Manny was helpful and informative. We brought a few bucks for tips and the guides took care of the rest. Kept our things safe while we enjoyed the sights.

Great tour! Each stop really delivered as advertised! Manuel was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. Highly recommend doing this tour!
Armando picked us up and Dropped us off from our location to the meeting point Excellent Engaging Funny Reliable Informative. Nana a n d Gustavo were Great Tour Guides and Driver. Very Very Informative on theatrical of the areas Culture Lifestyle History and Terrain. Extremely Knowledgeable Friendly Engaging Caring Hospital.
Manny was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable! It was a great way to see a lot of Costa Rica in a day 🌴
Manuel was amazing - and the locations/activities he chose were fantastic!
We fit a lot into one day. I lived the waterfall the best, but we also saw wildlife and tastes local coffee plus enjoyed an included lunch. Manny our guide and our bus driver were great.
From pickup to drop off, Rene was great. The ride to our destinations were very informative. Rene explained local life, and geographies of Costa Rica. Overall great experience. Each tour guide were great and informative and made the experience very personal. Food was delicious. Would recommend to book with them.
We absolutely loved our tour! We were picked from our hotel on time in a nice air-conditioned bus, an hour and a half ride to the first activity which was waterfall, and then shorter rides to other activities. Our guide was great, Manny (Emanuel): fun and knowledgeable, nice person, also helpful with taking pictures for us. We even exchanged some cultural experience: he taught us some Spanish words and we taught him some Russian words :) Jungle was amazing! We got to see a couple of sloths (although they were high up on the tree), a toucan, a couple of awesome frogs and a very cute but very poisonous yellow snake! And we totally loved our coffee farm tour, we tasted cocoa beans and coffee, and the guide picked a couple of people to grind coffee beans and I was one of them :) What an awesome experience! Love, Olena and Natalya
What a fantastic day! Our tour guide, Nana was outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the entire day. Our driver, Gustavo, was also fantastic and did a great job navigating the Costa Rican roads. What I loved most was the variety. First, we visited a beautiful waterfall where we could swim and then explored the rainforest where we saw frogs, a snake, and several sloths. The highlight for us was seeing a sloth incredibly close at eye level. We got amazing photos and videos, and it was definitely one of those experiences we’ll always remember. Our rainforest guide, Diego, was also terrific at spotting wildlife and helping us capture great photos. Following the rainforest, we visited a coffee/cocoa plantation where we learned about how coffee and chocolate are grown and made. This experience was interesting, hands-on, and delicious! Prior to heading back to our hotel, we stopped to enjoyed a traditional Costa Rican lunch. If you’re looking for a tour that lets you experience a lot of Costa Rica in one day, I would highly recommend this one. Great guides, beautiful scenery, wildlife, food, coffee, chocolate, and an unforgettable sloth encounter!
This was a great outing! I took my mother who is almost eighty because it looked like it would be fun but laidback enough for her level of fitness and it was. Nana was our tour guide for the day. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. Gustavo was our driver and he was incredibly kind and attentive. They were both so helpful and considerate of my mother! The stairs down to the waterfall were a little tricky so Mom didn't do that part; but she had a pretty place to sit with a nice view with a couple of local vendors she chatted with. I did go down to the waterfall myself. It was beautiful and refreshing! The rainforest and sloth watching was really great and the trail was perfect for Mom. Diego was our naturalist and aside from being well-educated on his subject matter, he grew up in the area so he had a lot of knowledge to share. And an incredible eye! We saw things we never would have noticed on our own. Additionally, he's an excellent photographer and helped us get some really great shots! We had the very rare good fortune of seeing a juvenile sloth down low close to the trail. We were right next to him and he was cuter than I could have imagined! The coffee and cacao farm was also an awesome learning experience in a beautiful place. Sadly, I can't remember the name of our guide there; but he was wonderful! We love coffee and chocolate so this was right up our alley! A traditional lunch was part of the tour and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour!

If you want to see a lot in one day, this is the trip to take. We learned a lot about the countryside, saw a wide array of wildlife and beautiful places. We had so much fun learning about coffee and cacao! The guides were friendly and well informed and the lunch was excellent. Highly recommend.
