I booked this charter for a birthday celebration and it was amazing! Everyone on board was so nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this charter!

The experience was incredible. The crew was very accomodating and fun to be around. The bartender made some of the best drinks we had the whole trip! The boat was in great shape and the ride was spectacular. Next time we would book the 8 hour trip to experience all that the area has to offer! The crew was exceptional with knowledge of the surrounding areas as well as accommodating for the entire family.

We had a great time on the boat Lupo! We did a lot of snorkeling, a little fishing and playing in the water. The crew was super helpful and courteous!

Amazing sportfishing experience in Playa Flamingo. Awesome crew - they made sure we had a great time and caught big fish! We caught 3 good sized mahi mahi on our fishing excursion with Ocean Life. It was an experience we will remember forever. They even made us a delicious lunch and snacks and made sure we stayed hydrated the entire trip. Highly recommend this trip to anyone! We had the most amazing time aboard the Lupo with Captain Jonathan, David and Nathan! Our family will talk about this experience forever I think! The team was fantastic from start to finish! We had drinks while sailing out of the marina and into the Pacific, they cast a couple lines out back of the boat and when we had fish on, we were able to reel in the lines and we caught Mackerel and Tuna, they filleted the Mackerel right there and it was was so delicious and obviously fresh. We moored in a private area and were able to snorkel and saw a sting ray, sea turtle and many tropical fish. The vibes were so laid back and the crew so hospitable! We just relaxed, saw the beautiful landscape and then we had a nice dinner of fish, shrimp cocktail, fresh fruit, plantains and salsa Fresca, they also had simple quesadillas, which are always a hit! The fresh caught mackerel sashimi was my fave! Then we saw the most beautiful sunset and the crew took several family photos for us with the landscape and the beautiful sunset! Everyone from ages 13 to 50 had an absolute blast! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

We had the best day in Costa Rica. We booked a full day charter and the crew was Amazing. We cruised the coast to a fantastic snorkeling spot with sea turtles had an on board lunch including sashimi with the fish that we just caught! Also had a Dolphin pod riding the boat waves. Open bar with amazing bartender Elmer. Nathan was the best guide he told us all about Costa Rica. And we can’t forget Captain Alex! This crew never let a moment go by without making sure we had anything we needed. I wish I could give them 10 Stars this is a must do.

Entire family had an incredible time on our sunset cruise. The staff are beyond excellent. Great cocktails from the bartender, snorkeling was fun and he provided lots of guidance, Captain took us on a great ride. The guys were very friendly and provided lots of good info and conversation. The food provided was really good. The yacht is amazing. We took so many pics from every part of the yacht.

We booked this for a private family celebration for my daughter’s sweet 16 and loved everything! The crew was amazing and took great care of everyone. The Lupo was super clean and beautiful. My family and I loved every minute of it. Highly recommend! Totally worth it.

We had an absolute blast fishing out of Playa Flamingo on the Jackpot. Captain Javier and his team, Flacco and Kelsi, run a top-tier operation. They are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we were on the fish all day. We ended the day with 17 fish, including a massive 120lbs Sailfish and a beautiful 45lbs Mahi Mahi. While the fishing was world-class, the highlight for us was how Kelsi and Flacco interacted with our 11-year-old son. They were so patient and helpful, making sure he felt like part of the crew. If you’re looking for a charter that combines expert fishing with a family-friendly atmosphere, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

The crew is fantastic! They are full of energy and will take care of anything that you need! They had the Lilypad set out immediately with noodles and paddle boards. They ate a great group and we will definitely use them again

Our afternoon aboard the Lupo was nothing short of incredible. The crew were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. They mentioned we might see whales—and they weren’t wrong. Witnessing a mother and her calf breaching and playing in the water for nearly an hour was truly a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience we’ll never forget.Drinks were plentiful, lunch was delicious, and the sunset was an absolute highlight. This tour is an absolute must‑do.

My wife and I and another couple spent a fantastic afternoon on the water with David, Alex and Elmer and we could not have asked for a better experience. The boat is very comfortable and the food/drink exceeded our expectations. But most importantly, the crew was welcoming and great guys to guide us along the beautiful coastline. Six of us went out with the crew of ocean life. We had the best time. We snorkled, floated, ate and drank. Seeing the other boats with so many people on board made us so grateful we had an entire boat to ourselves. We absolutely would highly recommend and we will book again. We had a great trip on the Lupo II for deep sea fishing! Great crew! They were very helpful to everyone where our group’s ages ranged from 12 to 80. We caught a lot of fish! I highly recommend this group for fishing in Costa Rica out of Playa Flamingo.

We went fishing on the Lupo II and had an outstanding experience. From the moment we boarded, the crew was professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. They knew exactly where to go and worked nonstop to make sure everyone had a great time. The boat was clean and well maintained, the equipment was in excellent condition, and the crew was fantastic with our group—patient, encouraging, and happy to explain things for anyone who needed it. We caught multiple fish (which made for a delicious sashimi, ceviche and grilled tuna lunch the next day!!) and had an absolute blast the entire trip. Highly recommend the Lupo II if you’re looking for a top-notch fishing experience for your family.

