Our experience with Sebastian’s Unique Tours was absolutely exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our time in Costa Rica. We booked two completely private experiences, and from beginning to end, the level of personalization, knowledge, and attention to detail was outstanding. Our first day took us deep into the incredible Costa Rican rainforest, where we saw poison dart frogs, sloths, and an extraordinary variety of wildlife. On our second day, we did a private crocodile-spotting experience, which was equally impressive. Seeing these incredible animals in their natural environment was something we will remember for years to come. We had an amazing day with Sebastian on the Palo Verde Boat Safari. The wildlife and river life was exceptional. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant, great atmosphere and food. A special treat for us was that Sebastian brought his sweet daughter. We were one family for a few hours. Very special. Thank you!

Communication with Sebastian was great! He gave us all the details we needed and answered all our questions every time we reached out to him. The private tour we booked was extra special because we didn’t have to deal with any crowds and had our own private transportation. Sebastian had Manuel do the tour for us and he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and everything we did that day. We really enjoyed our day!

Great time doing the ATV tour and Rainforest tour. Had the chance to see monkeys, rainfalls, and come very close to a baby sloth. The local food that was included with our Rainforest tour was the best food we had in Costa Rica! Manuel was our driver to and from the airport and he was great!

My tour with Sebastian was absolutely amazing!! His attention to detail is fantastic!!! While he drove me to my excursion he explained the culture of Costa Rica and he stopped and showed me Cashew trees and sugar cane fields. Once we arrived at the excursion, he was with me taking pics and videos!!! I have so many pics and videos which adds to the total experience!! He treated me like family. First time in Costa Rica and thank Goodness we found Sebastian!! Not only were the tours great and personalized to our needs but him and his group always on time, I felt safe, and prices were unbeatable for everything they offered! Manuel took our group of moms and daughters on a fun-filled day learning about Costa Rican coffee, cocoa farms and the rain forest. We laughed a lot, learned a bit and thoroughly enjoyed the time exploring the beauty of Costa Rica. We even did car karaoke on the way home!! If you are looking for a customized experience. We highly recommend.

Sebastian planned a very special and personalized day for my husband and I’s 25th anniversary. Manuel was our guide and he could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. We had THE BEST day with him and it was just us, no one else! Highly recommend!!

We had two fantastic tours arranged by Sebastian. We were able to do the jungle tour and just by good fortune, came across some sloths in the wild. Without disturbing them (they do move very slow as in the movies!!), we were able to observe and take great pictures of them. What an experience. Even though Sebastian was unable to conduct the tour personally, his guy, Pablo was great. When United Airlines cancelled our flight at night so we were stuck at LIR airport for the night and Sebastian could not find us a driver, he volunteered to pick us up from the airport and deliver us to the hotel himself...what a great guy. Next time we visit Costa Rica, I am going to have him arrange everything, from transportation to tour etc. Thank you.

It’s easy to see why it’s called “Sebastian’s unique tours”, it really is unique and special, and the communication from the first moment until the last was perfect. We got a phone call when he was delayed due to traffic problems. Sebastian is such an incredible man, so many interesting stories, speaks excellent English and the conversations we had with him gave us so much, we learned so much about everything in Costa Rica, plants, trees, animals, geography, history and a lot more. He also explained a lot of the agriculture and farming when we passed the huge properties of Del Monte and their pineapple and watermelon plantations. And of course he showed us the Costa Rican “car massage” on some of the roads. The car was perfect, really comfortable and his driving is excellent, felt completely safe all the time in the sometimes heavy traffic. Sebastian adjusted the day to exactly what we wanted to see and do. The tour itself, Palo Verde Wildlife River Safari, was magic with such beautiful nature with so many different birds, monkeys, iguanas and crocodiles. After the tour Sebastian took us to a truly genuine local restaurant in the middle of nowhere and there we had the best traditional Costa Rican food we had on the whole month in Costa Rica. He also showed us some fantastic, hilarious trees (“even nature is perverted”, right Sebastian…). If you want a great tour and learn a lot you should book Sebastian’s, we really recommend him. Having a private tour, it was just me and my girlfriend, gives you so much more, very peaceful out on the river and gives you the possibility to ask as many questions as you like. Our adventures started going on a Sloth and Waterfall Tour with Sebastian, absolutely incredible! Sebastian picked us up from our condo, his SUV was so well maintained and comfortable. On our drive to our first destination, Sebastian told us all about the area and many interesting facts about Costa Rica. We arrived at Catarata Llanos de Cortes waterfall, what a beautiful tranquil place. The water was crystal clear with a sandy base, perfect to enjoy this magical place. From there we drove to our rainforest tour. This was just amazing! Our guide took us through the paths showing us the beautiful wonders of nature. We saw amazing plants and flowers native to the area. We saw frogs, hummingbirds, snakes and of course seeing the sloths. There was a young sloth on a lower branch that we got to take the most amazing pictures with. Nature is perfect! On our way back to Coco we stopped for an amazing Costa Rican lunch…..so delish! Such and incredible day. Sebastian is literally the guy to know if you want to go anywhere. He takes pride in his work and ensures all his clients have the best experience possible. Sebastian is our go to guy here in Costa Rica!!!!

