Needed a room at 2am after flight cancellation at midnight, very helpful receptionist and lovely lounge area, very clean, Room was great, 12pm checkout too. After 2hrs of walking from airport and asking every hotel for room along the way, was very glad to have found this one. 10/10 hotel, thank you. *seems to be slap bang in between airport and city centre too, location wise.
I stayed at the Dorint recently and was treated rudely by a staff member (man with long hair in a bun) during the check-in process. I found this surprising because all of the other staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food I ate at the bar, and the room was decent except for pillows that completely flatten when you rest your head on them. Overall 3/5 experience.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet room. Perfectly located for our purposes, i.e. appointments at UKE. A bus away (or 15 to 20 mins walk away) from different restaurants
I have to stay here for business trips due to the location of the hotel. The highlight of my trips is always Frederik who works in the bar. He has the ability to brighten anyone’s day. As for downsides, the hotel could really do with having better pillows!
From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel was clean, and the service throughout our stay was exceptional. Unlike many corporate-style hotels, this one had a more personal and relaxed feel, which we really appreciated. We stayed in a Suite that was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities—including coffee, tea, bottled water, slippers, and robes for the Sauna. Everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide and delicious selection. My wife, who is vegetarian, was especially pleased with the variety of options available to her. Our only regret was that we had booked for just one night. We’ll definitely be returning!
