Showtime Tamarindo was nothing short of amazing! Our driver, Yeremy Castillo, was waiting for us when we arrived. He welcomed us to Costa Rica, loaded our luggage, and offered cold water to all of us. The van was very clean & comfortable. Along the way to our destination, Yeremy pointed out sights, and shared interesting facts of Costa Rica. We enjoyed our ride & were so happy to meet Yeremy! Would 100% recommend booking with Showtime Tamarindo!!!

A family of 30 went to Tamarindo for a wedding. We hired Showtime Tamarindo to transport us around during the 9 days we were here. We needed 3-4 vans at a time and Marvin, Jeremy, and their team were amazing. They were accommodating, patient, kind, and so much more during the time we spent in their vans. Their service is the best I have ever seen. Highly recommend!!

We utilized this transportation for our group of 9 to go from Playa Flamingo to Liberia Airport and Jeremy was such a wonderful driver and made us all feel comfortable. He was kind and even stood outside his vehicle when we had to make a pit stop to use the restroom. We felt very safe and he was top notch! We will always try to use this company because of the cleanliness of the vehicle and will always request Jeremy !

We used this service on our honeymoon to take us to and from the Liberia Airport to our destination in Santa Teresa. Marvin made the instructions to find the driver very clear and we had no issues upon arrival. Our driver, Jeremy, was awesome! He was very accommodating to when we needed to stop and was friendly. It was quite a long drive and we were able to learn a lot about Costa Rica from him which was an added plus! I highly recommend using this service!

We made a reservation for a private van to pick us at the Liberia airport, drinks included. When we arrived, no such vehicle was there. However, there were dozens of other transportation services waiting outside the airport to pick up other arriving passengers, so we asked around and finally found someone who knew the company we thought we had hired. He called them for us, and when we got them on the phone they informed us that they had no record of our reservation. They asked us how we made the reservation. When we told them it was through TripAdvisor, they told us that was the problem, specifically that TripAdvisor frequently fails to convey reservations to the local service provider. Fortunately, they found us other transportation to Tamarindo, but it sure as heck wasn't the fancy private van with free drinks and and an experienced guide that we had paid for. Instead, we were hustled across a sandy parking lot, dragging our bags behind us, and crammed into the back seat of a small sedan with no a/c, driven by a local who couldn't speak a word of English. We were relieved to get to our hotel in one piece, but it certainly wasn't in the style we expected, nor worthy of the price that we paid in advance. The moral of this cautionary tale is that you don't need to use TripAdvisor. There are numerous transportation and tour guide options available online or through your hotel without the need of going through a third-party!

Marvin and his crew were spot on, from when we first communicated with him months ahead of our trip thru our stay. He was always quick to respond and coordinated our stay from getting lunch, fruit, groceries and alcohol the first day from the airport thru the week of excursions, coordinating taxis m, tours and providing so much history of Costa Rica. He is the most personable guide, that when you leave CR you feel a special connection to him and his company. I highly recommend this company and will be sure to share his information with any friend/family looking for a tour guide when visiting Costa Rica.

Humberto was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. He was on time, the car was clean. Water was cold, could not have been better. Also, Showtime was $60 LESS than the hotel’s suggested car transfer company.

Excellent service and maybe the lowest price you could found! We reserved it from tamarindo to Liberia for an activity ans they wait for you during it. You can also ask them to stop for some groceries or lunch and the wifi is free in the van! We really felt secure and the people are really kind! Definitely recommand it.

My family and I used Jose and Marvin for all transportation during our week in Tamarindo. They are both fantastic and we highly recommend them. They are safe, courteous, remarkably punctual, and trustworthy. Costa Rica is not a place you want to do you own driving. Leave it up to these guys, they make your life real easy, and Jose will teach your kids plenty of Spanish.

Jose Rivas picked us up in Liberia and took us on many adventures during our visit to Costa Rica. He is friendly and kind. Taught us Spanish. Was very attentive to our every need and want. We will return to Costa Rica and we will request that he be our driver. He became a part of our family.

From start to finish, another amazing trip to Costa Rica with the help of Marvin and his crew. He followed my flight, saw we were arriving early, and made sure he was there waiting with a smile when we exited the airport. Marvin is the kind friend you want to have, especially when you are traveling to a foreign place. I was there for a while with my 2 boys and I felt safe traveling with him. He has connections to amazing adventures and can arrange for anything from a golf cart rental to a ride to the Volcanos. You won’t be disappointed, I promise, in fact you’ll return and call him again. I do.

We booked the private transfer from Liberia to our hotel in Tamarindo. José was a driver! We already had a tour set up with another company but Jose was so nice & kind that we changed our plans and booked the tour with him! We went to Rincon de la Vieja and Jose was attentive to show my daughters the monkeys, iguanas, local trees and fruits. That was the highlight of the trip because we got to see things we wouldn’t on a regular tour. Jose had water and cold drinks for us in the car and took us to a souvenir shop to buy local crafts and coffee. He took pictures of us when we couldn’t have our phone on us. Jose also suggested to go to playa Conchal for the day and he took us there. We also used Jose to go back to the airport. He was always on time, a smile on his face and willing to help and please. We will definitely book tours with Jose again!
