Guilin Bravo Hotel

A very good hotel. It was really pleasant. Amenities are excellent, staffs are helpfull.

Nice hotel, the rooms have a view of one of the lakes. Rooms are on the small size and not decorated to my taste but very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a buffet style and you could find something for English taste. We did not have chance to use the outdoor pool but it did look good.

Until hotels in South China will learn that DO NOT DISTURB means DO NOT DISTURB, there will be no progress for hospitality industry here. In South region of China they COMPLETELY ignore DND signs. Food is not good. Dessert mouosse is a dry carton yoghurt that looks nice and tastes awful. Menu translation is wrong, use Google lense translator instead. Rooms are very good. If you are staying here for one night and only use room and avoid any interaction, then you are good.

The service at the hotel was excellent. Our maid cleaned the room well every morning and always left us extra bottles of water. They let us check out at 2 pm for an afternoon flight. You are on the river and it is a close walk to the main centre of town. The rooms are a bit dated but everything is clean and the facilities are well maintained. The outdoor pool was also an excellent feature. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food.
