Diamante Eco Adventure Park Atv Tour

We had a great time! As a 56 year old woman, I was a little nervous but the guide made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

The tours were not worth the price. U can get more for your buck with booking with the locals. The tours were boring and their process made no sense. There were no animals to see in the sanctuary & the ones that were there seemed miserable.

I enjoyed my ATV tour, and the tour guides were great, and very patient with us.

I had a great experience overall. The tour was enjoyable, and the guide was very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable throughout. My only suggestion would be to make the tour a little longer, as I would have loved to spend more time exploring. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

Atvs was a great experience, the tour guide wasn’t very patient with us. It was our first time riding so we wanted to take pictures and we’re looking around , at one point one of us stopped briefly to look at the monkey bar since our guide didn’t , and then our guide stopped and told us to not do that again in a very demanding tone. Loved the ATVS i would just ask that the instructor be more patient especially since many people that go to Diamante are tourist and are visiting for the first time.

Seven “mature” women spent all day here ziplining and riding ATVs, learning about chocolate and coffee, and looking at sloths, monkeys and butterflies. We had the best time! Lunch was delicious, staff was pleasant and helpful - they even refunded part of a ticket when two of us decided not to zip line and do ATVs instead. Would do it again!

Great experience. Thank you Diego! The sanctuary is lovely, I mostly enjoyed seeing Tigers, Toucans, Sloths and Butterflies up close. It is touristy but nonetheless well done. Staff is super friendly. The lunch buffet is good. The only negative was the overpriced ice cream at the gift shop. $ 14 for a Haagen Dazs Ice cream bar is outrageous. Did not buy it.

We went ATVing to the beach and in the rainforest. It was amazing! Then we saw all of the animals in the sanctuary. It was a great day!

Went to the animal sanctuary and to ride ATVs. First, the good. Had a blast on the ATVs. My daughter had a smile from ear to ear the whole right. While on the ride, we stopped and were able to see monkeys up close. A real highlight. Enjoyed the animal sanctuary, but were given the impression by the tour operator that it was more of a wildlife environment. Felt like going to a zoo. Bit disappointing.

5 out of 5!!! Perfect location next to our hotel. So many things to do. Amazing staff and everyone was helpful. We did the animal sanctuary and the ATV's. Shuttle picked us up from the RUI. The shuttle runs every 30 mins. I suggest getting your tickets prior to getting the shuttle because the asked for the ticket confirmation before getting on the shuttle. Perfect excursion close to the hotel.

Excellent day trip. We did the adventure pass with the ATV instead of zip line. The animal park was very well done. Felt like walking around Disney Animal Kingdom. The ATV tour was fun. The first half was very bland with more driving on dirt roads and the beach. The second half was a little bit more aggressive, trails in and around the mountain. Kind of a good mix for everyone. The beach was fantastic. They were hammocks, available chairs, kayaks, paddle boards. A good way to wind down for the last couple hours of your day. It was an excellent touch having a buffet meal available at lunchtime. There were plenty of options on the food selection for everyone in your group. A nice salad area, a hot meal area with multiple starch options, and a kids area with cheese, pizza and fries.

This was my second trip to Diamante and it was just as good as the first. For the first we did the zip lines and I have done others. No one compares. Don't think you have experienced zip lines until you ride on Superman! This trip we did the ATV tour and our Guide and Coach was Robert. He was very excellent and I cannot imagine anyone being better. If he spotted any unusual animal life he stopped and excitedly pointed it out to us. I felt like the experience was fantastic. NOTE: Everyone at the park is truly a Costa Rica Tourism Emprasario/a! Nowhere else in the world will you find this. Make see you go to the animal conservation area as it is magnificent. Many of the animals were rescued like an ocelot and a spider monkey missing an arm. FANTASTIC

Had so much fun. The road was super bumpy but Im 66yrs and was able to do it. Lunch buffer was super delicious. Staff super cordial and friendly. Hoghly recommend.

The ATV guide was great and informative. I preemptively reserved two single riders on the ATV. However when we arrived it was clear my family member didn’t feel safe riding alone so I rode the single ATV and she rode along with the instructor. A single rider is 70$ but two people on an ATV is 80$. So after the tour was over, I tried to get a refund from the company Diamanté since we only had one single rider and my mom rode with the instructor BUT they refused to change my reservation and I was charged 140$ vs 80$. This is UNACCEPTABLE. They test your capabilities and comfort level only right before you take off on the trail. Therefore if someone isn’t comfortable, for their safety, they should be allowed to modify their reservation. We were going to go zipling and horseback riding today but due to poor business practices we will not be returning.

AWESOME day at Diamante!! The kids did the Zip-Line while my husband and I the the ATV Tour. This was my first time on an ATV and our guide was excellent and very patient with me. Afterwards we all visited the Animal Sanctuary. Wonderful day.