Sebastian will treat you like family and show you an awesome time around Papagayo and the surrounding areas. Great for a 2-3 day experience. He knows his way around the best sights and food. He's also great with kids. Highly recommend.

Sebastian is an absolute amazing person, very professional very considerate when it comes to prices. My family and I did the full day private tour and it was just amazing. Sebastian and his wife were very nice and fun to do the day trip with my two Boys. We did a full day adventure tour with Manuel as our tour guide, who was incredible! We had the best time! Highly recommend Sebastian’s tours! It was the best day of our vacation! We had so much fun we booked a second day to go explore the island.

Sebastián and are Driver Pablo were awesome.. They customized everything were trying to do. We were able to see waterfall sloths monkeys and eat lunch at an awesome local restaurant. Later they dropped us at Tabacan resort in Arenal and then brought us back late the next day to Guanacaste after white water rafting in the Bolsa river. Both pabo and Sebastián are great guys and made us fell welcome in costa rica

I’ve known Sebastian and his group for a couple of years, taken many tours with him and rented golf carts also. His tours are always exceptionally fun and professionally run. Various members of my family and friends have visited Costa Rica and always had first rate experiences with Sebastian and his guides. Adventure tours, fishing, four wheel ATV tours, airport transfers whatever you want, Sebastian will set you up. I’ve lived in and visited Costa Rica for many years and taken many other tours before I met Sebastian and i have never written a review of anyone until now. If you’re coming to Guanacaste and need transfers or tours I wouldn’t use anyone else.

I can’t say enough good things about Sebastian Tours! The best thing is that it’s a private tour with just your group and the prices are VERY affordable!! Sebastian is so amazing and accommodating to all your requests. I booked a walking rainforest tour 2 months in advance, then 2 days before the excursion my husband wanted to do atvs 🥴🫣. But Sebastian jumped in to action and made it happen!!! My husband wanted to add a boat excursion the next day and Sebastian made it happen! He was always cheerful and exciting for each new adventure we went on! Every meet up he was prompt and explained everything we would be doing. All the reviews are true…Sebastian is THE MAN of Costa Rica!! If you’re looking for the best it’s him!!

Sebastian was a great guide and got us to all of excursions from 930AM till 5 PM most days 10/10 trip would definitely do again and for all of your needs Sebastian is your guy.

We contacted Sebastian to set up a private tour to waterfalls and to see wildlife. Communication with Sebastian was great. He is very thorough! Manuel (our driver and guide) was absolutely amazing. He picked us up on time and went out of his way to do everything possible to make it a great trip. My husband got sick and he even stopped at Walmart so we could see the pharmacist and get meds for him. The waterfall was beautiful and we got to see so many animals (which was my bucket list for this trip). We saw sloths, a pit viper, poisonous dart frogs, etc. We also had an amazing lunch that was included. It was definitely worth the money!

What an incredible day we had with Sebastian! He communicated so well with us and made sure we had a unique experience! We went on a river boat trip and saw alligators and monkeys and had the most unique, experiences ever! We were staying in a really nice place with excursions that were triple his price! After our boat trip we had a fun local lunch with the best chicken I have tasted! So tender and delicious! Sebastian took an interest in my kids and was so fun to have with us! He has so many great stories and knows all the locals! Another day he coordinated for us to take a boat out and go deep sea fishing, they provided the best snacks on a fun beach. They did whatever we wanted! The captain was so flexible and so fun to be with. We ended with a dance party on the boat! We enjoyed the boat so much we had Sebastian coordinate us to be dropped off to Witches Rock Beach a couple days later so my teenage boys could play in the big waves! Such a great time for our family. So glad I found Sabatian before our trip. We talked and even FaceTime before to make sure we were set. We ended up canceling our other plans made through the resort and Sabastian was able to do it all for us!!! Thanks Sabastian my 6 year old wants to move there! Thanks for making it so memorable!

