Was an amazing tour and the lunch that was served was some of the best food I’ve had in Costa Rica. Long ride but enjoyable
Action packed day that was very efficiently run.
Weather was great, ate breakfast before trip had a great lunch. Picked up a 6:45 and we're back at hotel around 4:30@, the waterfalls were beautiful and the sloth sanctuary was great too, Daphne did a fantastic job showing us around and keeping us informed. Alberto was also great, walk to Rio Celeste can be tricky for older less agile people.
Was a fun time with the guide and every one on the tour was nice and friendly
Excellent trip- amazing sites and animals. Learned a lot about Costa Rica
Felipe was best and took us to other really excellent guides.
This tour was a big hit with our family and the most memorable experience of our trip. Rudy and Orlando were truly remarkable guides! We had some great conversations with Rudy and couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He and Orlando made sure our daughters (9 and 11) had a great experience! We loved swimming at the waterfall, seeing sloths, and the Volcano hike. Rain is almost a guarantee in the rainforest, be sure to bring a poncho. We had disposable ponchos, I would bring reusable if I did it again because the disposable just stuck to our skin. No need for water shoes on this trip. Llanos de Cortes is a short walk from the parking lot and the waterfall area is all sand. Sandals work fine there.
Nothing on this tour was breathtaking. The bus driver drove fast enough that I was scared. I couldn’t hear the tour guide on the bus. He needed a microphone.
The tour was great! We were able to see three out of six sloths and saw other animals as well. The waterfall was beautiful but you could not get close to it. 10/10 recommend this tour.
Amazing time with Miguel and Felipe! They were very friendly and shared many interesting facts of Costa Rica. 10/10 recommend for everyone!!!
The early wake up was well worth it for a full day of adventure! Our guide, Alaberto, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and shared insights about the area, terrain, and wildlife. He even took us to a few hidden gems throughout the park that we would have missed otherwise. Thank you for a great tour!
The guide Filipe was very knowledgeable and made sure we were all cared for. He was very attentive to our needs and made the tour truly enjoyable. The driver Frank drove us to each location safely.
Filipe and Alberto were a lot of fun. Super laid back, fun tour with the perfect group of people. Waterfalls are cool, sloths are cute and got one of the best meals I’ve had in Costa Rica.
Great experience! Really enjoyed the waterfall swimming and animal watching at the sanctuary. Our tour guide Alberto, Daniel and driver Miguel took really good care of us! Highly recommended!
Daphne was a great friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Frank was a good safe driver. The guides at the sloth adventure were very good at finding sloths and tree frogs l to view..would have been nice to slow down a bit on the rainforest hike.
We had such a great time! Pickup was effortless and efficient, and the transportation was very well coordinated. On top of this, the price was well worth the time we had on this excursion; definitely a must-do experience!
Fantastic tour! We enjoyed the Río Celeste hike and had a wonderful time discovering Costa Rica’s wildlife.
Dafne is an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable and such a great personality! Alex at the sloth sanctuary was a delight. Everyone involved in the tour was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic, which made our day SO PERFECT! We got to see toucans, Rufus mot mots, eyelash pit vipers, woodpeckers, two- and three-toes sloths, countless butterflies and even a couple of curious ponies.
Great tour! Our guide and driver were funny and informative; it was like driving with friends. Everything was handled well from start to finish. The booking, the travel, the provided lunch, and most importantly the sights were all wonderful. Great communication, professional service.
Beautiful day at Llanos de Cortes. We swam in the natural pool surrounding the waterfall. Pleasant temperature. Worth a quick swim and some great photos. Saw Howler monkeys in the trees above. Next we went to the Sloth natural reserve. Saw 3-4 sloths but were treated by one climbing down from his tree to take care of his weekly bathroom run. Also saw lots of other wildlife here. The lunch was amazing with lots of native Costa Rican foods. Toucans played in the trees right by our dining area. Finally we made it to Rio Celeste only in time for it to pour. We did successfully make it to the falls but the water lost its blue color due to all the silt from the rain. The falls did have an impressive amount of water pouring down. As the rain finished up, we headed back down and all the wildlife emerged- a family of Coati, a Capuchin monkey, a Motmot, an anole, walking sticks, etc. We all very much enjoyed the day.
10/10! Carlos and Alfredo were awesome from the beginning. Picked us up at our front door made it super easy. Alfredo was a great driver and got us everywhere safe and sound. He was very knowledgeable on where wildlife was in certain areas of the country. Carlos was the absolute best. He was personable, smart, kind and a great guide to be around. He submersed us into the Costa Rican culture! If you are looking for the perfect guide, Carlos is your guy! Highly recommend to do with your family if you are looking for a fun and also adventurous and high paced excursion! Blue Zone Tours, Carlos and Alfredo are the best!!
The tour was great, we saw so many sloth, hikes were moderate, communication was excellent we knew what to expect at every stop. Rudy gave us a wonderful history lesson in the van. Very comfortable ride to each stop.
Helpful and knowledgeable guides Alberto and Philipe were fantastic.
This was a 5/5 experience! We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel. Kevin, our guide, was kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The first waterfall and swimming experience was both beautiful and refreshing. At the eco park we saw 4 sloths, a viper snack, poison dart frog and more! Lunch was appetizing and filling at the top of the cloud forest. And the Rio Celeste falls were stunning. Natures way will tell you everything to pack so keep an eye out for those emails. The weather is unpredictable in the mountains. Prepare for a long drive home. I had a movie downloaded on my phone.
