If you are looking for a day cruise in Ha Long Bay that combines breathtaking scenery with world-class hospitality, this is the one to book. ​From the moment we stepped on board, the "finesse" of this operation was on full display. We were welcomed with a beautiful live guitar performance and a shower of rose petals—a personal touch that made us feel special right from the beginning. Unlike other tours, they provided a professional presentation and a clear, printed itinerary so we knew exactly what to expect for the day. ​The highlights were endless: ​The Adventure: Exploring the stunning caves by boat, spotting monkeys in their natural habitat, and enjoying time in the water canoeing and swimming. ​The Food & Drink: The meals and evening snacks were delicious, and the service was attentive throughout. ​The Entertainment: The staff is incredibly talented! If you want a day cruise, this is for YOU! We loved it and all the staff were amazing! Shout out to Qyuen (hopefully I’m spelling her name right, she’s have glasses and cute bangs). Sweetest staff, we were ordering drinks with her and as soon as she saw our glasses was empty, already walking over to ask us if we want to order more! Drinks on board are SO affordable ( would have probably paid hundreds back in US, only cost is like $40 ). The row boat to cave was amazing, we were just taking it all in how beautiful it is. Also if you are able too, please tip your rowing person, it such hard work! The only thing is there’ll be other tourists on board that don’t understand being a decent and kind person. They feel like they are entitled and treating the staff unfriendly. When the ship manager was giving safety and tour briefly they kept interrupting and talking over him (was so rude, they were group of like 20 people). Staff so patience with them! Also the staff was so amazing with everyone dietary restrictions, I have no ideas why these group was so chaotic, all of them were vegetarian and when staff bought out their special food to their tables, they complained that the buffet station was all either meats or seafood! I almost lost it and said something to them. Staff already catering to them and send plenty of food to their table, but the complaining about the buffet stations for the tourist on the board was CEAZY! But I do want to shoutout to Denmark, my family and I shared the row boat with them, nicest people! But overall please book this if you are able too!

Was an amazing day out, every comfort was catered for. Food was delicious. Staff were super attentive, Bella made our day extra special and provided great service. Kelvin is also a great host!

We had a great time today on the day long cruise. Lovely, serene journey. All staff were excellent and they even arranged a surprise cake and sing a long for my wife’s birthday! Food and activities were all excellent - and the rowing boat trip under the rocks to the lagoon was a highlight. All organisation was 10/10 and happy hour drinks were expertly delivered by our lovely waitress Le Quyen. We even had free professional photos taken by the lead organiser.

A fabulous day out with Jade Sails to Halong Bay. Picked up in luxury limo from our hotel and driven to luxurious boat. Staff were absolutely delightful, in particular Vinny and Lily. Great itinerary- very good mix of delicious lunch , relaxing time and activities. Of course the scenery stunning and beautiful to see from deck. Highly recommend this tour. More expensive than other trips but promise it’s worth it.

We had a wonderful experience. The staff provided white glove service. The views are stunning. You cruise for a bit then park and have the option to either kayak or hop in a boat (paddled by a local) to go see a cave and a cove that had very few people in it. We really enjoyed this and it was a great way to see the beauty of Ha Long. Shout out to Le Quyen for great service! You won’t regret booking this. Note: the jacuzzi was not heated and far too cold to use. Also they stop for 30 minutes on the way to the ship at a local pearl market in hopes that you will buy things. Sort of annoying but that seems to be the way things go in Vietnamese tours as this has happened on each of our tours.

Ha long bay My sister, daughter, granddaughter and I had a wonderful cruise today. The food was delicious, great timing for all the activities, fun entertainment and excellent service. We want to give a shout out to crew member, Otis. Otis made sure we knew what was happening, brought us treats and took care of us on the tour. If you have 1 day in Halong Bay this is the tour......beautiful boat, friendly staff, wonderful lunch, caves, swimming, cooking class, live band, incredible scenery.....this tour takes you where other tours don't......secluded area for great photos......highly recommend

Amazing day spent at Halong Bay despite it being cloudy. Everything was conducted as per schedule and the staff went above and beyond to provide great service (including providing extras like blankets for the sunbeds on a cold day). I really enjoyed the variety of the buffet lunch which was first class cuisine yet local food and the rowboat excursion to the Lan Ha bay caves. All in all, really nice day spent seeing the beauty of the bays. Well worth the price.

My first review on TA all because of 1 man, Calvin (Cuong), cruise manager on 26th Dec. My 8 yo son had motion sickness 15 min into the trip and started throwing up. While the other staff were busy with their duties, Calvin the cruise manager, who was likely the busiest of the lot, rushed to get us cold towels, served on a tray! Cleaned up the mess we made (3 times!) and found us motion sickness pills. All done with a smile and a look of empathy. Quite a feat. Eventually we gave up the fight snd asked to be transported back to land. The usual fee for that as I learnt, is USD120. Calvin however, called back to head office and got approval to transport us back for free. He arranged a warm blanket for my son and personally escorted us on board and waved us goodbye with his now famous empathetic smile. What a guy! The cruise had 75 guests which was near capacity and while there were some minor issues, it was more than made up for by the attitude of its manager who honestly went over and beyond usual good service. Thank you so much Calvin! You’re a star!

