Diamante Adventure Park - Ocean View Zip Line

The animals are beautiful! Lucy and Mia the sloths are the cutest ❤️ Zip lining was super fun! In total it was about 4 hours.

This whole experience was worth the price. Our friend scheduled the pickup from where we were staying to the park. It was about a 30-minute trip from Coco Beach. Most of us did the full-day pass with zip lining and lunch. Then we went to see the animals and ended with the cultural experience where we learned more about Costa Rican coffee, sugarcane, and how to make chocolate. We started with the zip line. I don't even know how to describe that. It's definitely an adrenaline rush, and the views were incredible. It took maybe 90 minutes or so to zip line 5 times. We had a large group. Then we had lunch. Lots of options to choose from at the buffet. Next we explored the rest of the park on our own. The entire staff was very friendly. We were there for about 5-6 hours. Worth every penny.

We were very impressed with the beauty and layout of the park. All the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Most spoke very good English but were patient when we tried out our limited Spanish. The lunch buffet was very good and the zip line experience was incredible. Highly recommend.

Very overprices for only 4 zip lines. They said it was a 1.5 hour experience, but only lasted 45 minutes. For $80 per adult, I don't think it was worth it compared to other Zip line adventures in Costa Rica. The animal Sanctuary made us very sad, with animals confined in small spaces. Butterfly exhibit was nice.

Zip lines were the best I’ve ever been on. Done zip lines all over in several different countries. The Superman line is awesome

All 5 of us went on this adventure. A couple were nervous about the big, Superman Zipline. But, we had a blast. I strongly suggest knee length shorts for the harness, a breathable shirt with short sleeves, NO hat, wear sunglasses with a strap. If you are going to carry a phone, you will need a belt bag because the harness will block access to your pockets. Speaking of pockets, use zippered pockets. You can bring anything you need for after the zipline as there are lockers and our guide put all of our belongings in a bag and kept with him at the main building. Closed toe shoes are REQUIRED. There are 5 or 6 ziplines and the Superman one was so fun!! Having sunglasses for this one is a good idea because wind will make your eyes water. After the ziplines, you cross over a wood and rope bridge while securely connected to a cable via a carabiner. After the ziplines and bridge, our guide found us and proved bottles of water and fresh fruit. Then, we had a tour guide take us around the sanctuary where we saw sloths, different types of monkeys, a puma, 2 jaguars, deer, crocodiles, turtles, birds, butterflies, tapir, frogs, snakes, and more. We left our hotel at 8am and arrived back at 1pm. Put sunscreen on before you leave your hotel.

We had such an amazing time zip lining! If you're a thrill seeker, I definitely recommend doing this. Everything went super smoothly, and we had no issues at all. The staff was so friendly and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. We were in a group of about 20 people, but everything was organized really well and never felt chaotic. The whole experience lasted about an hour and a half, which I thought was the perfect amount of time. The views of the ocean were absolutely beautiful, and it's really close to the RIU hotels, so it's super convenient if you're staying there. We paid $80 per person for the zipline and free fall, and the photo package for me and my boyfriend was $34, which was definitely worth it. Overall, we had a great time and would 100% do it again. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something fun, exciting, and worth the money!

Zipline tour comes with 4 Ziplines and an optional mini free fall. At the end. The longest ride is almost 1 mile and for sure a good experience. But since not all guests are able to hold the right position, they get stuck on the third zip line which creates a long queue. This forces you to wait about 20min in the sun. Staff is very helpful and safety measures are taken seriously. However the costs of almost 400 USD for a family of four is way to high for this 1.5h experience.

This adventure was booked as part of a larger retreat and was coordinated through the event coordinator.

My older daughters (11 and 12) and I did the ziplining tour and had a blast. It's clear they do this hundreds of times per day, as everything felt really safe and organized while running through the 5 ziplines. Total time for all ziplines was about 1.5 hours; it might take longer later in the day, but they seem to cap each group that starts the zipline tour.

Fees are at least 30-40% overpriced. Seeing jaguar, pumas, butterflies, tapir was really engaging. Sloth - barely could see them as they were sleeping. Ziplining - superman was fun, the rest 4 lines were just average and very long waittime. Food at the buffet was quite good, fresh and good selection of veggies. Overall, I would not come here again.

This place was an absolute blast, well worth the money. We are told it's one of the best in the country but it is the only one we have experienced so far, amazing, professional staff and amazing views from this one.

This is a very professional outfit. The guides walk you through the entire setup process, explain what you'll experience at each of the four zip lines, and make you feel stable and secure. As for the zip lines, the Superman drop is about 1.5 km long and a lot of fun. The smaller drops are just as fun or even more so due to the view. I highly recommend them!

The zip-line excursion was memorable! The staff was helpful and friendly and really helped calm the nerves, especially on the Superman zip. The views were absolutely stunning.

