Met us at the airport and took us to our resort without any trouble. We had the entire van to ourselves! They also let us know they would pick us up at the end of our stay, anticipating how much time we would need to make our flight on time. Very courteous!

Great experience. Our flight landed over an hour late and our driver was there and ready to go. His van was clean and comfortable and he was just the right mix of interesting information without too much conversation. We highly recommend this airport transfer.
We had Erick as our driver and he was wonderful! Our flight was delayed and he was following our flight info, so reached out as soon as we landed to let us know he was waiting. He asked if we wanted to stop at grocery store or restaurant and we did for sunscreen and quick snack. He pulled over along the way for a beautiful vista of the sunset! We asked him about other tours and booked another excursion for later in the week.
Everything was flawless and easy. Not much more needs to be said. Driver was polite and got us to the hotel in good time.

Our service was amazing. We were so thankful we didn’t get a rental car and used the shuttle instead. It’s a trek to the resort and we felt so safe and comfortable with our shuttle!
I was traveling with 9 adults and 2 babies under 2…It was nice to have our driver and van waiting for us after our long day of travel. Van was clean and we had cold water waiting. Our driver msg me right when I landed letting me know exactly where he was. I was nice since the airport can be a lil overwhelming with so many people.

We arrived late due our flight being delayed but our driver waited. He was easy to find with the sign. The minivan was clean and our driver safe. The communication was excellent with driver information provided before the trip.

We travelled 3 times with Errick to the Dreams, then to another resort then back to the Liberia airport, with our toddler and young baby. He arrived early each time so we never had to wait. Though English was limited, he did his best to tell us about what was around us. Car seats weren’t as expected by North American standards so we did what we could to keep our kids safe. Erricks driving felt safe and the roads were great. Thanks Errick and Guanacaste Viajes and Tours.
Excellent! In time waiting for us on arrival, clean transportation, very pleasant and accommodating driver! Stopped for refreshments at our request and offered to stop at a beautiful overlook for a family picture which we appreciated. Masked and hand sanitizer used regularly.
We used Guanacaste Viajes and Tours for our transportation from the airport to Los Lagos Spa and Resort, then from Los Lagos to Dreams las Mareas and then for a 3rd time from Dreams to the airport. All 3 times had Carlos as our driver who was always early and made sure we made it to our destination safely. We were a group of 8 and this company had much better pricing than the hotel. The van was very nice and clean, would definitely recommend this company for hotel transportation.
We got a round trip with them and both were amazing and very efficient! Our first flight came in late and our driver waited for us which was awesome! On our way home they showed up early and helped up get loaded. Coming to a new place where you don’t know anyone they were 10/10 for making us feel comfortable and safe.

This Transportation company did an excellent job when it came to communicating with me where to find the driver the name as well as the license plate of the driver that was coming to pick up my clients. Also when they were on there way to get them from the resort it was also communicated thoroughly! I will be definitely using this Transportation company with all my clients coming to Costa Rica.
Our driver Jose was great, unfortunately the line for customs was crazy long, so Jose got stuck waiting outside in the heat for us for more then 2 hrs, yet he was still very pleasant and polite. He showed us some landmarks on the way to our hotel, he got us to our hotel safely in a very reasonable time, he didn’t just drop and go he spoke to the attendant for us and waited till it was our turn, he’s got a hood sense of humor too. The company itself was easy to work with, we knew who our driver was and what car he would be driving, would recommend to family and friends.

Ariel (to resort) & Carlos (to airport) were friendly & super knowledgeable about the area. Made the 1.5 hour drive to the resort a pleasant experience. It was a private transfer for a lot less money than the resort was charging for shared transfers to/from airport. I saved $100 by using their services and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Best part was receiving an email with the drivers name & license plate number so I could be assured I was getting in the right vehicle. If you want a private taxi with great local people, then this is the company for you!

Never been to Costa Rica before and was nervous about 2 women traveling between hotels and the airport. My fears were unfounded. I always felt safe in the Guanacaste area. I picked this company with the recommendation of a wedding travel agent. I highly recommend Guanacaste VIAJES MB for transfers. All drivers arrived early and were professional and friendly. Vehicles were well maintained and clean. All drivers spoke enough English to communicate. The first trip was from Liberia Airport to a hotel in Playa Hermosa. When you exit the airport there will be a roped-off area with 20-30 drivers holding up signs with last names. You're told to look for a maroon shirt with a company logo. The only problem was the logo is small and our name was written in pen on a piece of paper, which was hard to see. We missed our driver going down the line and had to backtrack and look over the drivers again. No big deal but a little awkward for me and my daughter. Drivers were asking our names and not sure if they were really trying to help or were just looking for our business (after dealing with the Cancun airport for past trips I was a little leery). Found our driver on our second pass and was immediately put to ease by his clean-cut look and excellent English. Air-conditioned van was close by. Nice that he asked if we needed to stop for anything before getting to the hotel. A little disappointed he didn’t offer to help take our luggage down the stone steps to the hotel. Our other 2 long trips where to Dreams Las Mareas and back to the Liberia airport. Driver there spoke little English but was pleasant, Driver back arrived in a large new tour van for just the 2 of us. He was very sweet and did a great job with the English he knew. Only recommendation would be for better signage for airport pick-ups. I originally considered getting an Uber to our hotel since it was less than 30 minutes. After using Uber during our trip I’m glad I didn’t. It is definitely worth the extra money for the reliability and peace of mind that Guanacaste Viajes provides.
They picked us up on time there and back and were very friendly. Had no issues whatsoever with them. Would use them again if I ever go back to Costa Rica
Our driver was careful and made safety his priority. It was a long trip from the airport to our hotel destination but he kept our trip safe and talked to us the whole time.

Our driver was incredibly professional made the long car ride not as bad. He pointed out native plants and trees along with animals. He spoke very good English but also helped us brush up with Spanish. Fast and smooth ride and would definitely use this company again.
The driver was on time with my name tag easily visible in the lobby. The driver (William) was ver hospitable and informative on the drive. The coach was clean, cool, and stocked with water. As for Trip Advisor, booking the service was a piece of cake and affordable.

The transfer was great. The driver was right outside waiting for us when we exited the airport. It was a nice smooth transfer. We felt safe. We had a whole van to our selves which was nice and roomy. On our way back, we encountered and accident but Fabian still got us to the airport in time. The van is great on the way back too. Transfer price is very reasonable.

We used them for airport Transfers and a last minute custom private day tour. Both times we had Santos and it was fantastic. The prices couldn't be beat, the responses from Manuel were super fast and Santos was friendly, informative and could spot a rare animal while driving at 100 yards. They are accomodating and versatile. I will call them first when I go back to Costa rica
