd known it has no AC. How can a hotel of this standard be like this?? I left after 1 night and cancelled the rest of my stay. Cannot recommend this hotel.
There was attention to detail like the headboard, shipping containers, etc. However, it was hard to close the room door; it would bang every time you gave it a push. On a side of the bed, there were only usb charger sockets (that didn't work in room 231). So i woke up to an uncharged phone. We were in a privilege room (not facing the street). Could hear some traffic with the windows opened but it didn't affect my sleep. You walk past quite a lot of druggies and homeless people when going to the city centre. I'd not recommend it to a lone female traveller. Parking is 28 eur per night. Parking on the street quite near to the hotel was 12 eur per day. I liked tt they had sanitizers beside the lift.
Milena made our stay even more enjoyable with her exceptional service. She was warm, welcoming, and highly professional during both check-in and check-out. Everything was handled efficiently, and she made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail truly stood out. Thank you, Milena, for your fantastic hospitality—we hope to see you again on our next visit!
Staff at reception were great at both check-in and check-out. We loved the maritime room decor (the closet and mini bar were noisy to open and close). Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable king sized bed. Car park is available on site for €28/day. There are spaces in front of the hotel and more located in the secured underground garage. Spaces in the garage are narrow but manageable. We did enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
