Wonderful experience! My favorite tour in my whole life

Marlene was absolutely amazing! I had such a wonderful experience with her during my zip lining, hot springs, and horseback riding tour. It ended up being just the two of us, which made the entire day feel like such a personalized and special experience. She is so fun, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Costa Rica, its nature, and animals. I learned so much from her throughout the day! She also took incredible photos and videos of me, so I could fully enjoy every activity without worrying about capturing the moment myself. One of my favorite unexpected treats was learning about Costa Rican coffee beans, the different flavors, and the coffee-making process. Marlene made every part of the experience interesting and memorable. From the adventure and beautiful scenery to the animals, hot springs, horseback riding, and coffee experience, it was such a perfect day. Marlene truly made me feel like I was exploring Costa Rica with a friend. I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Costa Rica and looking for a fun, authentic, and personalized experience! 🇨🇷☕️🐴🌿

This was the most amazing day. We loved every minute of the experience. Our guide was amazing from the moment she picked us up until the second she dropped us back at our hotel. So many great experiencesz wildlife, culture, adventure, relaxation and more.

Everything about this experience was amazing! Definitely book if you're looking for a taste of everything and don't have much time. I can't say enough about how wonderful Marlena is. She's very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and made the experience for me and my girlfriend something we will never forget. We ended up leaving an expensive bag of makeup & a polaroid camera behind and she made the effort to make sure we got the items back before we headed back home. Book with Marlena!

We had a private tour. Marlena was excellent! She made sure we got the most out of our adventure. It was an 8 hour packed day. The only downside were the roads, so bumpy.

My family and I did the zip line, horse back riding, hot springs, and waterfalls tour. Paublo and William provided transportation and guided tour. The experience was amazing! Paublo was patient with each member and observed our needs to make the tour more memorable. The waterfalls were absolutely majestic in a lush landscape. This tour took us into the mountains to witness the true beauty of Costa Rica. The zip line was also exhilarating and scary at the initial encounter but after the first of six runs I looked forward to the rest. As we encountered each activity William safely transported us while Paublo provided history. I would do another tour provided I get Paublo and William as my tour guide and transport team.🩷

Marlene was our tour guide and she was GREAT!!!! She was very knowledgeable, informative, conversational and patient. Her tours are private with just your group and you will not feel rushed. She took lots of pictures and when asked she took us to a souvenir shop and to a grocery store. If you are having a hard time deciding which tour company to use CHOOSE THIS ONE because you will not be disappointed!!!

It was a wonderful day with Marlene as my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about all sorts of topics, planned the activities well based on my preferences (I got lucky with a private tour), & it was fun, active but not rushed / tiring at all. We started just past 8 & got back to my hotel around 4:30. Lunch was delicious too. I packed water shoes & extra shorts for the slide but everything else was provided.

Best Tour and tour guide Frander! Bought the excursion from Planet Hollywood through Nexus on August 14, 2025. The tour was very organized. We felt very safe in all the activities. This mega combo Buena Vista tour was the best from zip lining in the rainforest to horseback riding, a very long thrilling water slide and natural hot springs deep in the rainforests. Our tour guide Frander was very friendly, patience and informative. Awesome guy! Nexus Tours should hired more staff like him. Yes! I highly recommend NexusTours and this excursion

She made sure we were treated well and got to do the things first haha it was a great experience We got to zip line, horseback ride, waterslide, have an amazing lunch, and then Carmen took us to the waterfall and hot ponds/mud bath

We had a great time on this excursion. Walter did an excellent job with the Costa Rican history and he is very passionate about his job. The excursion itself was very well planned out, we did 4 different activities and lunch during the one day. I would recommend this excursion for anyone looking for an adventure in Costa Rica. The driver, Carla did an excellent job getting us back to our resort in a timely manner even with traffic and bumpy roads. You guys made our trip memorable!

This was a 10/10 experience from start to finish! The zip line was absolutely thrilling, giving us breathtaking views and an adrenaline rush like no other. The mud bath was such a unique and relaxing experience—definitely a must-try! The water slide added an extra element of excitement, making us feel like kids again. The food was delicious, with a great variety that left us completely satisfied. And to top it all off, the horseback riding was so much fun, allowing us to take in the beautiful scenery in the most peaceful way. Worth every penny, and I would definitely do it all over again!

More for the money, if you want an all inclusive excursion I highly recommend this experience. Zip line, horseback riding and more.

We picked this tour based on the reviews, and it might have been undersold. Marlene was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She built a Rincon tour around what we wanted and delivered fully. From when she picked us up to when she dropped us off (in Liberia), we felt very taken care of, never rushed, and we had a great time. Don’t miss the waterfall or hanging bridges at Rincon. The waterfall was breathtaking and worth the hike. On the hanging bridges we encountered many howler monkeys, a toucan, coatis at the end, a Great Curassow, among some other common animal sitings. And don’t miss Marquito at the culturas!

The trip was nothing short of amazing. We had a great host who made it better. I enjoyed the horse back riding and the zip lining the most. All others were just as great. I can't remember our tour guide's name but he was amazing. The traffic was horrible going to and from was the most challenging but that's no one's fault.

We had a wonderful day here! Our tour guide Marlene picked us up at our house and took care of us the whole day. She is a gem. She is very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and helps you experience all the things this has to offer!

