Our guide was Peter who was very courteous and the communications were excellent. We enjoyed the day. There was a stop at a pearl factory which was quite interesting. Peter was funny and was happy to answer any questions throughout the day. The boat was luxurious with excellent food and reasonably priced drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. There were cheaper options for similar trips but we were glad we chose this one.

I would give this tour 5 stars if it wasn’t for the limousine journey to and from Hanoi. The driver was very erratic and the whole journey was bouncy and uncomfortable. For someone who gets travel sick I would not recommend getting the limousine. It’s disappointing as the description states that it is a luxury limousine with great comfort which is far from the truth. The cruise itself was fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone. The buffet was great and the water activities were too. The staff were excellent and the main tour guide advised that he would speak to the driver to drive more carefully on the way back and did not charge us for our drinks. However, the journey home was actually worse than the way there. I assume the tour guide did not get the chance to speak to him as we left in such a rush which is not his fault.

It was an absolutely amazing experience with an incredible crew. I would highly recommend this adventure for everyone.

Perfect way to do Ha Long Bay. I’ve previously done an overnight cruise, but this gave us the highlights and I would definitely recommend. We saw no other tour groups the whole day and the staff made sure everything ran smooth

Great well organized boat tour, epic views, recommended, just got unlucky with old taxi car (everyone else had a new and modern one).

Massage chairs on van to boat, perfectly executed experience on a luxurious boat from activity to food to drinks. Plentiful staff willing to help you with anything. Early departure helps avoid all the crowd. It’s like traveling business class for a boat trip! Book this one.

We had a great experience on this one day cruise in Ha Long Bay. The boat was clean and nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the itinerary was well designed. Otis was particularly attentive and made sure that our food was vegetarian when we requested it. I highly recommend Jade Sails!

Total experience was outstanding: beautiful ship, great food and entertainment, row boat and kayak into caves, spectacular scenery, engaging staff. Great value and much more than I expected. The limousine is worth the money for 2 hr transit. The cultured pearl farm was super interesting/informative.

Absolutely amazing trip! Definitely book this! I read some reviews and was sceptical but ignore them! It’s about 2 hours from Hanoi. We got picked up in a 8 seater van which was very comfortable. They provided water. We stopped on the way for 25 minutes where we were able to get refreshments and breakfast. The boat trip was amazing. The first 30 mins is an induction and then you get an hour or so to yourself. Then it was a buffet lunch which was incredible. They offered all different foods including local dishes. We ate all sorts including the seafood and salad and we were fine! We then did a small boat trip with a local rower, through some caves. We tipped him 10k VND which was recommended but definitely not expected! We then went kayaking and swimming and then we had the rest of the trip to ourselves. You can watch a cooking class we chose to just chill they served some spring rolls and dessert. Drinks are not included but very cheap! We had two cocktails, 4 beers and a sprite and it was £18. Cash recommended to tip at the end but again not expected we could pay by card for drinks. Towels were provided. The views were insane I would 100% do this again.

The best decision i made is to do a day trip from Hanoi , was sufficient. The boat is clean , the staff are super nice , the activities are good and fun . Food is good quality but need more vegetation options specially if you don't eat sea food . Transportation from and to Hanoi was very comfortable .

Great day in Halong bay! The cruise ship was brilliant, the food (buffet) was tasty and of high quality, staff super friendly! I strongly recommend it!

I’d actually like to have left this a 5* review, and would have if the day stopped when we got off the boat… Firstly the good bits. The boat is beautiful, the food is fantastic, as is the entertainment on board and the itinerary of the day is perfect. We saw so much of the bays, went on a kayak and had a good swim and I savoured every minute. It’s a really great day out. However, when we got off the boat our bus wasn’t there. Apparently he had engine problems. So we watch everyone else depart and sit for about 25/30 minutes until another bus turns up. Then we make a stop at the services which nobody wanted. Then, which was the part which really grated me, the driver took a wrong turn nearby the hotel drop off and asked us to get out and walk the rest of the way. We did, because at that point we were fed up of the traffic, but this wasn’t the hotel drop off it was meant to be! This two hour stint left a really sour taste on what was otherwise a wholesome day out as a family.

It was a fantastic experience and the crew was very friendly! Vinny was our primary guide and was amazing. The whole crew is very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. They were very accommodating of my gluten intolerance and made sure to notify me of any allergens before all snacks and meals. The boat itself is wonderful too. Do make sure to confirm they received your booking — they were not notified by Viator and I almost missed my bus, but it all worked out in the end. Overall, highly recommend if you’re looking for a Ha Long Bay day cruise!

Everything about this trip was fantastic! The bus, the food and most especially the staff they were amazing 😍

First we were picked up in a luxury van with WiFi. On arrival at dock nice atmosphere. Music playing as we boarded. Many activities on board. Liked that they leave early so we were ahead of other ships. Went to great locations not on every other itinerary. Ship clean. Staff very friendly and professional. Their English was excellent. Food was good. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect from start to end. The driver who picked up our group of 3 was so kind and even made sure to get a bigger vehicle for on the way back as we was a bit squashed on the way there. Bella and the rest of crew on Jade sails were so helpful, informational and made us feel relaxed. Definitely one of our top highlights of our trip to Vietnam and if you’re hesitating on which tour to pick from for ha long bay, pick this one. You don’t feel rushed, your barley see any other boats so you feel like the bay is yours alone and overall it’s a fantastic experience, not to mention we loved happy hour ^^.

The pick up from our hotel was easy and comfortable. On the boat, our chief host, Vinny, was charming, funny and knowledgeable, and the rest of the service staff were warm and very accomodating for my partner's vegetarian requirements. The activities (traditional row boat tour through stunning caves and bays, kayaking and swimming) were well spaced and in great locations. Even the band seemed to know exactly what they were doing, creating good vibes without being cringe or overpowering. I would thoroughly recommend this boat and its team!

It was a wonderful experience on a luxurious boat. Lunch buffet was delicious. Staffs are very worm and friendly but devoting. Activities are fun and quite organized. Boat is well equipped and maintained. Choosing a tour from hundreds of options of Halong bay day trips was difficult but I strongly recommend you to chose this one.
