DAY 1: Ha Noi – Halong - Lan Ha Bay (L/D) 8:30- 8:45: Pick-up time For those who book our transfer service, you will be picked up at your hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter Moving through the expressway in 2,5 hours. 11:45 – 12:00: Check-in. This will be followed by a cruise briefing where you will also be given safety instructions before checking in to your cabin. 15:00– 16:00 : We arrive at Dark and Lights Cave, where you can do kayaking or bamboo boat rowed by local people. Than return to cruise, followed by swimming near the ship. Back to the cruise, relax in the seasonal Jacuzzi , enjoy a complimentary sunset party and Enjoy Happy Hour Deal in all bars on cruise. 18:00: On board, you may join a traditional cooking class presented by our crew. You can also enjoy the massage service which is available onboard. Especially, the cruises have fitness centers onboard, free to use.
Dark and Light Cave
6:15 : Wake up early to start your perfect day with Tai Chi class or watch the sunrise on the top deck or you can choose Gym as a great place to get an unspoiled view of a sunrise 7:00 : Light breakfast is served. in the restaurant. 8:00 – 9.00: Exploring Lan ha Bay the most beautiful natural bay in Vietnam, Having leisure time by doing kayaking around Lan ha Bay. 9:30 : Return the boat and check out the cabin. Then have brunch in restaurant while the boat sails back to pier. We settle the bill at the end of trip. 11:30 : Disembark the boat and return to port. 12:15: If transfer to Hanoi Hanoi is not required, say goodbye to Halong. If transfer to Hanoi is required, starts returning to Hanoi with the tour guide 15:00 : Arrive at Hanoi. End of the trip

Lee is a great tour guide who provided a luxury bus transfer to Ha Long Bay from Old Quarter, Hanoi. The bus was clean and comfortable. Recling seats and powered foot rest. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our experience with Aspira Cruise! Everything was very well organized, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced. The activities were packed into the schedule efficiently without ever feeling rushed or overwhelming. Just the right amount of everything! The day boat trip was fantastic and definitely one of the highlights of our experience. And the food? Absolutely delicious! There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy. Even something as simple as plain rice tasted amazing, which says a lot about the quality of the food. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend Aspira Cruise!

Interesting experience with a few honorable mentions. Our tour bus guide, Lee was wonderful. Full of knowledge and very kind. The cruise director, John did a wonderful job explaining about the boat and connecting with the children, as did Wendy who was very engaged with the guests. The boat was esthetically decent, although a bit more shade would be appreciated outside. Unfortunately, this is where many of the good points stop. The rest of the staff on board seemed more interested in communicating with one another than anyone else. They were not attentive or communicative and treated the guests like just another group they were trying to get through. Not many smiles or explanations, no offers to fill waters during dinner, attention to hospitality details was definitely lacking. One of the staff yelled loudly at another in the back of the dinning room and the constant shuffling and food prep at dinner made for a not very relaxing experience. As for the rooms, they could use a little more updating. The water didn’t drain properly in the shower, the AC was dirty and needed servicing. The boat charged for almost anything they could, it was unexpected given the price we were paying. The excursions were nice but again, it just felt like being shuttled through. Honestly, I was hoping for more and I can’t say I’ll be using this cruise line in the future.

We enjoyed our 2D1N in Halong Bay onboard the Aspira. We arranged for a bus through the cruise to pick us up in Hanoi Old Quarter. It was convenient and only cost about $150 round trip. The trip took about 3 hours with a break halfway to tour a disabled artist community workshop. The check in process was easy. We then took a tender to the Aspira (about 45 minutes). If you are sensitive to diesel exhaust, you may want to bring a mask. The ship was relatively clean but there were stains on our sheets and clearly dust and mold on the split pack A/C (common for SE Asia). John and Nancy the tour managers were the highlights for us. They made a point to remember our names and seemed genuinely interested in making sure our kids had a good time. The kids enjoyed the squid fishing and kayaking. I enjoyed the cooking class. The food was tasty, but a little bland for us. I was also hoping for some more Vietnamese type dishes for dinner. The staff were okay. We weren’t really pleased with the noise level on the ship, especially at night it seemed quite loud. Aside from John, Nancy, Juno, and the lady working the restaurant most of the crew were not to the same level we would expect of a five star cruise. For instance loud fighting in earshot of the guests, openly coughing on the buffet lunch, and not checking if guests would like drinks during their meal, and watching videos on their phones with the volume on. Overall, we enjoyed our trip, but we felt like we were just being processed through a factory and I don’t think the value for money is appropriate and there could definitely be improvements.
Wonderful time! I definitely recommend doing 3 days 2 nights. The whole trip was well organised without feeling regimented and everyone was fabulous, friendly and helpful from Lee on the bus to John the cruise director and he s assistant Aki. We saw fantastic sights and had the best time
Bus clean and tidy, super comfy chairs that recline back and small leg rests that recline up. Plenty of room on the bus so everyone can recline back if they want. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Had an amazing time on the Aspira Cruise from Hanoi. Lee picked us up for our transfer and looked after us so well, he made sure we knew where to go, gave us refreshments and was very funny. The cruise itself was beautiful, from Kayaking to the caves to the views of the Bay on the boat. Amazing, a must do for anyone visiting and couldn't recommend Aspira enough.

Excellent service. Picked us up around the corner from our hotel in the Old Quarter. Limo bus/van very comfortable. Then a short ferry from harbor to the cruise ship. Room was gorgeous, food was wonderful. We enjoyed the cave tour and kayaking. Highly recommend !
