Clean and modern room. Great breakfast and have good location. A bit out of the center buy could reach anywhere by 20 mins walk to the lake.

I genuinely thought I had stepped back into the 1980’s when I stayed here. Dated hotel. Room was clean and service was good. Breakfast was good and staff attentive. Much better hotels available in Hamburg in my opinion
Very basic hotel, not sure why it claims to be 5 stars. Looks like a hospital, location is ok but not great: a lot of traffic, ugly surroundings. Ubahn is still 20mins away. Breakfast is ok, but definitely not amazing like others stated. If this was advertised as a budget, 3 stars hotel, no complaints. But claiming to be 5 stars, with 5 star prices, I'm sorry but it's a scam.
Disappointing New Year’s Eve Experience Despite a Nice Hotel We stayed at this hotel over New Year’s Eve. The rooms are really nice, the building itself is great, and the reception staff was excellent — friendly, professional, and very helpful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. We attended the New Year’s Eve party at the hotel bar, for which we paid €50 per person for the entry ticket. In return, we received nothing — no included drinks (possibly a glass of champagne at 00:00 but at that time we weren't there), no snacks, no special service. The DJ was extremely loud, making it unpleasant rather than festive, and due to the strong interior lighting, it was impossible to see the city or fireworks, even though the bar is located on the 11th floor. After also paying €10 for a single glass of wine, we decided to leave early. In the end, we watched the fireworks from our own hotel room, where we could at least turn off the lights and actually see something — which turned out to be the best part of the evening. The party itself felt overpriced and poorly thought through, and honestly, we felt scammed. Another major issue was the breakfast experience. Every morning, the waiters constantly interrupted us — removing cutlery, plates, or glasses every 3 minutes, even while we were still eating. Instead of feeling welcome, we felt rushed and uncomfortable. This is not attentive service; it’s intrusive and unprofessional. Summary: The hotel has great potential — nice rooms, a great building, and excellent reception staff. However, the New Year’s Eve party was a major disappointment, and the restaurant service lacks basic hospitality skills. Proper training on how to serve guests respectfully and create a welcoming atmosphere is urgently needed.
This was not the first time we stayed here and perhaps would choose it again. Service: very kind and helpful reception. Breakfast service is also very helpful and nice. You are always greatest with a smile. Room: nice and clean, anything you might require for your visit. Breakfast: there are plenty of options for any tooth. There's all you need to start a healthy day. Parking: a very convenient service for a hotel in a busy area. Quite confusing to get there especially with all the construction work around. The only inconvenience is that the restaurant wasn't working so we had to look for a place to have dinner. Which ended up actually a good thing because we found a wonderful restaurant "Werft" around the corner.