The staff went above and beyond to make the trip comfortable and enjoyable. They even catered to a vegetarian diet. The boat is beautiful! The scenery is magnificent. Just a very enjoyable day in Halong Bay!

This Jadesails 1 day tour or Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay was just an Awesomely Amazing way to see the natural wonder of this region. The tour was very well orchestrated and the communication was excellent. We opted for the luxury limo pickup and started the tour with a visit to the Vietnam Pearl market where you can see how they produce the pearls. There was also authentic crocodile and silk items for purchase that were simply beautiful. The cruise was filled with great food, live band, bamboo cruise around some of the mountainous islands and swimming in the beautiful bay. The cruise ship was very well maintained with great deck seating, hot tub and designated male and female showers and wash rooms. Well worth the time to see this natural wonder on THIS cruise. Professional photos on the ship are also included. TIP: Take cash for tips and shopping and wear/take a bathing suit for kayaking or swimming.

This was a very lovely day. The boat is very clean and the staff the absolute best. I enjoyed the cruise very much, although it could have been shorter. The buffet was nice, but my best meal in Viet Nam was the chef on the 2nd floor that made us grilled fish with noodles. The activity in the canoe was nice. The view was so lovely. However I do suggest the travel companies get together and clean up the styrofoam and other trash floating in the water. The limo was very clean and the driver was good. All the staff were amazing, especially Vinny and Bella.

Amazing cruise the price was more than other tours but it was a luxury cruise. We were all vegetarians and they catered for us. It’s the eye for detail which makes it special. Worth the price.

Boat was excellent - fantastic amenities and staff. Food at lunch was delicious. Air conditioning was a huge bonus after sitting upstairs on the sun loungers. Vinny was great at leading the tour. We enjoyed the row boat through the cave which was unlike anything we’ve seen before and we weren’t expecting to see bats! Kayaking and swimming was great fun, plenty of time to enjoy the activities without feeling rushed. The boat had good toilet facilities, and space you could use to change out of wet clothes. Towels were provided. Drinks were very reasonably priced. The ‘tea’ in the afternoon exceeded our expectations with delicious spring rolls and cakes. Would absolutely recommend!

The pick up was on time and the van was great! Massage/reclining chairsa ND safe drive. The cruise was fully booked when we went but you never felt crowded. The boat was amazing. The food for lunch excellent and the activities great fun. We would really recommend this tour!

This was by far the nicest day cruise I've experienced, and an incredible value for what you're getting. Some key highlights: - The crew was incredibly friendly, they make every guest feel welcome. They even offer to take professional photos for free and send them directly to you before leaving the boat. - The food was delicious, we asked for the vegetarian option and the crew provided us with more than we could eat. - The spot they stopped at for swimming/kayaking was so beautiful, and the highlight of the tour for us. Highly recommend, especially over other tours that only stop at the most popular and crowded spots.

Excellent day trip with Jadesails. We were so lucky as only 10 of us yet we received full welcoming & service! Food - 10/10 excellent in terms of quality, taste and variety! Cruise ship - 10/10 big, spacious, modern and clean. 3 levels with jacuzzi & gym with shower facilities. (I picked Jadesails as i heard it was one of the newer cruise ships less crowded too). Activities - 10/10 - Thought 7 hours on board would be quite long but actually it worked out perfect - lunch & all the activities - bamboo boat through the caves, kayaking, swimming, live band, happy hour! Even the locations where we docked were quiet & exclusive. Swimming & kayaking was so beautiful & peaceful. Not sure whether it wld b like this peak season tho. Staff - 10/10 we were well looked after by Calvin & David and their team ♥️ kudos to the live band who also multi tasked in F & B and back flip diving 🤣 Def recommend Jadesails!

The van was really comfortable, the food was great, the crew was very attentive, and we got ample opportunities for enjoying the beautiful scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew.

So worth the money! The boat was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the live music was such a nice touch. They stop in such a beautiful spot for a swim and serve some of the best food I had in Vietnam. Would for sure book again!

Picked up from hotel, at pre arranged time, in very clean, comfortable mini bus with only 6 others, and taken 2hr drive straight to marina. Marina area a bit like a depressing ghost town with half built, empty buildings all around but offered cool drinks or coffee in the nice reception lounge for the boat before greeted onboard by the lovely crew with a single rose for everyone. Boat very clean and absolutely beautiful- definitely the most luxurious in the bay! The facilities are like a 5* hotel. Cruise through Halong Bay is outstandingly scenic whatever the weather, staff couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful, itinerary is great fun with row boat through caves, swimming and kayaking in a lagoon and even a lesson on how to make traditional spring rolls, all included. Lunch is a fabulous affair with a plentiful, wide selection on offer and catered for all dietary needs. Late afternoon tea on the sundeck with fruit snacks and cakes is also great. The well stocked bar onboard is the only added expense and their happy hour with 2 for the price of 1 drinks and cocktails on the cruise back to port is much appreciated. Can’t praise the crew enough as all very courteous and helpful with special mention to the fantastic cruise director( sorry but can’t remember his name!) A fantastic, well organised day trip, well worth the money and we thoroughly recommend to everyone.

