Zipline Monkey Jungle Family Canopy Tour In Tamarindo

Our family of 5 had such a fun day with Juan and Diego. They were super professional and helpful with the kids. We saw monkeys and a huge iguana which was a hit for our 8 year old. We would definitely come back!

Our group had the best experience zip lining with Cesar and Starling they were great tour guides and the views were beautiful, we even got to see monkeys! Highly recommend this tour!

Cesar and Sterling were amazing guides, making it extremely fun and exciting for my group. All the ziplines were fun and the views were amazing. We did the ATV tour as well and it was so nice to drive through the countryside and the forest. We saw cows, horses, and even monkeys! Truly an unforgettable experience and we absolutely would come again just for Cesar and Sterling.

Allen and Juan were so amazing, at first I was scared, because this was my first time zip-lining but they really calmed me down . I felt safe and had so much fun. 10/10 recommend!

This tour was amazing! The guides were fun and friendly and we had a wonderful time. My son was quite nervous about this adventure, but the guides comforted him and put him at ease and he ended up saying he wanted to do it again! The main meeting area is super cute with a covered eating spot and hammocks to hang out in. This really left like good value for what you pay. I would 100% recommend!

Our ziplining/ATV tour was incredible!!! Our guides Allen and Juan were so informative and explained everything we would be doing thoroughly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our time and were safe throughout the whole process. This excursion comes highly recommended 10/10!

If you are unsure which zip line tour company to choose, look no further! I searched for weeks unable to decide and ended up going with my hotel’s choice - Monkey Jungle. So grateful we did! Allen and Diego and their entire team are fabulous! So warm, welcoming, professional and speak perfect English. The company picked us up at our hotel on time and our driver was kind and funny and so welcoming. We went on about 10 different zip lines and even though I’m afraid of heights, they took great care to make sure we were secure, safe and any nerves calmed. We came back to base camp to a freshly sliced, ice cold pineapple and ice waters. Such a great morning of family laughter and fun. Would absolutely book again with the great team at Monkey Jungle!

My teenage daughter and I had a great experience with our guides, Kenneth and Starling. Both were courteous and professional, but also lots of fun. Both are completely fluent in English. While we didn't see a lot of exotic animals, the zipline was thrilling, and the views were beautiful.

We had a great time ziplining. The company was friendly and attentive to everything. I appreciated them letting me ride up the mountain to take pictures, even though I didn't Zipline. This was our second time ziplining with them and loved it again!!

We had the best time with the zip lining crew! Our family of 5 (3 teens) all felt like the course was challenging enough despite the name “family” in the description. The Zipline crew was super fun, very helpful and kept us laughing and also safe all at the same time! Great group of guys!

Our tour guides were amazing. Made us feel safe, have good instructions and were very engaging. The howler monkey family that lived half way through the rides were loud and lived up to their name.

Our trip was so much fun because of our guides. They made us comfortable, safe, and laugh a lot! We zipped fast, long, and upside down. We wore shorts, tanks and tennis shoes. Monkey sightings everywhere. The water and the pineapple were delightful at the end. Would do it again!

Super fun. It starts out with gentle lines and subsequent lines increase in intensity. The views are gorgeous. Kenneth and Juan were excellent guides. Highly recommended.

The guides were very friendly and totally professional in that laid back Costa Rica style. Zipping through the trees so high up was awesome. And......the howler monkeys showed off for us (think the guides must pay them in bananas!)

We had an amazing private zip line trip with my friends. Drove us straight up to where we were gonna zip line where they have easy instructions. We saw some howlers monkeys and even the trip was over, they had watermelon and pineapple for us. We had a blast

Great first time zipline experience. We did both ATV and zipline. It was a small group which made it more personable. The staff (Starling, Cesar, and Juan) were fantastic! They made us feel very safe and it was a lot of fun. The water and fruit after each event was unexpected and a very pleasant surprise. The entire experience was perfect and we would highly recommend Monkey Jungle.