This boat excursion was absolutely amazing! The snorkeling was fun, swimming/playing in the water was incredible, and the sunset was simply breathtaking! The lunch was delicious and generous, with great variety and plenty of drinks. The true highlight was when dolphins appeared alongside our boat, leaping and playing in the waves - truly magical! The staff made this trip special. They were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. Their enthusiasm was contagious and they ensured everyone had an amazing time. A fantastic excursion in Costa Rica. The crew is amazing. They are very attentive and catered to exactly what we wanted to do. The food and drinks were amazing. I would come back and do this 10x over. I have done several private charters in the Caribbean and this was definitely the best value.

Top notch boat. The captian Byron along with crew Steven and David were great. We had a group of 14 and everyone had a blast. Food and drinks were excellent. Would highly recommend. I will definently use again the next time I visit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Absolutely Amazing Full Day Adventure!** Just returned from the most incredible full day sunset cruise with Ocean Life Adventure Tours in Playa Flamingo, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! **The Crew:** The captain and two mates were absolutely extraordinary - friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local marine life and area. Their passion for what they do really showed throughout the entire day. **Activities & Wildlife:** We had the most amazing wildlife encounters! Saw a whale with her baby (absolutely breathtaking!), spotted playful dolphins, went snorkeling in a gorgeous protected cove with crystal clear, warm water, and even caught a couple of blackfin tuna while fishing. The snorkeling was fantastic - the water was so beautiful and warm. **Food & Drinks:** The crew treated us like royalty! Fresh fruit was waiting for us when we boarded, and they had a fantastic open bar with piña coladas, margaritas, mojitos, and plenty of non-alcoholic options. For lunch, they prepared delicious chicken and beef tacos with rice, beans, and salad - everything was fresh and flavorful. **The Experience:** We spent the full day enjoying water activities and fun, then ended with a perfect slow sunset cruise back to the marina. The boat was spacious and comfortable - even with 18 people, there was plenty of room to relax and spread out. This was truly a full day of water fun and relaxation. This was a first class offshore fishing trip. Captain Byron and first mate Joshua are real pros. They got us on the fish early, we landed five sailfish including two doubles! Went for food later and got a 30+ pound goliath grouper to bring home. Lunch was awesome, so was the ceviche they made out of some of our smaller fish. Second and third mates David and Austin were super helpful and courteous. The boat is awesome and the crew really made it a special day for us. We had four adults, five teenagers. I highly recommend Lupo II for a great full day trip out of flamingo Beach! Easy morning drive from Tamarindo.

We had an awesome time! The crew was amazing, from the time we booked until the time we departed. The food was delicious and we even ate the tuna our grandson caught, by the way was his 13th. Birthday. They even surprised us with a birthday cake! I definitely recommend Ocean Life!

I started to email with Valentina a few weeks before our trip inquiring about the boat charter and what it entailed. She was very responsive and so pleasant to interact with. We booked the morning tour that lasted about 4hrs. I was with my husband, and two teens. (14 & 16) The marina was really easy to find. (Right before playa flamingo). The crew and the captain were at the boat and ready to greet us. They gave us a bit of an orientation of the boat, and what the plan was for the morning. The plan was to get out on the water, snorkel and hopefully see some whales, dolphins, sea turtles and any other marine life. The crew was so attentive right away, offering us a plethora of beverages, both alcohol and non. The boat had a big front deck with chairs and a bench to sit on. The inside had an air conditioned living room with a kitchen and bathroom. It was all very comfortable! As soon as we got out on the water, the crew put some lines out and very shortly after they caught some black fin tuna and they asked our son if he wanted to reel it in, which he very happily did. They caught a couple more fish and cooked them up for our lunch. It was so cool to catch our meal and eat it within a couple of hours. They had a great spread for lunch & snacks. There were wraps, chicken, beef, fresh fruit, chips & dip, and more! They did ask if we had any food sensitivities, which I thought was great. It was quite windy the day we went out, so unfortunately the snorkelling conditions weren’t ideal and marine life didn’t make an appearance, but that’s just the risk you take when booking tours that rely on Mother Nature. If you’re thinking of booking a private boat tour, I would highly recommend Ocean Life, they were absolutely amazing from start to finish.

We had an unforgettable experience with the Luca Blu Crew! Our group consisted of two families — four adults, a 17-year-old, a 16-year-old, a 14-year-old, and a nine-year-old — and it was the perfect outing for all ages. The food was absolutely amazing, with fresh, delicious dishes that left everyone in awe. The cocktails and drinks were perfectly crafted, adding to the overall experience. The service was top-notch, with the team going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of throughout the day. We spent time floating on the lily pad, fishing, and even enjoyed some freshly caught sashimi — all of it was incredible. To top it off, the sunset was breathtaking. This was easily one of our favorite days in Costa Rica, and the hospitality we received was exceptional. We highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the area!
