Liberia Int. Airport, Private Shuttle One Way Or Round Trip

I traveled to Costa Rica for business and needed a reliable airport transfer. Sweet Costa Rica provided an outstanding service from start to finish. The driver arrived on time, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the ride was smooth and efficient. Their professionalism made it easy to stay on schedule and reach the airport without any stress. I would definitely use their service again on my next business trip.

Sébastien was a wonderful driver who gave us some excellent insights into Costa Rica and what activities would be better than others for a true Costa Rican adventure. When one of our family members realized they didn't have their phone, Sébastien turned around and brought it back to him. Superior service.

The driver was very friendly but it was the situation at the airport that made us very uncomfortable.. A canine sniffed us inside and sniffed our luggage after it was loaded into the can. Afters we loaded the van and waited for 30 or 40 minutes. Then they unloaded our luggage AGAIN and the dog sniffed it. The dog sniffed all inside the van and found nothing. We were delayed for over an hour.

Sebastian was my driver to Tamarindo. He was easy-going and down to earth, funny, and we had some great conversations about the country and culture as well as recommendations for what I was looking to do. - Prompt communication, punctual on arrival. - Also facilitated other activities using local connections. - Easy process - Local business Overall recommend getting your shuttle through them.

Our flight was delayed due to weather, and we missed our connection to Liberia. We were rerouted to San Jose, and Sweet Costa Rica came to our rescue. Paul was at our hotel early and with a smile after having driven all night to pick us up. He had a cooler with drinks and snacks, and chatted with us during the lengthy ride. We appreciate sweet Costa Rica and we love Paul!

They forgot us. There were about 50 people with signs at the airport and ours wasn’t there. There were lots of men standing around offering to help. One guy said he’d help find our driver and was speaking to him on the phone but it was hard to tell if he was just trying to get us to go with him and pay him separately even though we’d pre paid $270. That same guy said he knew the company and was speaking to them on the phone and they apparently thought it was a “pick up” at the hotel, not the airport, and they were on their way. It became clear quickly that that was a lie. We ended up waiting probably 45 min and the same guy that was trying to help us tried to pull up with Hyundai Tucson to drive my family of 5 including car seats. We refused and ended up booking a van right on premise. I spoke with the main guy on the phone (the one who forgot us) and he said he would refund. He even offered to pay for our other van but we said no just cancel and that’s why I’m giving 2 stars vs 1. A very chaotic and stressful start to our trip.

Smooth pickup and travel process from the airport to Tamarindo, friendly helpful driver, and a clean spacious vehicle. Would recommend.

Great experience. Driver was waiting for us at the airport exit and took us straight to his clean comfortable van. Provided free drinks and snacks. He was friendly and courteous.

The driver Paul was timely friendly and professional. He shared facts about Costa Rica and the surrounding country Nicaragua and Columbia . He shared info about the rain forest and the animals that inhabit as well as the environmental benefits. Excellent . I will request Paul for my return to the airport when I depart .

Sebastian is the best. Nobody told me how hard it can be to get around Costa Rica, but upon arriving my friends and I soon found out. Thanks to Sebastian we had the inside scoop on everything and were able to navigate everything safely. Plus he has great energy and free snacks and drinks!

We were picked up at the airport by one person in a company van and then driven to some “strip mall” looking place just outside the airport where we were handed off to a driver who didn’t speak English and seemed like he was driving his personal car. We were told “don’t worry he works for the company”.

I used this site to book airport pickup I booked same day early morning before my flight to Costa Rica, but the site doesn’t send over information quickly so when I landed the shuttle company didn’t have any information for me and nobody was waiting to pick me up. The people at the airport were exceptional and helped me contact the company to come fetch me and bc of that I’m giving 4 stars. The site needs to insert time blocks in the future to help avoid situations like this. The issue was fixed so I would give this company another try

Used sweet Costa Rica for our shuttle service from the airport to our hotel and then back to the airport. Communication was quick and thorough, very stress free. Pick up at both airport and hotel was painless and on time! Would recommend to anyone traveling around Costa Rica and needed a shuttle service. Sebastian and his crew are amazing.

The driver was waiting for me upon exiting the airport, which was a relief as the flight was over an hour delayed. No issues when asked to stop at the Auto Mercanto to pick up a few groceries. Overall a good experience and I will book the service again.

The driver and his companion were friendly upon meeting but didn’t engage in any conversation or offer any information about our destination. As we were about to arrive in Tamarindo we were rear ended by another vehicle. Another car came for us and we were dropped off at the hotel without any discussion about a possible discount for the inconvenience. The car was old and not very clean. Overall, a less than pleasurable experience!

My boyfriend and I did an all-day adventure with our tour guide Sebastian. We started at 0730 and finished by 1730. He took us to some waterfall spots where we hiked, cliff jumped, ate a delicious breakfast and lunch, and learned some really cool things about Costa Rica. We finished the day with a mud bath and hot springs. I highly recommend Sebastian for your tour guide. Thank you for our first experience in the beautiful country of Costa Rica! Pura Vida!!

It was the best experience we could asked for. We went to Tamarindo for a few days and it was definitely thanks to SWEET and specially to Sebastian (who’s the owner and local from Tamarindo), that we were able to do so many things and enjoy it so much! He provides the best advices on where to go and what to do. Excellent communication, super friendly, the best transportation and guide!
