We went on a private boat tour a couple of days ago with Cherry. Cherry was so professional and very knowledgeable about the area and just lovely to spend time with. The private tour suited us but there is plenty of space on the boat if doing this as a group. Sights were stunning and we’d recommend this to anyone.

Steven provided a wonderful tour in the short amount of time we had. A lot pushed into 4 hours. The caves were amazing the boat ride was on point. Kayaking was like being on a different planet. Steven was able to make it all seamless.

Great experience if you only have a couple of hours to enjoy the bay. Steve was a great guide and helped explain the culture and history of the area.

We had a wonderful day on this tour through Halong Bay. Our guide Cheri was so friendly and informative. She made the day so pleasurable. The boat was clean and it was very relaxing. There is a large inside with tables and a rooftop viewing patio. We were taken to see the caves which was beautiful and fascinating. You climb stairs and walk through the beautiful caves. Later you are taken on a small boat through a cave. I would truly recommend this tour. Ask for Cheri !!!

We only had a half day in Halong Bay but Cherry was able to make the most of it for us. We headed out into the bay for an early morning tour and we were able to stay a step ahead of the crowds which made our time at the two caves and on the bamboo boat that much more special. Thank you Cherry.

Good 4 hour cruise to see 2 caves + bamboo boat in the central area of Halong Bay on your private boat. Our guide Cherry/Chung was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was extra at $10 USD per person, and was plentiful. Would recommend for a good use of half a day.

We had a good 4 hour cruise with our guide Chung/Cherry. She was very friendly and professional and made the tour interesting. Having the boat all to my family of six was a very nice experience. Halong Bay was beautiful, and time we went there was very little crowd at the cave and bamboo boat. Food on the boat tour was plentiful and delicious, thanks to the organisation of Windy. Overall would recommend the tour to anyone who only has half a day, definitely would see some beautiful parts of Halong Bay with less crowd

Awesome tour. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a private experience in Halong Bay. No crowded boats or tenders. The staff were very nice and helped us enjoy our experience.

Despite the bad weather we enjoyed our tour. We had a huge boat just for ourselves and our guide Chung made it fun for us. Halong Bay is extraordinary - the caves are interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed the bamboo boat.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Joe communicated clearly before we met up with him. He was on time and easy to find as we began the tour. Joe and the seven of us were on our own large boat throughout, which felt quite luxurious. The trip to the caves was straightforward, and the tour through some of the islands after we visited the caves was very scenic. The boat's indoor and outdoor sections work very well for viewing and sitting. The caves are magnificent. The scale and beauty are incredible, and the caves were easy to walk through, with some light climbing of stairs. Joe was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us interesting background information about Vietnam, Halong Bay, and the geological formations. He did an excellent job of balancing keeping an eye on us as we walked through the caves (including looking out for our safety), and giving us the flexibility to move at our own pace without feeling rushed. He shared interesting information throughout, without taking up too much time to do that. We all thought he found the sweet spot in every way. He was also very open to questions. I highly recommend this tour.

A private boat with a guide, what more could you ask for? We visited wonderful caves, did a fun bamboo boat ride and saw incredible scenery. Our guide David was fabulous telling us the history of Halong Bay. The boat crew had ice cold towels, tea and fruit waiting for us after each stop. Again, this a a boat to yourself - just your group. For us there were just two of us. There was a comfortable seating area below and a wonderful lounge area on the top deck. The bathrooms were clean. What more can I say? Why get on a boat with a bunch of strangers fighting for photos when you can get one all to yourself!!! They offer lunch for a very reasonable price also.

Monica was phenomenal! So knowledgeable on the history of the area and sites we visited! She even gave us a bunch of information on the culture from her own personal experiences. We can’t wait to come back and book a tour again with Monica!

Wonderful tour! Our guide met us promptly & led us to our boat. The captain welcomed us aboard & our guide Onah told us stories & gave us history about Halong Bay as we cruised. The scenery was beautiful & exploring the cave was incredible. Our guide was so nice, answered questions, went at our pace & took lots of photos for us. Highly recommend this tour!

The boat ride and caves were amazing. Hueyen is an excellent tour guide. We really enjoyed our time with her. Cave are beautiful and well worth the trip.

Mr. David was our guide for a private tour. He conveniently met us at the cruise port at walked us right outside to the boat. He communicated well in English and was friendly and accommodating. We were able to see caves, took a bamboo boat around a beautiful lagoon, learn about some of the history of Halong Bay and Vietnam. Took a picture of a rock formation that is on their money, the 200,000 dong. Tea and a snack were provided. And we returned well before “all aboard,” which again, was conveniently located at the end of the dock next to where our tour ended. We even had time to go back to the cruise terminal for coffee, before walking back to the cruise ship. Would definitely recommend seeing this UNESCO heritage site, especially if you’re short on time and/or do not want to take the 3-hour car ride to Hanoi.