Sebastian was amazing and is truly part of our family now! He picked us up from the airport and instantly we felt connected to him! When he dropped us off, he cleaned our pool! And then took the time to take us grocery shopping. We rented a golf cart from him and did 2 excursions with him and his beautiful family. The experience was amazing and the food great. It was the most personalized and wonderful experience we have had on a trip. He took care of our every need! My husband ended up injured on the trip and Sebastian had him into a clinic and seen within minutes. He stayed to translate and made sure he got the best care! I cannot say enough about Sebastian! We miss and love you! Can't wait to see you next March!

Sabastian has become a “go-to” for us each time we visit Costa Rica. He has planned multiple private tours for us and he is so interesting with his knowledge of the area. We had to make a last minute switch of plans and his attitude was “no worry, I’ll take care of you”! He will take care of you and if it can be done in Costa Rica he will make it happen. We went on a jungle tour that included all the animals you’d imagine and he has connections everywhere so we had a special lunch made for us in the rain forest. The guys went fishing with his crew and brought back grouper, tuna, red snapper 👍Everything he does, he does to make your visit smooth and fun. Hello my friend! I’m missing you! Here is the review I wanted you to check it out before I started posting it. Let me know what you think. I am not sure a review can truly reflect the gratitude and love we have for Sebastian and his family. My son and I were in Costa Rica for 7 days and we hired Sebastian for 3 personalized excursions. He embraced us as family right away and made an effort to get to know us better. My son has shown interest in moving to CR and Sebastian made sure to show him the ins and outs of living there. All three outings with him were one on one and it really gave us an opportunity to get to know the area and truly experience the beauty of the area. Sebastian made us feel safe and he honored every request with professionalism and care. He embraced my son as if he was his own which made my momma's heart so happy. We had the time of our lives! Sebastian is an excellent tour guide! We did an all day fishing excursion and had a wonderful time!!! Sebastian and his team thought of everything—they had drinks in the cooler for us and lunch on the boat. We caught several fish—even my son caught a Mahi Mahi!!! Sebastian helped us get the fish filleted and we made ceviche from our catch! It was truly a trip of a lifetime! Sebastian provided a wonderful family oriented trip to the volcano and we saw sloths bluejeans, frogs and many other birds such as toucans and other wildlife. He was a wonderful and very knowledgeable tour guide.

We ended up spending the entire week with Sebastian and I have to say he made our trip to Costa Rica the most amazing vaction that my husband and I have had yet. I don't even know where to start. Sebastian's Unique tours are.... just that. I went to Costa Rica with my hubby and 24 of my friends to celebrate my 60th Birthday. We spent 2 days with Sebastian, each was unique in itself. He will design the perfect tour for you. From hiking in the rainforest, bathing in the hot springs, ziplining, horseback riding, herding Brahman, mud bathing, and more. We all had a grand time! Someone told him it was my birthday and I even got a cake! He should be the mayor as he knows everyone! Every one of the places that we visited we felt like we were visiting with family and friends. If you had a friend in Costa Rica who knew all about the land, where to eat, things to see, and truly amazing experiences that are unique to your friend, you would go with your friend, right? Well, spend 5 minutes with Sebastian, crew, and yes, his family at times and you will have just that. We got all that we paid for and more. Sebastian will remain "our guy" in Costa Rica that we can refer anyone to and when (not if) we return, we will connect with Sebastian again. An especially memorable trip was to a working cattle ranch - stem to stern, home cooked meals, joining in to help cook the CR ranch way, to scenery, to riding horses, to "wrangling" cattle, to ziplining - all in one day at this gorgeous, environmentally friendly and truly unique experience. Cannot say enough about the memories (sans the burro - inside joke you had to be there). I would highly recommend Sebastian et al. to anyone, everyone. It was an amazing experience seeing the land; meeting great people; eating amazing foods; learning the history of the area and exciting activities such as zip lining and horseback riding. Words can’t describe the awesome experience we had with this tour. Absolutely worth it!

