About the Clipper Lounge: Came for the food, left as an old wise soul with a head full of 40s classics and memories of a life in the 40s that I never lived (I am in my 20s btw) You have changed me, and I will dearly look back on these good old days.
This hotel was very good. I recommend it.
Good family room with 4 beds. Train station nearby for downtown visit
We paid 130 euros for one night, 16 euros for one night parking. Looking at the amount of money we paid, I dont think we got the quality we expected. The surroundings of the hotel was not so nice. There were good restaurant options though. It takes about 20-30 mins to go to the centre, there are no good pubs around. As the others commented, there is no AC and when you open the windows, it is very loud. The bed was comfortable, the people working there were helpful. Overall, our experience was not worth the money we paid.
The hotel is old and needs some maintenance. It has an old-style television, the carpets are not clean, and I even found an old undershirt in the room I stayed in. There was also an issue with the technical team trying to enter my room without knocking
