An excellent transportation company. They always arrived early and helped us with the luggage. We also booked tours to Paloverde national park and Rincon De La Vieja which were also excellent. We received a discount on the tours since we also booked airport transportation. We would definitely use them again

Our drivers to and from the airport to Tamarindo were great! They were both early to pick us up and offered to stop for us to go to an ATM or to get food. It was really nice.
We used this company to transfer us from LIR to Playa Negra. The driver was excellent and very helpful (offered to stop at a supermarket on the way!), the van was clean and well maintained with functioning seatbelts, and the whole booking process was easy with excellent communication.
We had a great experience with our transfers from the Liberia airport to our resort in Tamarindo. They were excellent with communication. Our drivers both ways were polite and on time. We would use them again and highly recommend this service.
4.8/5 It would have been great if the sprinter was cooled down for our arrival and departure but nonetheless the service was great for a 1hr ride to Tamarindo for a party of 10 (5 couples) Will be booking again and referring to other travel agents as well for their clients. Adding champagne was a great touch!

BUYER BEWARE!! Worst company ever! I paid exta for a private transfer for my daughter & I from the Liberia Costa Rica airport to the Riu Guanacaste and the driver stopped to play the lottery while leaving us alone in the van where we had no idea of where we were. He then spent the whole ride complaining to us about how poor he was and how little he is paid so that we would tip him more. Very uncomfortable and didn't feel safe!!

When we landed, we spent roughly an hour with customs and baggage claim. Our driver was incredibly patient and communicated with us via whatsapp. I am unsure if I would recommend this for older people. There is a lot of quick starting and stopping. If you’re with younger people, it’s very safe and super fun! Love chatting with our driver.
Carlos was awesome. He is a very good Driver gives you necessary information for first time person in Costa Rica and heads up on best shopping places and such so you don't end up paying to much for random things.
We used Guanacaste Viajes and Tours for our transportation between the airport and the RIU. Our driver to the resort was Erick and to the airport was German. Both did a great job. Very safe, and a great job of navigating all of the obstacles on the road to the Riu resorts. When both drivers found out I could speak some Spanish, then they did most of their commuincating in Spanish. I was thrilles and it was great practice for me. But when needed, they also had no problem speaking English. Would highly recommend them.
Very organized company and transported us to and from the airport safe and sound. Emails were provided as updates giving us the driver's name and car information and let us know when the driver had arrived. Overall a great experience
We have used them before and had good service with on time pick ups and vans cars. My only complaint is the van on this trip had a very weak ac. It could hardly keep up on a hot Costa Rica day. The driver was great.
Prompt on-time service with a friendly driver. The vehicle was well maintained. Our only critic is that it was a bit small for 4 passengers and as such we would have preferred a van instead of an SUV

We shuttled from our place in Hacienda Pinilla to Liberia airport. Service was excellent. On time (a few minutes early even). Comfortable new vehicle with lots of room. Safe, efficient, polite driver. We will be using many more times and trying some of the tours as well
This is my fifth trip to Costa Rica, and the fifth time that I have used Manuel and Guanacaste Viajes. They continue to excel in transportation in Costa Rica. Once again they showed up at the airport early, and were awaiting our arrival.. great communication with the driver, texting you where they are at, but also a picture of what they look like, saves you from searching through the 100 drivers, trying to get your business , when you walk out of the terminal. Prompt professional courteous, you just can't ask for more in a transportation company. Once again Manuel, thank you for the excellent service, and thank you Jose for being such an excellent driver. Shuttle van arrived before the time requested which was amazing. Once we loaded up and got in, the van didn’t start. After a couple times and a phone call, one of us got off the van and helped a hotel employee push the van twice to kick start the engine. Once the van started, our drive was smooth. No traffic on the way and we arrived at the airport a half hour before we needed to. Our driver was professional and kind the whole time. I’d definitely use them again.

SUCH an easy transfer experience. We used the transfer to go to and from the diria resort in Tamarindo from the Liberia airport. On our way there our driver was responsive to calls and texts, and we had a seamless ride. He even helped us carry a heavy suitcase up to our walk up rental! Our kids made mooing noises every time they saw a cow and he was so patient. He was so nice, I feel badly that I don’t remember his name! On our way back to the airport we had Jose driving us, and he was so pleasant. He loaded all of our bags for us, and was chatting with our kids while we were getting ready to leave. 10/10 recommend! Our kids are two and four.
For my first visit to Costa Rica back in 2016 I hired Manuel to provide transportation to and from the Liberia Airport and for daily transport. I just came back from my second visit to Costa Rica. This time our group of 12 stayed in Tamarindo and of course Manuel along with his drivers Jose and Santos provided transportation for our group. Excellent safe service at affordable rates. We used this company for multiple transfers between our short trips during our visit to Costa Rica. Very organized, dependable, courteous drivers. Always on time and I never had to follow up. Their vans were always clean. Pricing also reasonable compared to other transfer companies. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because one of the drivers was asking me for full payment and didn’t seem to know how he was getting paid. Minor issue but resulted in extra unnecessary and uncomfortable phone calls for a customer. Overall would recommend!
The drivers could speak some English and offered suggestions for local places to explore. Also, very respectful and safe driving.