We had an amazing time on the ATV tour! The tour took us to both the beach and the mountains, offering diverse terrain for all skill levels. As a beginner, I found the beach section easy to navigate, but the mountain trails were a thrilling challenge. Our tour guide was fantastic - super patient and attentive, especially since I ended up riding with them. They ensured my family and I had a great experience. Highly recommend this tour for adventure-seekers! 5/5

Great place to experience multiple activities, money well spent. Staff was very good and helpful. We did the ATV and the animal reserve. I wish we had time to do the zipline.

Worst experience ever! Let me just say never visit this part of Costa Rica they are very racist! Do very little to help you and not friendly at all it is very clear who they prefer to cater to. I did not get to ride the ATV because my hair could not fit in the helmet but I ask the instructor before did I have to wear the helmet before we started and he said no! Also I brought my own atv googles and scraf so I figure I should be fine plus I have rode ATV’s before in other country’s without a helmet it was not a big deal. I was very upset because why tell me I didn’t have to wear just to turn around and be like oh you have to wear it then say oh my English isn’t very good but then give us a whole speech in English about your life to us?? Then referred to one of my family members as a monkey. I will never ever visit this place again probably will never comeback to Costa Rica again!

Diego was a wonderful as our private guide. Very knowledgeable and helped us with different levels of riding. Fun ride through rolling hills and streams. . Saw hawler and white face monkeys. Thank you!

Our guide was Diego who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Thoroughly explained everything and made us feel safe and confident. The tour was fab, got to go to view the monkeys and then headed to the beach. Must say I didn't take in much of the views as I was concentrating on the person in front of me 😂 The main centre was clean and all the staff seemed friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this place on your trip to Costa Rica.

We had an amazing time on the ATV tour. Our tour guide was wonderful and gave us so much information. After the ATV tour we visited Lucy the Sloth at the Sanctuary. The entire experience was unforgettable and we would definitely recommend visiting the Diamante Eco Adventure Park if you have the chance while in Costa Rica!

Great wildlife center but it’s hot best go in morning sloth feeding is 9.30. Shuttle from Rui and only 10 minutes away from hotel

Awesome!!! We had a group ranging from a 7-year-old to teens and up to an 84-year-old. Diego was our guide, and he was fantastic—actually, the whole team was great. They ensured our trip was enjoyable for everyone, catering appropriately to our group without being overprotective. The experience was extremely personal and professional, and we loved the variety of terrains we explored.

Be prepared to hop on and off the open shuttle van. Once you park and check in, you'll get wristbands for your adventures. Since there's really no food places in the park, you're somewhat obligated to purchase their onsite lunch buffets (if you plan on making it an all day adventure). We got there around 10am and left around 3pm-ish. We didn't do the all day pass. Just the ATV, lunch, and animal sanctuary. Be aware of your surroundings, there's tons of iguanas roaming. There's a photographer to capture all your adventures: 1 photo for $12 or all the photos for $24. ATV tour- Not bad, we did the double. Keep in mind you're not going off road or speeding at your heart's desire. You'll be following the tour guide in a single file line and sometimes the driver in front of you can slow down the whole experience. We rode to the monkey area and beach where you'll have chances to take pics. Animal Sanctuary- Outdoor self guided tour. The popular sloth isn't always out. We were disappointed because we made it there during their feeding time but they didn't want to come out. The tigers and pumas were asleep. My fave parts were the butterfly and toucan areas. Lunch buffet- There's juice, tea, and water included. Alcohol and specialty drinks are available for purchase. I didn't care for the food offerings because 1) the roasted chicken was all dried up (buffet started at 11 and we got there at 1130) perhaps old meat? Or it sat out too long 2) the white rice is too dry for my liking 3) the vegetable side was bland There's pizza, fries, chips, salsa, salad bar and beef... stew? Employees are accommodating and most speak English. One complaint: Zipline has a weight max, 280lbs...

A fabulous experience with patient and safety conscious staff. We had a practice run first and then went on an easy trail to the beach before doubling back for a bit more off road adventure. Great time

The animal sanctuary was fantastic and the guides who work there know their stuff. We got to watch them feed the sloths and you can zip line right through the place! Even better was the ATV tour. the ATVs are high quality and easy to learn to ride. It was my first time on one. Our guide, Diego, was very good. He taught us how to run the ATV and took us on an amazing tour around the mountains and down to the beach. He even stopped to take our pictures (using our phones). We took our mother and she rode on the back of his ATV. She had a great time! Highly recommended. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. Very nice ride even for beginners.

Diego was amazing! He was patient, helpful and made sure we were all safe, while still having fun. The terrain was doable for everyone ages 15-58. After the ATV ride we went back to the lunch area and had a buffet lunch of chicken, rice, beans, plantains, salad and rice pudding.

Diego was the best ATV tour leader. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The tour itself was very cool. We got to see the beach and the jungle with beautiful views.

We had an awesome time! It rained the first day we went so they canceled the ATV rides but they were very accommodating and offered for us to come back the next day to do the ATVs. Excellent customer service. Great lunch buffet. The ATV tour was really fun. We were first timers and they made sure everyone was safe. We also got to experience the cultural presentation on how coffee and cacao is made. Got to make our own chocolate and learned how the locals make their coffee. The animal sanctuary was really cool. Sloths!!! Definitely a recommended spot.