He got us to our first stop before all the other boats. this was a tremendous advantage. We had a much better tour we got to go to a second cave, and as we were leaving, we saw the mass of people and boats all trying to get to the same location he then took us to another location or again we had another Operator who rode the bamboo boot boat into the lagoon took great pictures got back on our boat. Got back to the ship with plenty of time for afternoon activities. I highly recommend this Private tour or group tour.

This was our second visit to Ha Long Bay, and it was even more wonderful than the first time. We booked the tour with Windy again because he always designs tours that suit us, and his team provides us with enthusiastic support. On this trip, Ha Long Bay offered many new and exciting experiences. Everything is now more modern and beautiful than before. Accompanying us was guide Tom, who spoke English fluently, had knowledge about the tourist sites in Ha Long, and demonstrated professional service. Our family of four booked a private tour to have a guide support us throughout the trip. The check-in process at the counter was very quick because the guide had already contacted and directed us from the start. We went on the morning cruise, so the weather was cool and pleasant for sightseeing. After exploring two caves and kayaking, it was time to rest and have lunch, which was very timely as the weather started to get sunnier and we were quite hungry. The lunch on the boat was plentiful and delicious, with vegetarian options for my husband since he is currently on a diet. The staff on the boat were friendly and cheerful. At the end of the trip, we were truly satisfied. Thanks to Tom and Windy for a wonderful experience even the tour was really short.

Thank you to Vietnam Tour Tailor and our guide Hung for providing us with such wonderful experiences in Ha Long. The car and guide arrived punctually at our cruise ship, which was great because we didn’t have to travel to a crowded meeting point. We were taken aboard a clean wooden boat exclusively for the two of us, and we began a 4-hour tour of the bay. We were lucky that we visited the bay while there were not so many people as they may be afraid of the Yagi storm's destruction. The boat we went to was not in trouble but we did see many of them parking and getting repaired . Both caves were truly beautiful, with limestone formations creating impressive natural sculptures rather than human-made ones. Throughout the trip, Hung was very enthusiastic, sharing interesting details about the caves and the small islands we passed by. Although the schedule was tight, we managed to experience the best sights of Ha Long Bay. Additionally, the lunch on the boat was excellent, featuring fresh seafood and green vegetables, which made the trip truly complete. We had to book lunch the day before the trip and they sent us menus to choose from. Lots of rubbish was still floating on the bay but we saw many boats collecting them on our journey. It would be much better and nicer to come back to Halong bay in the near future and see the greenness of the bay. Overall, we are very satisfied with this trip and appreciate the team very much.

We had a private boat for only 2 of us; the boat was nice and clean. Very large for only 2 of us. We had a great time over Halong bay with this short tour, our guide Tim was excellent and enthusiastic. He explained to us about Halong bay and had great stories about the 2 caves. We chose to visit the tunnel on a small boat rowed by a local villager. Kayaking would be fun but would be quite challenging for the short tour. There was no beach visit in this tour, it is understandable for this short tour. The best part of the tour was the visit to 2 caves, we managed to see both of them. The 2nd cave would be very challenging for older and kids less lighted and decorated.

HaLong Bay is very beautiful. My family had a wonderful experience here. John was our guide and he was enthusiastic and spoke fluent English, meeting our expectations and needs. The experience was well worth the price. We visited both caves, the second cave was larger but not lighted and more adventurous. It was a great experience.

For the first time, we visited Halong Bay, and I was amazed by the beautiful scenery here. Our guide was Wendy, who was very enthusiastic and friendly. She took us to see stunning caves and interestingly shaped rock formations, and he patiently taught me how to kayak. The lunch was delicious and suitable for vegetarians. The trip is definitely worth experiencing.

My fiance and I got a wonderful 4 hours boat tour with the company. We had to get off our ship to walk to the check in counter inside the port to meet our guide. It was not hard but the crowd made us lose some time to find the spot. Our boat was really big and only for 2 of us. We got a journey of 4 hours with the visit to 2 caves. First one was artificially lit up, crowded and noisy but soon after you got out of it to come to the second cave it was quiet and very primitive. We had time to go kayaking; it was exciting and we did have time to enjoy the area on our own. Halong bay landscape was amazing and we had a wonderful time. It was a pity that we did not have enough time to do the longer excursion and the trip was short but it was an amazing experience.
