The hotel’s location offers a lovely view of Halong Bay, which is a positive point. However, the rest of the experience falls short. There’s nothing to do within the hotel or the surrounding area. The rooms and beds are clean but located in a mountain, and the electric car service is only available from 6:00 to 22:00. The bedroom is small, poorly equipped and quite old. There’s no bar at the hotel, so if you want a drink by the pool you’ll need to go upstairs to the restaurant or order something. The poolside lacks a bar and any service, which is a major disappointment. Furthermore, the hotel only serves soda and beer, not cocktails. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
The fire alarm went off throughout the entire hotel, and nobody did anything. I called the front desk to report it, but the staff didn’t speak English. I then went down to reception, and again, nobody could communicate in English. After the alarm had been sounding for over 10 minutes, all they could tell me was, “Please wait, we don’t know what’s happening.”
This is completely unacceptable. In an emergency, guests need clear communication and prompt action. The staff seemed unprepared and unable to handle the situation. I would not recommend staying here.

I had a really relaxing experience. The best thing about this resort is the peaceful atmosphere. It’s located on Tuan Chau Island, away from the busy center, so it feels quiet and calm. The resort is quite large with lots of greenery, which makes it perfect for a morning walk or just enjoying the sea breeze.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with all the basic amenities you need. The style is a bit classic, but everything is well maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and getting around the resort was easy.
The resort also has a private beach and plenty of outdoor space to relax. It’s also convenient if you plan to take a cruise from Tuan Chau Marina to explore the bay.
Overall, it’s a great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway in Ha Long, especially for families or anyone who wants to enjoy nature and the sea. I’d definitely come back.
Our stay at this hotel in Ha Long Bay was extremely disappointing. We booked and paid for a room for four people, yet only received two towels and three pillows. When we asked for more, the staff simply said no – which set a bad tone from the very first day.
To make matters worse, a storm was approaching and the entire island was being evacuated – yet no one from the hotel informed us. We only realised something was wrong when we noticed the island was nearly empty and had to ask. At that point, we discovered we were one of the only two groups left on the entire island. The lack of communication in a potentially dangerous situation was extremely worrying.
This hotel failed on basic service and safety. Definitely would not recommend staying here.