Our tour guide was awesome! The animal sanctuary was very cool too! The gentleman doing the chocolate and coffee tasting was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

***TOUR INVOLVES HILLS AND BEING IN THE REAL ROAD*** I went on the ATV tours and it was so fun! The instructor Diego allowed 2 test runs to ensure you knew how to drive the ATV’s due to the nature of the course having hills and unfortunately my family and I were unable to drive ourselves because of inexperience. Luckily it was just my family for this tour and Diego was able to offer to drive my family along with Fernando, his assistant and Alex who was the photographer for the tour. We drove through the adventure park and on the road to the beach which was amazing. I am very appreciative that Diego, Fernando, and Alex were able to accommodate to my family.

The park has amazing views, zip line is thrilling, the ATVs tour was fun, the animal sanctuary was very interesting. We recommend this park!

Really enjoyed the tour. Had a patient and informative guide and went to the beach and jungle and stopped to see monkeys.

For the amount we paid was expecting more. Spent 20 minutes of instruction, 10 minutes stopping on the beach so it amounted to approximately 30 minutes of riding time. This experience is definitely commercialized as the route was basically a track and nothing particularly unique to Costa Rica

Guys do not skip this!!!! We did not book in advance for our family of 5 because we were undecided and wanted to see what the hotel had to offer for excursions first. We decided to go anyway on our last day. We did ATV, horseback riding and the animal sanctuary. This was the highlight of our trip!!!! What an awesome afternoon. Fun for all ages. The People, service and animals were amazing.

The ATV tour exceeded expectations! In our group, the moms did ATVs, dads and teenage kids zip lined. We all toured the animal sanctuary. There were five zip lines, including the superman. ATVs went through trails and to the beach. Lunch was included and the view from the main reception area is gorgeous! I would highly recommend!

I’ve done several ATV tours over the years and I can say this was the best one yet. Our guides were really friendly, informative and patient w the ones in our group that were inexperienced and nervous. They took us through several different terrains, to the beach for group photos and etc. Really awesome experience overall and we all had a blast!

Was interesting to watch the animals, reptiles , birds etc all in one environment - was pretty much like visiting the rain forest minus the long travel time depending on where you stay

This was an incredible tour!!! The trails were beautiful and clean. The beach was stunning and it was tons of fun ripping around in the sand. We saw a lot of howler monkeys and even a little baby monkey. The ATV tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel very safe, as it was my first time on an ATV and I'm a small woman, he kept a close eye on me. By the end of the tour I felt like I could live on an ATV for the rest of my life. No experience required! Don't think about it - JUST BOOK IT!!!

This is an educational location with a good assortment of animals being rehabilitated. We loved the butterflies and the toucans.

The zipline was fun and well done! However I paid for pictures and got some of other people who weren’t in my group! All efforts at contacting the park were fruitless! All email address came back as invalid! I still don’t have my pictures from March 5 at 9:00!

This place is incredible!! The location is perfect, with a main building overlooking a beautiful cove. They have shuttles running constantly so you never have to wait to get to where you want to go. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, ready to answer any and all questions you may have. The Wildlife Sanctuary is amazing in a variety of ways. The focus is on what is indigenous to Costa Rica so the facts they provide informs you about both the species and the country. The cats are awesome, the snakes are captivating, the monkeys and birds are super fun to observe. Also really loved the butterfly enclosure. Two faves though were the sloths and the marmots. Such fascinating creatures! The ATV tour is unlike anything you can experience elsewhere. It was my first time on an ATV and it didn't take long to get the hang of it. Our guide Ronny gave us a lesson and sent us on a brief test drive before embarking on the journey, which was very helpful. We started by riding down to the beach which is stunning and not overcrowded at all (we even went back to hang out there after we left the park). Riding on the sand and stopping to take a walk around felt like tapping into a slice of paradise. Then Ronny stepped the adventure up several notches on the next portion. Driving through a stream and then up into the mountains, with paths that twisted and turned in all directions. One of the most exhilarating things of ever done! I can't think of a better vacation activity than spending a day at Diamante.

There is a really bad disconnection between the front desk and the personnel at each adventure. The front desk are only interested in charging without disclosing safety information about the equipment or tours, also even though I had my documents scanned they rejected them in order to charge me the full price. Yes you are supposed to carry your documents with you but when you are going to an adventure like they advertise we wanted to use the electronic documents just to avoid mishaps. They didn't care. Very poor customer service in general. Not worth the price. It is priced as a VIP 5 stars place and it is not. The buffet is regular "soda" items. The whole thing is very commercial.

I loved this tour. The guide was amazing. A great balance of awesome views, fun trails and great information about the area, wildlife and history. The Sanctuary was one of the highlights of my Costa Rica visit. Very informative and well done!

Well organized, orientation was just the right amount of information to have an easy enjoyable ride.

The team was great with instruction and took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable with their ATV before setting off. We were given small breaks to see monkeys and beautiful views at the beach. I would highly recommend.