Our family had an awesome experience with Marlene Rivas from Clamatour. The Buena Vista adventure day trip was full of fun and excitement from start to finish. We enjoyed the horse ride, 7 course ziplines through the rainforest over canyons/waterfalls, exciting trek on the hanging bridges, the culture tour was a good insight into local culture, hike to waterfall, hot springs and mud bath was refreshing, the delicious lunch and last but not the least the adventurous water slide. It was a complete package of adventure, nature, wildlife and fun. This is a must do activity for families visiting Costa Rica. Everything was great! Even in the pouring rain we got a taste of Costa Rica jungle, wild life, hot springs, zip lining, horse back riding and the water slide was everyone’s favorite. Our guide and driver were incredibly friendly and made our experience very memorable!

I traveled with my 16 year old grand daughter and a friend’s family. This tour was spectacular for us all! We did horse riding, hanging bridges, zip lines (7), lunch, cultural demos, water slide, hot springs, mud bath, in that order. Marlene, our guide, was fantastic - she was well informed and kept us engaged during our drives, she organized activities in ways to avoid and minimize waiting times in between and shepherded us safely through all the activities, while providing adequate time for each. She was cheerful throughout and deserves a special shout out! All the staff for the different activities were friendly and made us feel safe. Many of us did activities for the first time, but enjoyed every one of them. The horse riding was my first and my horse had his or her own mind and I was able to enjoy the quirks while happy to sit tight. The 16 hanging bridges were challenging but the monkeys and birds we saw on the way kept us distracted. The zip lines offered beautiful views of the terrain. The water slide was the scariest for me, but I wouldn’t have missed it for anything! It is the longest I’ve done! The buffet lunch is a great spread, with veggie options, and tasty. The hot springs were very relaxing and completed an adventurous and fun filled day. This tour is superbly organized and packs in a lot in the 7-8 hours excluding the pick up/ drop drives. I would highly recommend it!

Everything about this trip was amazing. The driver of the shuttle was prompt and knowledgeable, as well as the tour guide as well.

This was our first tour and our first time in Costa Rica. Marlene was our guide for the day and she was fantastic! She has a keen eye for spotting wildlife and she shared plenty of knowledge regarding Costa Rica life. We never felt rushed and saw monkeys, capybara, toucans, etc. most of which we saw because she spotted them and pointed them out. She was obviously respected by her co-workers as they were all willing to help out to make the trip just a bit more unique. Simple things that made a huge impact.

My tour bus never showed and they never explained why and refused a refund. They never answered thier phone so my hotel put me on a different tour and had a horrible experience. Should have stayed at the hotel. I even paid more than the other tours.

Frander & our driver (forgot his name) were amazing! We had such a great time and they did a great job informing us of the sequence of the excursions. The ziplining views were crazy & horseback riding was fun. I loved learning about the Costa Rican culture and the buffet food was 10/10. The hot springs were very relaxing. I felt super safe during the excursion and the group we were with was amazing. Muchas gracias y nos vemos pronto, ¡pura vida! 🇨🇷

Marlene was wonderful! She saved the water slide for the end to give us extra time and was so so so good with our young kids and with the adults teaching is coffee and interesting facts about everything!

Excellent tour and showed us many great things to appreciate in Costa Rica. The zip line was very long and well structured. Horseback riding was awesome. Waterslide was intense or easy…your preference. Lunch was delicious. A+

This is honestly the only excursion you need to book for Costa Rica to be honest! You get it ALL! Zipline, coffee, hot springs hiking, horse riding, water slide! And you gotta have energy because you really do everything on the list and none of it disappoints! I would not recommend this if you or anyone in your party has physical restrictions, they're all quite physical activities. My only complaint is that the harnesses for the zipline were really uncomfortable in the crotch. I've def experienced better harnesses, BUT the views were more than worth the pain lol!

What a day! Something for everyone. We enjoyed each activity, our favourite was the horse riding and seeing the nature in the rainforest. Our guide was wonderful, she gave us the full Costa Rican experience. Very well organised and great value for money.

This tour was definitely the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! Marlene was an amazing tour guide, and she should include photographer/videographer in her title as well! She was a great source of information about Costa Rica and its culture and was pleasant to talk to throughout the day. In regard to the activities, each was an absolute blast, and Marlene's experience as a guide helped us make the most of these. She knew the best order to go to ensure all activities could be completed with Costa Rica's rainy season weather and even took us on an additional hike to see a beautiful waterfall! She took a plethora of high quality photos and videos of my wife and I throughout the day which is always a great thing to have to be able to cherish the memories we made! On the way back to the resort, she even offered to take us to a souvenir shop she rated highly that had much better pricing than most others and a larger variety of items! I would recommend this tour and Marlene to anyone looking to get out and explore for a day while making some great memories along the way.

Our tour guide was fun and knew the ins and outs of the tour. She set up the tour so we never had to worry about whether the rain would affect the tour. She’s amazing and our group was fantastic. The water slide was amazing and the hot springs with the mud bath. I’m not a fan of zipline but it was good. The horseback riding was great. I enjoyed everything. Someone in our group was celebrating a birthday and she made it special. She went out of way and beyond making sure that we all had fun.

It was a great tour, and Jimmy and Juan were the best. My only complaint would be we had to pay 120.00 transportation fee, on top of the almost $1000.00 excursion cost. There were 6 of us. Was also I lot further then they had told us.
