I can't judge the rooms as we only went to spend the day with the kids there.... I must say there is no other place that like this in Hamburg! It's super kid-friendly, very spacious, has learning towers all over the reception for them to somehow feel included. The space for babies is really small but the playground for small kids is really cool and as parent you don't feel like running all over the place to avoid kids taking stuff they shouldn't be playing with. It was a pleasant surprise :) The only thing that could improve is the menu :p there aren't that many options. Otherwise top!

My stay at the hotel in Hamburg was very pleasant overall. The large and spacious room, with its modern furnishings and contemporary amenities, was a particular highlight. I also appreciated how well the sleeping area was insulated from outside noise, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep despite the city location. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair and reasonable. The only slight drawback was that the desk could have been a bit larger for extended work sessions – however, this is a personal preference and not a real criticism. I would especially like to commend the friendly and professional staff. Both in general service and in the restaurant in the evening, questions were answered competently and courteously. As a guest, I felt well taken care of at all times. The food, including the dishes offered in the evening, was perfectly acceptable and complemented the overall ambiance of the hotel. All in all, a modern, comfortable hotel with good service, fair prices, and a peaceful atmosphere – I would gladly stay again.
Excellent location, walking distance down the canal to the office, famous opera house, Westfield Mall, water-front, theaters, Elbtunnel and more! Friendly and curious staff, a nice combination which could not be more genuine. Shout-out to Valeria! Keep in mind that if you should choose to take a taxi to the airport during rush hour traffic, you may want to consider taking the train instead. 48Euro vs. 4Euro and it's about the same amount of time and certainly less frustrating. Also, you should know that there are two locations where taxi's wait to pick up guests, one is by the pirate ship on the side of the building and the other is in the street directly in front of the entrance. Confirm where your taxi will be waiting for you. I lost 20 minutes of time waiting for the taxi driver (who was already in the hotel waiting for us but not in the location I was told he would be waiting), booking an Uber, then cancelling once connecting with the driver. Despite this little mix-up at the end, it was a really enjoyable stay. Rooms have a maritime look and feel, simple, clean and functional. Window open inward from the top which is nice for fresh air. Shower was extremely powerful and immediately hot, exactly what a shower should be! Breakfast was extensive, with multiple choices of coffee machines, rarely did I need to wait in line for coffee, even when I hit the rush on one day. BTW, the times for breakfast and typical amount of patrons per time slot are clearly stated in the elevator with stop light indicator. If I could comment on one item which I believe could be improved, it was the amount of staff at the desk when it was time to check out. Wait times could lead to a bit of frustration. Suggestions for improvement: have a floating person to answer questions which are not related to check-out; and ask for information such as, "Do you need to have the company name and address on the invoice?" at the check-in, not the check-out. If there were QR codes to check-out in advance, I missed them because I'd have used them. Overall, it was a great value for the money in a great location. I'll pick it as my first-choice next visit to Hamburg!
I have been a guest at the hotel this month. I didnt feel welcomed as a guest and the front desk was not friendly, Mr Hamid. Every single thing i needed to ask instead of full clarification about the hotel. If i ask , the staff member got annoyed. Rooms facing the street are in front of the railway, which is noisy, and rooms at the backside are facing the harbour, constant sirenes and cranes operating throughout the night. This is not their faul but its a fact. For the price i didnt think its worth.
we stayed at this hotel for a sightseeing trip to Hamburg. the location is wonderful by the river with a bus stop and subway station right outside, parking on site and plenty of shops and cafés nearby. walking around after dark, we were not worried about safety precautions at all. the lobby is spacious and welcoming and we were satisfied with our room too, which has all the usual amenities including a teakettle, a small refrigerator and a safe in the closet. however, our nights were not as quiet as I would have preferred them to be. I'd never complain about children being noisy with this place being a family hotel, but I do wish to complain about the railways visible from our room's windows. we heard every train passing by starting before dawn. and if I'm fully honest, I don't think the breakfast buffet was worth the price either, so I'm glad we didn't book dinner. overall, our stay was okay, but I wouldn't wish to return.