Sloth sanctuary was amazing! The sanctuary tour guide here was amazing finding all the different animals. This was a highlight of the tour. Rainforest hike was great. Prepare to be wet! The water wasn’t blue thought it was more dirty light green. We were unable to go to the Llanos de Cortes Waterfall due to roadwork. This was super disappointing because a reason we booked this tour was because we wanted to swim in a waterfall. Instead ofthe waterfall, they did a coffee and chocolate tour. This ended up being great but still would have rather did the waterfall. The one not so great thing about this tour was our guide he was not very communicative, enthusiastic or energetic. On the way to our first destination, he was sleeping in the front seat. I thought this was odd because any other tour that I’ve been on a tour guide is talking giving us information what we’re passing but instead he was sleeping or just not communicating. There were times that our group didn’t even know what we were doing next because he just didn’t really communicate well with what activity was coming next how long it would take to get there anything like that. Lunch was delicious.
This was such a fun and memorable experience. Booked last minute and it was amazing and highlight of my trip. Although one waterfall was canceled it was replaced with a coffee and chocolate making experience and it was still by far the best experience overall. Daphne and Miguel were great tour guides and took good care of us. So glad I found this excursion it is truly worth it!
Kevin and Miguel were awesome! They were so much fun in the shuttle, and the whole trip was amazing. So many animals, sights to see, etc.. Loved it.
the pick up and drop off was done well. the tour was wonderful and in english. the 3 stops were wonderful. the the tour guide Kevin did a good job but we did not feel very safe with Martin's driving as was on and off on his phone and the driving in CR with a single lane traffic is not very safe. Otherwise a great experience.
Kevin and Kristian we're very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guides who made the tour fun and interesting. It was very well organized, the guide in the sloth sanctuary was very good and discovered lots of animals which he helped us photograph through the binoculars. The lunch location was well selected, the food delicious. Highly recommended!
Excellent! Highly recommended. Kevin and Christian were phenomenal guides. The waterfalls, animal experiences, and hikes were enjoyed by all.
Spectacular day. Miguel was driver and Santos was tour guide. Wonderful sites and staff at facilities were wonderful. beautiful waterfalls. Sloth farm was amazing. Guide was exceptional, saw many wonderful animals .La Leona waterfall was beautiful, color cool blue!
Santos was informative and funny. He was kind to everyone. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
This tour was AMAZING! We saw two waterfalls, hiked through the rain forest and ate at a local restaurant. We saw all types of animals, including sloths! Harry was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Frank was our driver and did an awesome job driving us. We got to stop at a place to buy souvenirs at the end. I highly recommend this tour.
It is beautiful! I expected a lot more hiking and treacherous trails! It was nothing like that there is paths I took hiking boots. They were not necessary at all. Some people wore flip flops others wore water shoes. Take a back pack with extra clothes, towel, mosquito repellent!!! For sure. Also take some sandals. I had closed toe shoes, water shoes and sandals. Bathing suit under some clothes and an extra pair of clothes for the way back to the resort. 10/10
Excellent experience in both the dry and wet forests. The beauty of Costa Rica is simply incredible and this excursion gives you a taste of just that. Harry is very knowledgable of the country's history and easily shares his love for it and the work he does. Frank drove and maneuvered that van through the curves of those roads with ease! 10/10 I would do this excursion again!
It was an awesome experience. They picked us up at our resort. Very informative and interesting conversation to Rio Celeste. The 3rd part of the excursion was to wet and improvise with a coffee & chocolate excursion. No problem. Kevin helped me change future events. He was very honest with me. Best tour guide ever. We stopped a few times for restroom breaks. Highly recommended.
Great trip. Went per schedule. Loved all three parts of the trip including the organic farm where we saw lot of wild flowers , vegetation and animals. Loved the waterfalls and hike thru the rainforest
Such a wonderful experience and we lucked out with beautiful weather. The rio celest was breath taking. The tour guides Santos and Adal were so professional and kept the energy high. The waterfalls were so serene and majestic. The drive was bumpy and scary but these two handled every curve, steepe incline and puthole with as much care and professionalism as possible. I truly recommend this tour!!! This is not a
This was a great way to see Costa Rica! Daphne was our guide and she was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and just an all-around pleasant person to spend the day with. She made sure we had a great experience and answered all of our questions along the way. We also stopped at a restaurant near the jungle and had a great experience there too. The staff was so sweet and the food was delicious. This was honestly one of the best tours I’ve been on, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica!
So much fun! There’s a lot to see and experience and the waterfalls are gorgeous. There is a lot of walking so be prepared!
The perfect day trip! You get to see so much wildlife and scenery, the itinerary is well planned. Great thing to do a solo traveller, met some great people. Saw a sloth!! And loads of monkeys. Was amazing
Because of travel from a different part of Costa Rica we elected to drive ourselves vs scheduling for another day with shuttle service. We met at the first destination then followed the tour van to the other 3 locations( sloth sanctuary, lunch and Rio Celeste Falls). The benefit was having the tour company arrange everything and access to a guide at the stops but could have easily done it ourselves as you do miss out on drive time information
Guides were great and personable, very helpful. The hike to the The waterfall is would characterize as a moderate hike. It was a very well planned day excursion.
Hugo with Air Transat - amazing place, go early to avoid crowds. Water is a bit cold but less people.
We saw Rio Celeste, Llanos de Cortez waterfall and the sloth sanctuary. We also saw an eyelash pit viper, a mutt mutt bird, a toucan, and other animals. We had a fantastic time.
Kevin was an amazing tour guide! He made sure every single person was taken care of and taught us so much along the way. The hike was definitely worth the day trip. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!
Great experience! The tour guides did a great job and it was especially nice to have a small group making the day even more authentic.
The experience was AMAZING! Kevin was our tour guide and he great and knowledgeable! Definitely will tell my clients and friends to come and check you all out on their Trip to Costa Rica
Fantastic day! Miguel was the safest driver we have encountered in Costa Rica. Kevin was a great tour guide. We saw sloths, toucans and frogs on the hike. Highly recommend!!