Manny was a great guide! The excursion was very entertaining. We saw iguana, sloths, frogs, viper, toucans, and hummingbirds. The ride was great the drive was skilled and safe! Got us there and back safely and fast! The lunch good. Excursion to the coffee and cacao making tour was informative. How they process it and make it from bean to cup! Justin our guide was sooo knowledgeable on every aspect of coffee and cacao! I recommend this tour to anyone who visits this part of the country! Lush rainforest!! Pure Nature tour exceeds my expectations and didn’t over walk or exert us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience
Nanna was a great guide for the day with Chamul (Orlando) at the wheel getting us to each location safely. The Cataratas waterfall was nice stop. The guides at the sloth/wildlife tour and cafe/cacao tours were informative and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Excellent mix of experiences. Right amount of time at each. Wildlife viewing exceptional for such a short trip.
We had a wonderful experience with Nana! She took such good care of us. We started the tour with a beautiful drive to the waterfall, we stopped for breakfast (not part of the tour, but part of the caretaking, it's hard to enjoy yourself when you're hangry) and had a nice sit down meal with an explanation of what we could expect during the day. We enjoyed everything that was listed in the description. What was not mentioned was how much each guide would go out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit. We saw sloths, frogs, a beautiful snake and with some much needed help, we got amazing photos that we are taking credit for. i go to grind coffee and taste fresh cocoa beans and learn about the history of Costa Rica. We also had an amazing Costa Rican lunch. It was money and time well spent.
Our guide, Adriana, made the private van tour very special. It was worth it to pay extra for our group of 8 to have our own group and tour. She was knowledgeable, provides many interesting facts, excellent communicator, and happy to share information about her culture. The Waterfall was beautiful (a little challenging hike down and up), but take your time. The rainforest made our tour extra special with an excellent guide who pointed out so many interesting creatures of the rainforest. Be prepared for traffic and long drive to and from when leaving from Guanacaste area. We absolutely would recommend our guide and this tour.
It was a very fun and unique experience. The coffee and chocolate was our favorite. There was a little more time spent in the car than doing the activities but, otherwise, it was great.
We absolutely loved this experience! Emmanuel was an amazing tour guide, and communication was great throughout the tour. We got to see several animals and learn about their backgrounds, which made the experience even more special. We learned so much about Costa Rica’s wildlife and really enjoyed getting to appreciate the country’s beautiful nature. The coffee tour was also incredibly informative, and we loved learning about the process while getting to taste Costa Rican coffee and hot chocolate. Both were delicious! Overall, it was such a fun and educational experience. We highly recommend Emmanuel to anyone visiting Costa Rica!
The sites leading to the excursion were beautiful. Our guide gave us flexibility to choose when we would stop for lunch on the route. Lunch at the local pizzeria was the best meal we had all trip even though we didn’t order pizza. The waterfall experience was beautiful. If you love coffee and chocolate, would highly recommend this tour. The icing on the cake was seeing the sloths in their natural environment. We had the opportunity to see some other beautiful creatures as well.
The tour was amazing. Our guide Emmanuel/Manny was great with good description and communication of everything planned and the schedule. While at each location, he made sure everyone understood and enjoyed the experience. Every activity was worth visting. Coffee and chocolate was also very informative and interactive. The included meal was a nice touch. Overall definitely great amazing tour.
Nanna was amazing!!! One of the best tours of Costa Rica!! She was helpful and informative and knowledgeable!! Worth every penny
Was a great tour. Picked up promptly at our time and greeted warmly by Nanna. She was an excellent guide. The water fall was a short hike. Jungle walk was an easy flat loop. Coffee and chocolate was interesting.
Sloths, Toucans, Frogs, Coffee, and Chocolate! What a great tour. Nana was our tour guide so friendly, knowledgeable and was sure we saw everything. Even before we left our property from our hotel, she stopped the van and backed up to show us howler monkeys in the tree. She was welcoming and gave her personal take which helped us to relate even more to the Costa Rican culture I believe our tour guide for the jungle tour was Diego but he was for sure the animal whisperer. The Coffee and Chocolate tour with Hillary was wonderful! She was entertaining and gave us so much info. Made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. It was a little farther than I expected, but that isn’t a complaint but more I didn’t look ahead of time so just pay attention if you are staying in resorts on the Pacific. We did a group tour and had such a great time with the other group as well.
