Costa Rica Guanacaste Airport ( Lir )Private Arrival Transfer

Our flight was delayed and they said they were tracking it. They were there when we landed! Great service

We told the guy we were staying at JW Marriott Guanacaste and he took us to the other side of the country 3 hours from our destination. He told us it was the only JW Marriott. There was a language barrier and so that made it even more uncomfortable when he realized it was his mistake - he said sorry and then wanted another $300 . We ended up traveling back to the airport . Lesson learned . Next time print your destination and even translation to show your destination clearly .

The person who took bags to car requested specific amount for tip. That was not cool. We would have given tip without request but specific request was made from person who put bags on the van.

Great experience, professional and kind. Our driver was outside waiting with a sign. We booked directly with them coming back for a 20% discount (less than I paid going) and a driver was at our hotel waiting for us. My toddler had to use the bathroom and he made sure to find us somewhere to stop. I would definitely book them again!

We opted to do this arrival and departure. Arrival was a little hectic without having telephone service as soon as you arrive. However people who work at the airport were very helpful. Once communicated with driver everything was smooth. Departure was great driver arrived at the hotel early and we had a smooth ride to the airport.

Trip was good. Representative was slightly difficult to find upon arrival and the air conditioning in the car was barely blowing air to the back on the highest setting. Vehicles are dated but, the drivers are kind and drive well. Price point is also a bit steep at $100 one way for 20-30 minute drive.

I would probably pass on using this company again. The positive was that we eventually got to our destination, but the overall experience felt very disorganized. When we arrived, there was no one waiting for us and no sign with our name. We tried calling but didn’t get an answer. After sending a text message, we were told the driver would arrive in 5 minutes. During that time, several independent drivers approached us offering rides. . We likely would have accepted one of those offers, but we had already prepaid $98 for this service. I’m still not sure if our assigned driver ever arrived. Eventually, someone approached us, told us to follow him, and led us to a van that took us to our hotel. While we did make it safely to our destination, the pickup process was confusing and stressful, and I wouldn’t recommend this company based on this experience.

We waiting at airport for about 15 minutes, before driver arrived, but it was ok. Once everything got communicated correctly it was all good. The driver was very engaged of getting us to our hotel & very pleasantly. Very much so an experienced driver, we enjoyed the ride. More importantly we made it to our destination safely. Hopefully he will pick us back up on the 7/26/2026 @ 10:00 a.m. from the same hotel and return us back to the Airport.

🚗 This morning we had Jose with Ecotrans take us from Guanacaste to the Liberia airport and he was fantastic! He was prompt and safe. My kids thoroughly enjoyed him and all the knowledge and history he shared with us. 1.5 hours went by quickly! 🐒🐊 ☀️ Wish I knew about him earlier in the trip because I would’ve booked him for every leg of the trip!

Exceptional service from start to finish! José, our driver, was fantastic! He picked us up right on time at the airport and was super friendly throughout the entire trip. He gave us a great introduction to the area on our way to the resort and made us feel incredibly welcome. Booking with Guanacaste Infocenter was a breeze and I highly recommend it!

The transfer was booked from LIR to Tamarindo. Our driver was friendly and open to our requests of stoppings along the way. I wished I had read the pick up details because it took us couple minutes to find our driver out side of the airport.

Driver was easy to find and ride was smooth. He offered to make a stop at the market/shops, but we were too tired from the flight to want to do anything but get in our room!

Jose was wonderful. My pick up was amazing. After talking with Jose and looking at the website I was under the impression that my price included round trip transportation. Be mindful of that before booking.

Our chofer was great! Friendly, talkative. He was willing to make a stop before getting to the hotel. He took us to this small nice mall , we did our souvenir shopping.

I booked the Private pickup from LIR Airport and the pickup was great and so was the Ride very Comfortable Van with AC. The only Problem I had was I Requested that the Driver be English Speaking but he wasn’t so not much talking!

Booking was seamless (directly through Tripadvisor). My wife and I arrived about an hour or so late due to airport delays and our driver was still waiting outside with no issues. Scheduling the return was simple (we were able to do so by messaging through Whatsapp and got a 20% discount). We plan on going back to Costa Rica one day, and when we do, we will DEFINITELY use this service again.

The directions provided ahead of time on how to navigate through customs and baggage pickup to find our driver was very helpful. The driver was waiting for us and the van was delightfully air conditioned!

The biggest thing is that you can truly rely on them to be there when you book with them. They communicate well with you and when we walked out of the terminal in Liberia he was waiting with a large Envelope with my name printed in LARGE letters. They request your flight info so that they can see if there are delays, etc. A few days before departure I messaged for a return transfer to the airport . They suggested the time to be picked up for our particular flight, and he was there at the hotel waiting a bit ahead of time. Both drivers friendly. Thanks!

Wonderful and informative driver. Waited to when flight was late, pointed out monkeys and had lots of information.

Trip went very well overall. A bit of confusion at the airport as the plane arrived early and the driver wasn't waiting outside. Sorted after a few minutes and driver provided some nice local colour enroute to our resort.

Would not recommend. Took well over 30 minutes to locate after arrival. Also booked for departure which we received zero follow up or confirmation.
