Direct Transfer Liberia Airport To Guanacaste Hotels

Very professional and organized. We were greeted at the door of the airport and directed to an air conditioned van. The 40 minute ride was pleasant and scenic.

It took 1 hour to go through customs but he waited for us with my name on a sign when you exit the airport.

Contacted tour company thru the app. Was told where to meet. Transfer took place. Driver, Rabin, was great. Very friendly and pointed out all of the volcanoes. Would use them again. And so much less $$ than the resort was going to charge.

It took a few minutes to locate our driver, but our ride to the hotel was comfortable and pleasant. Ensure you look for the name of the transport service and not "Viator".

The rider was waiting at the airport upon our arrival. The ride was generally pleasant albeit some large potholes as we neared our destination. The driver willingly stopped the vehicle to allow us to take pictures of some beautiful landscapes and to also show us some monkeys hanging around in a tree off the road.

They were very accommodating when our flight was missed and then Delayed. Highly recommend this company.

Our ride pickup had to be changed in less than 12 hours. Very receptive. Driver was considerate and safe!

I gave this a 5 star because the return trip was awesome! Going from airport to hotel-took about 1/2 hour to find our guy. There’s so many companies outside the airport. Once we got rounded up the traffic was backed way up due to an accident so a 1/2 hr trip ended up being 1.5 hours. Not aviators fault. Our driver wasn’t talkative at all. It all worked out fine!

Juan was great! They greeted me right outside the airport with my name on assign so that it was easy to find.

Our flight was 3 hours late and no one from Viator to meet us. Eventually had to take a cab at much extra expense. Can I get a refund from Viator?

Great service and very easy to use. Booked through TripAdvisor a few days before our flight. Reasonable price for a 90 min trip from airport to our hotel. Someone met us outside and called a driver, who was there in about 5 min. Van was nice, good AC, and driver was great. Highly recommend

Easy to locate once we arrive outside of the airport. She spoke good English and provided information for our return trip. The driver showed up promptly, friendly, courteous and we arrived at our hotel right at the time of our Ceviche Making Class! I would highly recommend this company

We used CAT for transfer to and from the airport to the RIU in Guanacaste. The drivers were both professional, courteous, and most importantly on time and safe. Even after a flight delay, they were right on time and very professional. Be aware of other persons in the airport that say they are with them as they just want a tip for taking you to the meeting spot. Find the sign with your name on it and only go with that person. Everything was smooth sailing from there! Our driver was great—gave us a lot of useful information and general tips. I would definitely use them again.

Recently went on a great trip to Costa Rica. As part of that trip, we used CENTRAL AMERICAN TOURS and they were amazing. Picked us up from airport to beach, took us on a nice excursion in the middle of the country and back to airport across the 8 days we were there. Greybiem / Graybiem (spelling) was with us the whole time and was amazing! He was always on time, insightful and extremely friendly. Big fan of Central American Travel & Tours!!!

I need a full refund. I prepaid for the service from the US and when we arrived, nobody was at the airport to pick us up. I had to pay for a separate taxi to arrive to the PAPAGAYO HOTEL. We recently returned from a great week in Costa Rica. We had transfers to and from the airport to the resort which was provided by Central AmericanTours. Gravy was our driver from the airport to the resort, and he was very friendly and polite. Mauricio was our driver from the resort to the airport, and he too, was friendly and polite. When I told him we had arrived to Costa Rica after dark, he pointed things out during our drive to the airport that we had missed because it was so dark. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Mauricio our driver was excellent.. we waited a bit after arriving, was confused to who to look for and where to wait. But the many other transports were helpful and told us where to wait. Overall I recommend the transport, vehicle was clean, and in good condition and provided great service.

Airport pick up was a BREEZE! 3 trips: airport to hotel (2.5 hours) hotel to hotel (4 hours) and hotel to airport (1.5 hours). For most of the trip we had Manny who was WONDERFUL! He stopped at the best places for pictures and dining. He also would pullover when he saw monkeys or wildlife or a great view. We made a great choice with this company!!!

Can very late getting to airport. Had to wait too long. Then he went super slow. Not impressed with Viator. Used them overseas before. This time not so good. Different charge coming and going to airport

We traveled from Liberia airport to a resort in Guanacaste. When we left the airport, we had to walk a long way with our luggage to get to the taxi. The staff person said parking is hard to find. It would have been great to have a luggage cart to help haul our bags to the van. On the way from the hotel to the airport, my sister-in-law needed to use the bathroom (emergency situation due to several surgeries). The driver slowed down near a gas station to call his boss, who told the driver he couldn't stop. We continued another 15+ minutes to the airport while she was in agony and said she came close to passing out. We were not running late to the airport, and a stop would have taken 3 minutes. The other passengers were not opposed to making a stop. There needs to be compassion and understanding for those who are in difficult situations. While we were on an excursion in Costa Rica (with another company), a passenger had a similar emergency and we pulled off to let him use the restroom. None of us had an issue with making a stop. Making a stop is much preferred over having a passenger be totally embarrassed by not being able to make it to the destination without an accident.

CAT Tours was easy to spot at the Liberia Airport, we didn't have to deal with all of the other drivers haggling over us to drive us to our hotel. The hour drive to our Guanacaste hotel went by fast listening to our driver introduce the country to us and give us suggestions on must-do activities and food.

They were ready when we got there. They were professional and helpful. They even made sure we were prepared and ready for our return trip back to the airport. The airport.