The views while zip-lining were beautiful. The staff were very nice and helpful during our adventure. Although you only do 4 Zip-Lines, they are long and have incredible views.

The place is well run with lots of friendly staff. The animal sanctuary was fun and informative, with the sloth feeding and big cat awakenings a pair of highlights. The superman Zipline (nearly a mile long) had stunning views.

What an incredible experience at Diamante Eco Adventure Park! This was my very first time zip lining, and it could not have been better. The course was exciting, fun, and definitely an adventure. Be prepared for a lot of climbing between platforms, but it is absolutely worth it. The entire operation felt extremely safe and secure from start to finish. The guides were professional, friendly, and encouraging, which made me feel comfortable even as a first-time zip liner. The views were amazing, the zip lines were thrilling, and the staff took great care to make sure everyone was properly equipped and confident before each run. Their attention to safety really stood out and allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience. Afterward, we had lunch, which was a wonderful surprise. The food was delicious and tasted homemade. Two lovely ladies prepared and served the meal, making the experience feel warm and personal. If you're considering zip lining in Costa Rica, I highly recommend Diamante Eco Adventure Park. It was fun, well-organized, safe, and unforgettable. A perfect first zip lining experience that I would happily do again!

I actually spent my birthday at Diamante and it was a blast! All of the staff were EXCEPTIONAL. My dad told a bunch of them about my birthday and they were incredibly kind and made sure I had a fun time! Thank you! The Superman zipline is SO fun! The view is so cool. The zipline guides are very good and fast! They don’t make you wait at all and the make sure you are safe. Incredibly efficient and great guides!

Very well organized (unless you buy a photo package), bathrooms scattered around the property. Boyfriend did the zip line and loved it (except we have no pics of his adventure). They had transport vans to get you to and from each activity. Views were spectacular. UNFORTUNATELY we never received our photos that we paid for while at the park. We are so upset that our once in a lifetime memories were never sent to us. I can see by other reviews that other people are having the same problem. I have emailed this park every day for 5 days and have received NOTHING. Terrible customer service....BUYER BEWARE!

I went on the Zipline on May 21st. The Zipline was great. I ordered and paid for photos. They told me 24 to 48 hours and now I'm back home and still haven't received the link for photos.

Absolutely an awesome experience. The Superman line...wow. Totally amazing. Great staff, and very safe.

Hello. I am hoping management or someone sees this review. I have reached out via email and phone several times to this company about photos that were prepaid. I have not received them yet. I went on a tour for my birthday yesterday and I still have no photos or memories. The tour was fun and the people were nice…. I just want my pictures :(

I went with my daughter, her fiancée, and their 10 year old. We did the zip lines and the eco tour and the cultural tour where you learned about how they make coffee and chocolate in Costa Rica. We also made use of their beach at the end of our day to cool off which was beautiful. Buffet was included and the food was very very good. The animals were amazing, with very nice enclosures, the zip lines were fun, the Superman line was a bit scary but the views were amazing. It’s a very relaxing park and you get a lot for what you pay. I highly recommend it for all ages, and plan to go back. We stayed from 11-4 and would have stayed longer if we could have!

They greeted us so warmly. The facility was clean and scenery beautiful. The staff was helpful and encouraging. I felt safe and cared for and the experience was unbelievable. The view was stunning. I wish I would have booked a longer tour with them, possibly a full day at the park. I would go back!

DO NOT PURCHASE the zip line pictures from this company. They do not provide them to you. Their policy says 24-48 hour turnaround time for photo delivery... It HAS BEEN 33 days!!! I have sent no less than 10 emails requesting our photos with NO RESPONSES. At this point they just stole my money as no goods were rendered.

Zip line staff were super helpful. Zip line tour was such a fun experience, especially the Superman!

I was interested in seeing the snakes. The glass in the displays were so dirty it was hard to get a good visual, I found that other displays were just as dirty . I could see that the turtles and alligators could use more water in their ponds . The had a large crocodile who was laying in little tiny amount of water . He looked very hot . I didn't like to see that . There was one parrot who was alone in is enclosure and should had no other companions. I didn't continue because I didn't want to see anymore torture of the animals. I wouldn't recommend this attraction. You can see for yourself if you choose. We also did the Zip lines . But unfortunately my wife's helmet was knocked off giving her a small head injury and rope scraped her leg causing bruises. Still waiting for results of investigation . I am not confident l will hear anything without more inquiries made

The staff was so great very kind and helpful throughout the whole experience. Despite there being a crowd we weren't waiting long at all to get on the ziplines. The was practically no walking so great for those who can't walk a long distance. They also keep ice cold water at each station which was much needed in the heat. Overall best excursion by far.