LOVED this tour guide. Our tour guide’s name was Nana and she was absolutely amazing! She was funny, endearing, and knew so much about the culture and wildlife of the country. She kept us going at a solid pace and we got to see everything we came for: Sloths, snakes, indigenous frogs, etc. The chocolate and coffee portion was also really fun. Hillary was our guide for that part and she was incredible as well.
This is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. Nana was so knowledgeable, warm and bubbly, and wanted to ensure we saw everything we were wanting to see. The tour was great. We couldn’t swim at the water fall but it was still great and totally didn’t take away from anything we did that day. We never felt rushed, took our time everywhere, took lots of pictures, and had a calm drive there and back. It was farther than we expected so of you are on the Pacific Coast, expect 2 hours in the car. That isn’t a complaint, it was exciting to see the country, That was just something we didn’t expect.
We enjoyed the various experiences! The tour guide was good about giving opportunities for bathrooms and even coffee/breakfast since pick up was early in the morning. The national park with the waterfall had decent bathrooms to change in and out of swimsuits. The guides new where the animals liked to hang out. The coffee and chocolate tasting was delicious. Only be ready for a lot of driving, which is unavoidable, honestly, if you want to see/do different things.
We loved this tour but aside from all we experienced, it was extra special as a result of our guide, Nana, who went above and beyond to give us the best day possible. Thank you for the memories!!
We had an amazing time! Our tour guide, Nana, was phenomenal! She taught us about the area, culture, the importance of the ecology to the people of Costa Rica. She made sure we were well fed, had bathroom breaks, and were comfortable and happy. She also kept a look out for monkeys and toucan along the way. We enjoyed the short hike to the waterfall. The coffee and chocolate tour was also great. We learned about the coffee growing and brewing processes and got to taste both. We saw sloths, a snake, and frogs! The guide was awesome, she helped us get great photos. This excursion was worth every penny. I rated the pick up low only because we did not stay at one of the listed hotels, so we had to walk 2 miles to get there, but our driver dropped us off at our door. We wanted to keep Nana, but her family needs her.
Nona found the best experts to find frogs and tell us about coffee and cacao. She also made us feel like companions.
We had a nice day. We have a 2 1/2 year-old and did not want anything strenuous, but wanted to see some gems of Costa Rica. We experienced swimming in a waterfall, got to see all the animals that we wanted, had a delicious lunch and a very great experience at the coffee & cacao tour. We were picked up and met up with the larger group, so it was nice that they took into consideration the different locations of hotels. I appreciate the efficiency. Nana was a great guide. Everyone involved was friendly and very knowledgeable.
Great experience - Nana was awesome and Galustavo is a great driver!!!
Thank you Nana and Gustavo we had a great time !!
Our experience was so great and we all enjoyed our time. Our driver/guide was very pleasant and friendly. We got to see sloths, went to waterfall, eat costa rican food, and try chocolate and coffee.
Hotel pickup process was sketchy. Picked up by an uber type Driver who did not speak English. Had to meet up with van from other hotel at a gas station. Waterfall was Disappointing. Found out upon arrival that water was ‘murky’ due to rain. It was BROWN. Not murky. No one swam. Waste of time. Coffee and chocolate was simple and underwhelming. 5 minute tours of each. Best part of sloth experience was baby sloth and lunch. Very accommodating to gluten allergy Driver drove like a maniac. Tour guide was A bit unprofessional when talking about his own life. No one wants to hear how he knew he was about to be a father of his second child after leaving his wife ‘when she told him she wasn’t having her period’. Too much information we could have done without.
