Although we didn't stay here, we can for a light lunch, having reserved a table for dinner. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our waitress was wonderful, and advised us on portion size, etc. All the staff spoke very good English, and the decor is very pleasing. I would recommend this hotel and its facilities to any needing accomodation or food in the Hamburg Airport area
Everything is in order. Spacious and well decorated room. Breakfast has good selection and serves good coffee too. Unfortunately the pool temperature was a little cold even in mid summer.
I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott near Hamburg Airport and I was very pleased. From the outside, the building has a rather antique, retro style, but once inside, you are pleasantly surprised: it’s modern, well-finished, and seems to have been recently renovated. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the airport, the rooms are quiet and modern, and the staff is professional. I also used the sauna and the pool, both very enjoyable and relaxing. From various reviews, it appears there are extra costs, such as for breakfast, but I chose the all-inclusive package, which included breakfast, so I had no surprises. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for those seeking a hotel close to the terminal, with a modern touch hidden behind a vintage exterior."
One of my favorite hotels in Hamburg. Location is very convenient: close to Airport but also to the subway downtown. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the service is great. I especially love the sauna and spa area. The only downside is the gym room. The machines are very old and often disfunctional. Only has one pair of old adjustable dumbbells with few plates and no bench. If you value a well equipped gym you will be disappointed. If the hotel gets a good set of dumbbells, adjustable bench and pull up bar I would easily give 5 stars
A surprisingly nice Marriott for an airport property. The staff is polite and helpful. The restaurant is just average, but the cocktail menu is diverse and tasty. The rooms are pretty standard for a Marriott. The property itself has (unfortunately) been in a constant state of repair/construction (at least during my two visits in 2025-present). The elevator isn't working, so you'll need to walk up several flights of stairs, if you're on a higher floor. Hopefully, that's resolved soon. The real gem, though, is the pool/sauna area. It's clean and well-maintained, and offers two saunas (standard and Finnish), steam room, cold plunge, and a heated pool. It's a very nice perk for a wary traveler. Massage services are also available. Highly recommend for a long layover at Hamburg airport.
