Rain Forest Canopy Tour From Tamarindo: Zipline, Hanging Bridge

Fantastic!! Booked the night before on a whim and they had a spot for the next day (in October). Was just two of us and when we arrived it remained just the two of us. The two guides (Edmond & Nino) were funny and kept us safe. They made the experience very fun and light hearted with their jokes as it was my friend's first time ziplining. Would reccomend!

It was my first time trying Ziplining and it was fun. It was close to Marriott, and that is why we chose it, it turned out to be a good decision. lots of attention to safety and lots of fun.

We were initially reluctant to do the zip line, but glad that we did. We met Shana and Luna who were wonderful right from the moment we called on the phone till the end of the trip. Our guide Edward was fantastic. We got to do seven zip lines, two hanging bridges and a freefall. The fall is a heartstopper, but overall a great thrill. This is only about 15 minutes away from the Marriott Guanacaste- really should be a recommendation from the hotel given the proximity (and reasonable price). Altogether a wonderful afternoon experience.

My friend Susie and I; two former ballerinas used to flying across stages and being lifted by partners decided to try ziplining near Playa Avellanas on my last full day in Costa Rica, and it was a whole different kind of flying! Susie had ziplined before, but it was my first time, so I was definitely nervous. We found Canopy Pinilla because they had flexible tour times and made booking super easy through WhatsApp and were close by to where we were staying at one life villas. Edward and Nano made the experience unforgettable; fun, funny, and reassuring the entire time. They teased us, added some extra thrills (including a little bridge shaking 😅), but always made me feel completely safe. They also captured amazing action photos that I’ll cherish forever. Ending the tour with ice-cold water and fresh pineapple was the perfect touch. One of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip highly recommend.

The adventure was good for beginners. It was not very long. The tour guides definitely made it fun and exciting 😃

Great staff. We went for 830 am reservation and were the only ones there. It is a very quick zip line experience, approximately took at 40 min start to finish. Only 1 hanging bridge.

So fun! The guides were the absolute best. I felt very safe even though I have a crazy fear of heights. Highly reccomend!

Great . Guides were awesome . We weren’t offered the Tarzan rope or the free fall But other than that it was as expected

Great guides and lines but the Tarzan swing and free fall weren’t open and we didn’t know until we were there which was a shame.

The guides were great and gave us first timers confidence.

We were two 68 year old friends, one of whom hadn’t done zip never done a zipline and was a bit nervous. Eduardo and Nano greeted us warmly on arrival and immediately got us into our harnesses and told us where to put our hands and when and how to slow down. The first line is short and easy, and put us at ease. We even did one line upside down and laughed the entire way-never thought I’d do it but it was so much fun. Nano took my camera got great photos and a few videos so we can relive the fun! Safe, fun, and appropriate for all ages from kids to seniors like us!

We had a great time. The guides were safe and funny. It was reasonably priced. They provided a few surprises to keep us on our toes, and some fresh pineapple at the end. I'd recommend it.

This was a great experience for my family which includes an 8 year old first timer. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We had a blast!

The Zip lining was great but we had to change our day and did this within the correct time window and we were charged twice for this. Not sure if it is the Zip line company or Viator! I would never use Viator or again they string yo along saying they have moved it to the next level but still waiting for a refund of the double charge 5 months later!

We had a great time on this tour! The guides were friendly and did a great job distracting our anxious 10 year old. The course was fun and our family loved it.

Great guys. Very fun. Felt very safe a comfortable. It's a pretty small course so there were about 6 zip lines and then some bridges and a jump. Took us about 45 minutes to get through the whole thing.

Thrilling experience flying through the monkey filled trees of Costa Rica! Tour guides made it even more exciting throwing in some nice surprises for us along the way. Would recommend if you’re looking to get out of your comfort zone!

This experience was great for our first time ziplining. The guides Eduardo and Nano put safety first and explained everything. They were patient with us when we were a little apprehensive. They took my phone and took pictures and video of us on the ziplines which was an added bonus! I knocked off a star because we had to change our original date and they charged us twice and we are still trying to get a refund.

Safe environment with professionals that knew how to manage our group. Always open to help with pictures and landscape questions.

This was so fun! Perfect length and height for my 4 year old and husband who is scared of heights. We all had an amazing time and they were so kind and patient! Highly suggest!

It’s a fun zip line through the rainforest. The guides were nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. They were so engaging that two hours felt like five minutes. At the end, they gave us fresh sweet watermelon, which I did not expect in water.

Great experience not far from the JW. The lines were fun and the bungee drop made it even better (not everyone did that one) but my 5 year old did! Above all else the three tour guides were professional safe and fun. We might even do it again later this week! I tip my hat to the entire experience

We went with our family, 5 adults and 5 kids and it was a blast. The guides where absolutely amazing and the track was a great length.

We took our son for his first zip lining experience here and it was great! The staff were fun, patient, and everything felt very safe. The zip lines were definitely on the easier side and more geared to beginners just to be aware of.

Great fun! It was my first time zip lining over anything but water. Eduardo and the others were very nice and encouraging, although he practically had to push me off the platform for the free fall! (It was scary!) We had a group of about 10 people and enjoyed meeting them. It was a great couple of hours!

The team was very friendly and was well done. This is a beginner type course so not overly difficult or long.

The guides were interactive and made jokes. We had a party of 6. The my were friendly and took videos for us. I would definitely book through them again.

Eduard and Nano were great guides and really encouraged our kids. It was the perfect level of adventure for a 5 and 7 year old- they loved the free fall and upside-down zipline. The day has been a central highlight and memory of their trip, as well as ours. Side note: we showed up without a reservation on a weekday- based on others' reviews. There was one group ahead of us but it was a reasonable wait in the shade of the forest. They were very accommodating, although I'm sure they prefer reservations so they can plan their day.

The wonderful ladies in charge were very professional and so likeable. The two guys were so funny and relaxed us during a fantastic tour. They speak English, Spanish, and French. We chatted afterwards. Great afternoon.

We had a great experience at Rain Forest Canopy Tour. Our tour guides, Eduard and Nano, were both friendly and fun but also safety-oriented. The two of us had tried to zip line the afternoon before, but when we arrived and it was pouring rain, they told us that we could come back in the morning, no problem. The tour involved some regular ziplines as well as some fun surprise elements to make it even more thrilling. The tour finished off with some freshly sliced pineapple. We highly recommend this experience for anyone staying in the area!

From start to finish, this tour was outstanding! The staff was extremely helpful and fun. They worked together seamlessly to give our family an unforgettable experience. The monkeys were all over the place so that was an added bonus! They took the f out of fear and put it in Family Fun! I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone in the area!

Highly recommend!! We hd a wonderful time on our first zip lining experience. The staff, Able, Nana and Edward. were all amazing. They made us all feel comfortable and loved the whole adventure. Our experience included zip lining, bungee jump and swinging bridges. The cold water and fresh pineapple at the end were delicious on a hot day.