When waiting for a pick up at the RIU Palace for another trip we met Sebastian who was picking some other guests up. So glad we crossed paths as we were looking to build our own trip and not one the package companies were selling. We wanted a river safari seeing crocodiles and monkeys, drive the some of the local towns to see more of Costa Rica, had lunch in a nice village and finally stopped off in Coco beach. Sebastian said we could either choose the trips on the website/ mix some up by adding stops on or just let him know what we require and he would come back with a plan and price. No problems at all it was a pleasure dealing with. We had a on time pick up at 7.30 to take us to the national park for a river safari, we saw a lot of crocodiles which came close to the boat, it was great to see them there the kids loved it, we met Monkeys as well and saw lots of other wildlife. From there we went to a village for a Costa Rican lunch, we was made so welcome and the food was great. We then looked at some towns on the way back before visiting Coco beach. It was great Sebastian could take us to Coco as the water taxi was charging $110 for a family, Sebastian did as part of the trip. I would highly recommend anyone to contact him as he will listen to what you want and tailor this around your budget, nothing is a problem and he made the trip fun. Much better to use him than the package companies as he is better value and more informative and takes you to places they don't visit, it's a beautiful country and I'm glad we shared this trip with him.

Sebastian and his team are amazing! First, they were patient with the arriving flight being delayed slightly and a small road block afterwards. The next day, we did the Sloth and Frog Tour in Bijagua and Abriham was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and Costa Rica in general. We saw lots of frogs and even a viper snake, and had an amazing lunch on the grounds. The highlight for me was seeing a baby sloth so up close 🤗.

Sebastian took our family to the waterfall and rain forest. It was a private tour and he customized it to our wishes. We loved the waterfall and twin forest. Sebastian will customize your tour to your interests. We travel all over the place and he was so definitely one of the best!

We had an amazing time driving the ATVs, horseback riding, zip lining, swimming in the hot springs, the water slide, etc.! I definitely recommend Sebastians Unique Tours because you get your money's worth and he is a very cool guy! Pura Vida!

We did the sloth and rainforest tour with Sebastian and his wife and I cannot say how happy we were. This was our first time in Costa Rica and didn’t know what excursions to book. I saw his reviews and took a chance and so happy!!! We were so welcomed we decided to book a second tour the following day with him. He customs his tours to your liking and treats you like family. We got to see so many animals and learn so much. Eat local food which was amazing and had so much fun. We are glad we didn’t book the hotel excursions. Because of Sebastian and his wife, we are returning end of year to book again :)

What an amazing 2 day's of excursion we had with Sebastian's Unique Tours. Last week we were on our annual girls trip and picked Costa Rica. As a Travel Advisor, I was looking for the best excursions with high rating for my group. I reached out to Sebastian the beginning of March. We designed 2 day customized excursions for the ladies. Day 1 - Hot Spring/Mud Bath, Waterfalls, and Rain-forest walking tour with lunch. Day - 2 White Water Rafting with lunch and dessert. Sebastian was prompt with picking us up both days at our resort. Both days were amazing and we were able to see the 2 volcanoes on the way to the rain-forest. I highly recommend to go on one of his tours if you're ever in Costa Rica. He is so cool and down to earth, I have gained a brother for life! I will be referring future Clients that visit Costa Rica to Sebastian. Thank you Sebastian for making our holiday in Costa Rica extra special.

I highly recommend Sebastian's unique tours in Costa Rica. Our wishlist included Zip Lining, rainforest tour and swimming in a waterfall. Sebastian helped us plan an itinerary to do all these and more with our own personal guide and transportation. We did not want to go in a large group and spend time doing activities that we were not keen on and going with Sebastian gave us the opportunity to customize our days in Costa Rica. At our own pace without being rushed. The rainforest tour was spectacular and our guide was a walking encyclopedia on the flora and fauna. He helped us get National Geographic quality pictures of Sloths, Howler Monkeys, Frogs, Toucans. Sebastian also organized an afternoon of sailing on a Catamaran that included snorkeling, visit to a pristine secluded beach and fantastic views of the sun setting over the Pacific. He personally picked us up at our hotel and kept us entertained throughout the journey. You can't go wrong if you go with Sebastian!