We booked this excursion through Nexus Tours at our resort. The Nexus guys were great. The zip line excursion started out exactly on time and despite a little bit of a chaotic check-in experience, we got right into the very first tour available after our check in time. The guide crew was taking pictures right from the start which we were immediately interested in buying. We thoroughly enjoyed the zip lines and the guides were knowledgeable and took extreme precautions with respect to our safety. Overall, a really great and memorable day! Unfortunately, this is where the adventure turned very sour. We very much wanted to purchase photos of our experience, which we did for $12 each. This process was very rushed due to the departure time of our shuttle back to the resort. I was able to quickly choose some photos for purchase (and to preserve our memories) and was given a card with the photo number, date and time of the tour. After paying for the photos I was assured they would be emailed to me within 48 hours. After this email failed to arrive, I sent an email to Diamante customer service asking about the photo and detailing exactly which ones I had chosen. What I received back were photos that were not only NOT the ones I chose, they weren't even of our family! I immediately emailed again asking for the correct photos with no response. Since that time I've emailed no less than five times attempting to get my photos or a refund for what I spent on them and every time I've been completely ignored by this company. That is a totally classless and unacceptable way to deal with customers. I admit that the adventure was well worth it and would do it again, but don't be tricked or fooled into buying any photos from this company as my experience shows that they are completely unreliable in getting you what you paid for or even giving a simple response to attempt to rectify it. This is an insulting and unacceptable way to treat paying customers, especially those that desperately want to preserve photos memories of what could have been a once in a lifetime experience. This lack of customer service definitely put a huge damper on what otherwise would have been a great experience.

We had a blast doing the zipline tour. We went with our 9, 10 and 11 year old kids and they enjoyed it as well. You do have to be 60lbs to participate. The experience was well run, the guides were helpful and it felt incredibly safe. The Superman ride was so unique and amazing to be on a zipline for that long! One of our kids was too small to do the ziplining, so she did the Animal Park with one of our adults and it was the perfect activity and amount of time for her to do while the others did ziplining. We stayed at the RIU Palace, super close, so the free pickup and 5 min drive made this a nice morning excursion...we were gone from the resort for only 2.5 hours, which was a nice break from some of the full day experiences we did.

The experience was well organized, the team was experienced and very knowledgeable of how to position when using zipline. There is over 5 ziplines with the famous superman zipline which all felt amazing. The whole experience of all the ziplines was over an hour.

We had a great time on the zip lines! The Superman run is crazy fun and will absolutely take you out of your comfort zone, but so worth it.

Great way to spend the day! My older kid and husband did the zipline tour which they loved, while my youngest and I enjoyed the animal sanctuary and cultural tour. Worth it!

We had to leave following zip lining because the shuttle waiting for us was scheduled to leave so did not get photos. I have reached out multiple times with zero response. Especially after they responded where to email. Getting setup for zip lining took a really long time as did the checkin process. If you pre paid, there should be a faster checkin process. Disappointed to not be sent the pictures to purchase after. Great shuttle driver though! He was fantastic.

Loved the entire zip line experience! The Superman was amazing! Normally I get very nervous with heights but I was just excited! Still waiting for my photos tho and it’s been 4 days :/ called and emailed a few times and still waiting. Really want those to show friends and family how amazing it was!

It was a fantastic experience. Never zip line before, it was a blast. My 9 yrs old grand nephew loves it. We also saw the Sloths, monkey and more. I recommend the visit for sure

We visited with our kids and did the zipline and animal sanctuary tour. After the zipline, we eagerly requested to see our photos, to capture this special memory. We were told that they didn’t have the photos and they would have to ask a different camera man who wasn’t available. After nearly a week contacting Diamante, we still have not had a reply or photos. If you want your experience to be captured in photos, don’t count on them to do it unfortunately.

After visiting the sanctuary in the morning with our wives, my friend and I decided to do the zip lines. First time for both of us. The staff were very professional and made us feel real comfortable. Fit us with the appropriate safety gear and helped us throughout runs. Staff were very good speaking Spanish and English. Everything went very well.

We loved the zip lining. It was amazing and especially the superman one was the best. But we do feel like we were over sold. We the adventure path which was an all day pass and ended up catching a shuttle back at 11:15 because we had done everything that we felt like wanted to do.

We had a great time on the zip lines, but despite numerous emails and phone calls over the past nine days they have not sent our prepaid photos or even responded to my inquires. I saw the photos on their computer immediately following our lunch. They exist, the park just doesn't seem to want to share them. The rating is based on the scam of a photo package and the complete lack of customer service.

WOW! What a great adventure. About an hour’s drive north of Tamarindo, we spent half the day here. We are a family from aged 75 to 4. We did the Discovery Pass and enjoyed the animals with biologists explaining all about the beautiful creatures. Think the white faced monkeys wanted to come home with the kids! Those of us that dared, did the ZIPLINE! What a blast, especially Superman. I was not prepared for the exhilaration I would feel. This experience will be on REPEAT! I purchased the photo package, well worth the investment! Stayed and had a delicious buffet lunch as well. Pura Vida!