Really enjoyable day cruise round Halong Bay, relaxing, but including fun activities such as rowing boats through caves, kayaking, swimming and Vietnamese spring-roll making. Excellent food included, and a full pay-bar on board. Charming staff. Thoroughly recommended, we were based in Halong so didn’t have far to travel to the marina, but most participants on our cruise came from Hanoi with the optional transport included.

I was first attracted to Ha Long Bay by the film « Indochine ». Sailing by Jadesails, I got a chance to explore its beauty by traversing its cave on a sampan and a kayak. Amid its tranquility, I was totally detoxed, feeling instantaneously at rest with no progress of time. Thanks to this trip, I have a motivation to reorder the priority of my life. This trip offers a tipping balance between being solo and in a group. I find it very nurturing and relaxing.

Excellent organisation from pick up to bringing us back to the hotel. Thet boat was really very nice, with a group of around 25 people on the sail boat we had time to relax and enjoy the bay from the beginning till the end. The activities like boating, kayaking and swimming were also nice and in areas with no other big groups. Costs more than the average tour but it is really worth it.

I enjoyed the trip but it wasn’t suitable for older people regarding access and egress from the boat . The steps onto the boat were unstable no hand rail. I wasn’t able to swim in the bay because there was no suitable way of getting on and off the boat . However the staff were lovely and it was an enjoyable day

We had an amazing experience with Jade Sails, doing a day cruise with a group of friends. The staff were incredibly friendly, thanks to Ha and loan for providing exceptional hospitality to us. We enjoyed the itinerary which included kayaking, boat ride and swimming, as well as a delicious buffet lunch. I would highly recommend Jade Sails, thanks very much!

Good quality vs other operators, but overall this is extremely touristy and overrated (they also charge quite high prices on board) - better to go to Thailand and you get equally good views in Phuket but water is much cleaner since they don’t allow bigger boats and way more relaxing / less crowded

Not only was it as luxurious as promised, the staff did everything they possibly could to make the day perfect. I’m vegetarian and received a whole assortment of dishes during lunch as well as vegetarian spring rolls for the sunset party. The bamboo boat, kayaking and swimming was extremely enjoyable! The foggy weather made it extra mystical. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone willing to have a relaxing cruise day through Ha Long Bay. Thank you again!

La navette est venue nous chercher à notre hôtel dans le vieux Hanoï, des bouteilles d'eaux sont mises à disposition. 8 places disponibles, si vous avez la possibilité, prenez les fauteuils qui sont super confortables ! Après 2h de route, nous avons fait une pause dans une boutique touristique de perles de culture (pas nécessaire selon moi). 20 mins plus tard on arrive au port, puis on embarque à bord du bateau. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de la part du staff, le bateau est très confortable, spacieux et conforme à nos attentes pour une croisière 'luxe' (fleurs fraiches, beaux matériaux, toilettes japonaises...). Tout était propre, pensé pour que chaque visiteur passe un bon moment. Le chef de la croisière Viny, était extrêmement sympathique, il parlait très bien l'anglais ! Le staff de manière générale était aux petits soins, ce qui était vraiment très agréable. Après le briefing, nous sommes en route. Bien que le temps n'était pas trop de la partie, les paysages étaient superbes ! Point positif de faire cette croisière l'hiver, nous sommes tranquilles pour profiter des paysages car il y a très peu de bateaux qui naviguent. Ensuite nous avons déjeuné, le buffet est varié, avec des spécialités vietnamiennes (spring rolls, soupes...) mais aussi des produits plus internationaux (frites, saucisses, pain...). Minuscule point noir, pas assez de dessert, tout est parti assez vite... Concernant les activités, nous sommes montés à bord de bateaux en bois, des locaux nous ont emmenés jusqu'à la "Dark & Light Cave". Moment de calme absolu, les paysages sont impressionnants. Nous n'avons pas fait de kayak, pas de baignade, ni profité du jacuzzi à l'avant du bateau car il faisait trop froid, mais par beau temps c'est à faire ! (NB : des douches sont à disposition dans les sanitaires pour se rincer et ils fournissent également les serviettes) Néanmoins, nous avons participé à l'activité "fried spring rolls" avec le chef cuisinier. C'était super, très ludique et on repart avec la recette pour la refaire chez nous ! Vraiment top !! Fin de la balade, on rentre au port vers 17h30 pour prendre la navette et rentrer sur Hanoï. Globalement, la journée était bien orchestrée, le programme a été parfaitement respecté et exécuté ! Un personnel à l'écoute et aux petits soins, un bateau super confortable, une journée de repos dans le calme et dans un cadre idyllique, on recommande !!