Based on other zip lines this one was a bit rickety. The harness was not super comfortable compared to others. It was beautiful and the monkeys were neat to see.

These guys know what they are doing!!! Safety is important but so is BIG FUN!!! Great activity for family of a variety of ages!!!

We had an amazing time doing the zip line activity! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at ease. They were incredibly reassuring, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Safety was clearly a top priority, and the team took the time to explain everything thoroughly, so we felt confident and secure throughout. It’s also very well adapted for children, making it a perfect activity for families. This is definitely something to add to your travel itinerary—you won’t regret it. We absolutely loved it!

My husband and I had such a great time! The guides were very sweet and made us feel very safe! I’m terrified of heights and I had a blast! We went during the dry season so the trees were not green (so no monkeys while on the zipline). It was still very beautiful being on the mountain, just bring sunscreen!!

Went with our two kids -- 5 and 8 years old -- this was the highlight of their trip. The zipline guides were super nice guys, cautious, responsible, and made the kids feel comfortable. Also, this was not crowded at all -- it was just us and another family of four -- had an absolutely amazing time.

This was a great zip line experience for my sons who were beginners. The staff were friendly, funny, and focused on safety. Only 4 stars because there was no start time on the tour reservation, just the date. There was no response to my message via the app, so I had to call to confirm the time.

Nice long zipline options but no monkeys were seen, heard, or even mentioned. Also, 3 of the ziplines were closed and we were not aware until we arrived. The experience is a small building to get on your gear and you all pile into trucks to take you up a sketchy road to the top of the zipline. Not for the faint of heart. We tried a different zipline last year about 20 min north of playa flamingo and we regret not doing that again. You see billboards for the Monkey Jungle all over the place but not worth the hype, sadly.

The most charismatic workers and fun service! I’d recommend going during the summer so it’s more green rather than the dry season.

Fun zip lines - the guides were great friendly and professional. The pineapple they served us after was absolutely delicious. It’s a little pricey $65.pp considering they don’t offer any transportation other companies do and they only charge $50 pp. I’m still going to give them 5 stars because it was well planned and fun. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cesar and Kenneth were awesome guides. Gave us time to take some pictures of the monkeys. Short course with 7 zip lines. Fun activity for beginners. Felt very welcomed, safe and comfortable. Nice touch with fresh pineapple and waters at the end.

We had the best experience with our family today! Our guides, Juan & Cesar, were super fun and made me feel confident that we were safe and in good hands. We felt so comfortable that we even allowed our 5 & 7 year old to do a couple lines solo! This was a fun adventure for all ages and we were delighted to see monkeys every direction we looked! This was such great family experience. My wife and son were scared and having second thoughts, but the guides there were so nice and explained all the safety features and even offered to do a tandem ride. They also offered to have their truck available at the first two platforms if anyone wanted to bail for any reason. My son (10) rode with one of the guys 6 of the 7 times. My wife was practically a pro after the first ride. We saw a troupe of howler monkeys from one of the platforms in the middle of the course. César and Kenneth were friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging, and overall awesome.

We were taken care of for the entire adventure. Safety was taken very seriously and we all felt perfectly safe throughout our experience. We had fun. The staff were great and very attentive and engaging.

Good time! . Our guides Diego, Allen, Juan, Kenneth and Alonso were very friendly, worked very efficiently to transfer us from one zip line to the next, so minimize wait. Felt very safe in their capable hands. One note: this is beginner ziplining- with multiple short ziplines. Not steep- didn't need to brake. Very well suited for families. If you're more adventurous / thrill seeking you may want to choose somewhere else.

If you're looking at reviews, I'm sure you're debating the merits of going ziplining here or not. You can stop debating and just book. I went with my girlfriend and it was our first time ziplining and the guides, Cesar and Starling, could not have been kinder or more helpful. They made us feel laid back and at ease, and safety was never a concern. Zipping through the forest past the hooting howler monkeys was an added plus! Fantastic staff and experience!