Hotel pickup was a little sketchy. We had to be picked up in an uber type car (which had very strong air fresheners) and then dropped off at a gas station to meet another bus from a different hotel of guests. Waterfall was underwhelming. We were told as we started walking to it that the water was ‘murky’ and we might not want to swim. It was BROWN. Not murky, brown. No one swam it in. Waste of time. Lunch was good and very attentive to gluten allergy. Coffee tour and chocolate tour were One and the same. Just ok. Bus driver drove like a maniac. Extremely fast! And tour guide was Ok. Sometimes a bit inappropriate conversations when he would talk about his life. Sometimes you don’t want to hear ‘she told me she didn’t have her period’ so I knew she was pregnant with my second child after I left her.
Great tour! Very organized and educational. We saw everything promised and had a great time. Bring your water shoes for the waterfall and bug spray for the sloth seeing.
Nana was wonderful, very informative!!
Rudy made this trip very special with his knowledge of the animal and plant life on the tour. We had a blast and for the price you get a great, full day of sightseeing and adventures. 11/10 couldn’t recommend enough for you to try!
Guides friendly. Waterfall beautiful. In rain forest should have taken my poncho, which I had on the bus, despite the guide saying it wouldn’t rain. It did. We saw sloths, colorful basically bright green frog with red eyes, eyelash vipers, tiny red frogs, working ants, beautiful variation of tropical flowers and beautiful foliage.
What an amazing day tour! Our driver Luis and guide Rudi were great. The waterfall was beautiful, on the jungle we had a local guide called Kevin who was superb - and helped take some fantastic photos of the animals he spotted. We saw sloths, snakes and frogs all up very close. The coffee and chocolate tour was interesting and fun - and tasted great - and then we had a lovely lunch. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Costa Rica up close. Probably one of the best day tours I have done!
The experience was amazing from the beginning to the end. Gustavo the driver is very good and Rudy our guide very knowledgeable about costa rica, explain everything well and clear, answer all our questions. They made the tour feels comfortable and smooth. The company is professional. High recommended!!
We saw some animals up close, had a great experience learning about coffee and chocolate but we didn’t swim under the waterfall, only put our feet in.
My fiancé and I recently did this excusion and our guide, Rudy, made the whole experience unforgettable. He was knowledgeable and full of fun facts about Costa Rica's culture, history, and wildlife, and he had a great eye for spotting animals we would have completely missed on our own. The sloth sightings were a definite highlight of our trip. Gustavo, our driver, also deserves a big thank you. He navigated the roads safely and smoothly, getting us to and from each location without a hitch, which let us relax and enjoy the scenery along the way. I highly recommend this tour!
Luis was a wonderful driver and Rudy was an awesome tour guide!
We really enjoyed our tour with Pure Nature Private Tours, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to experience a lot of Costa Rica in a comfortable and efficient way. They were very helpful, friendly and engaging with the tourists. They made our 4 year old son feel engaged and special the entire day. Thank you for a wonderful tour!
From pick up to drop off this experience was absolutely amazing! The tour guides were great! Very informative, patient, funny, and friendly. The food was great the whole tour was great.
The experience was Amazing the tour guide was professional, funny, and Informative. You will see everything you booked for and more.
I did this tour today and loved all of it. The pickup was well organized and on time. I had no trouble reaching out and receiving prompt replies. Jose and Gustavo made for an excellent t duo - tour guide and driver. The waterfall was nice - we swam and took that in for about half an hour. Then we went to a small rainforest trail where we saw sloths, snakes, frogs and bugs. Kevin - the young guide there really knew his stuff and was a pleasure to be with. He knew all the little spots to look and you can tell he is passionate about the forest and its creatures. From there we visited a coffee and cacao plantation and learned about the various processes of each, sampled and enjoyed. A small family-run business with excellent knowledge and roots that go way back - it was so nice. Not tacky or touristy in any negative way just very pleasant. (10/10). We enjoyed a delicious local late lunch of typical (and exceptional) beans, rice etc CR fare before heading back down to Coco area. What a great day. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed this tour so much! The waterfall on the way out was a great way to break up an otherwise long ride, and an extra opportunity to see wildlife. The coffee and chocolate experience was very engaging and interesting, and seeing the wildlife (frogs, snakes, and SLOTHS) was amazing. We loved our guide, Rudi, who was full of enthusiasm and knowledge about the animals and plants that we were seeing. 10/10 would recommend!
